So I've been chainvaping like fucking crazy lately, and it's gotten to the point where i'm going through about 90mL of juice a week. With "premium" brands that means I'm spending over $60 bucks a week just on juice, a habit I cannot afford to continue.

I'd like to start making my own to save costs. It doesn't have to be amazing or anything, it just needs to be smooth and not taste like shit. Anybody have any suggestions regarding what equipment to buy? Brands of vg/pg/nic/flavors?

OP here, just giving you guys an update on the off chance anyone actually cares.

I got some Hawk Sauce and Admiral Berry Crunch from Mt Baker, 30ml each. Cost me 15 bucks altogether. The admiral berry crunch is alright, its mostly flavorless and just a bit sweet but that's because I haven't let it steep like you're supposed to, so the milk flavor and such hasn't come out yet. And hell, for 7.50 a bottle I really don't give a shit. It'll only get better with time. Once I finish these I'm gonna start ordering the 236mL bottles from now on, those should last me about a month.

Can't believe I never tried this before, thanks for the heads up whoever suggested Mt Baker.

Admiral berry crunch is my go to ADV, but i generally get it with at least 1, usually 2 extra flavor shots. I think it will make a rather large difference in the taste for you. I tend to not even really steep it all that much, even on the 236ml bottles. Itll only cost a buck more for 2 shots so go for it next time you order.

I keep seeing people say it's good even without steeping. Maybe I got a bad batch, but mine was almost completely flavorless. It was slightly sweet and had a minor chemical taste to it. I'm hesitant to spend any more money on the stuff, though the flavor they say it''s SUPPOSED to have sounds pretty good.

I've read quite a few posts across various forums saying Mt Baker tends to be pretty inconsistent, with two bottles of the same flavor often tasting completely different. I hope it's not as much an issue as some would say.

Regardless, I got two 236mL bottles. Hawk Sauce and Moo Juice. I'm gonna vape a lot of the Hawk Sauce first because I think it's pretty good, and give the Moo Juice time to steep. Out of the mail it just smelled like salted butter. Two days later it's taking on hints of strawberries and cream. Hopefully it turns out well

So I just ordered two big bottles of juice from MBV. A bottle of Thug Juice. And a bottle of Afternoon delight. I previously tried them and they were all day vapes.

The thing is, I just got these bottles in, they're fresh. Mixed just a few days ago. And they're different then the last two bottles I got.

The Thug Juice is normally a reddish-purple type color. This bottle is yellow. And the Afternoon Delight is clear, and its usually yellow.

I tried the Afternoon Delight and it sucks. Its harsh, tastes faintly of alcohol. Its unvapable to me.

Whats up with this? Do these need to steep more or what? I'm pretty pissed right now.

Read the instructions. If they were mixed just a few days ago of course they need to steep more. There's a whole section about how to steep juice and how long to do it for and how juice often isn't good when you first get it.
>>
Eliza Brabbleset - Sat, 05 Dec 2015 00:38:57 EST ID:s74T/9WX No.1320 Ignore Report Quick Reply
The vast majority of their flavors will require some steeping to vape well. The nicotine needs time to oxidize and the flavors need time to mix with the pg/vg, as well as to allow some of the alcohol base in the flavoring to evaporate off. There are a few that are good right out of the mail though. Hawk Sauce is one of them, so vape on that while you let the others steep.

Most people ranting about Mt Baker tasting like shit are people that didn't bother to read anything on their website and thought their ejuice would be ready to vape the day they're delivered.

http://blog.mtbakervapor.com/steeping-yes-always-yes/

On that note, can anyone suggest any juices that are good right out of the mail? I chainvape nonstop so I rarely have time to let a juice steep well before I vape through it. My current strategy is to buy 236mL bottles and have them on rotation, vaping through one while the other steeps.

im new to vaping and im planning on buying the clearomizer in this picture, and i dont understand how it's supposed to screw into onto a mod. other clearomizers ive seen simply have the little screwy thing sticking out and you just screw it into the hole on the top of the mod, but on this one it doesn't look like it would reach.

I think you'll need an eGo adapter if you're going to use that clearomizer with a 510 connection on a mod, the 510 connection being the common type of connection where there's a "hole on the top of the mod" and the atomizer has that "little screwy thing sticking out"

Whats your favorite RDA and why?
What do you like about an RDA in comparison to a tank?

For me, I was always a huge tank fan and hated having to drip every 10 (give or take) hits. I had all the most popular tanks, from Subtank Minis to the Smok TFV4. But they became "samey" and the cost of having to buy prebuilt coils was getting up there, especially once I got the TFV4 and it was basically the same thing with little differences / variables, where as with an RDA there is basically endless options for what you can build in it depending on which RDA you get. Whether its the coil you make or the wicking method you use.

So my favorite RDA, is the Haze Mini. Its small, has a great deck and the flavor is great! My favorite builds are just standard 22G 8 wraps which comes out around 0.15.

So /Vape/, whats your favorite RDA?

I've been thinking about dropping down to 0 as well. If you want more of that throat hit even with 0 nicotine, try getting juice with a higher ratio of PG to VG. PG is what gives you that "burn." Try a 50/50 mix and go from there

Glycerine tincture should work since it uses the same base as e fluid. however what you should do is get a concentrate attactment for your ecig. you need two parts, an adapter and a coil piece. it shouldnt be more than $20-30 overall
>>
Edwin Pockwell - Tue, 01 Dec 2015 14:04:33 EST ID:po39Am49 No.1303 Ignore Report Quick Reply
Saturating unadulterated weed oils with vegetable glycerin and cooking it on a stovetop on low heat--stirring often--will work. You need to keep adding water slowly to keep the consistency thin enogh for it to absorb into the wick.

Keep in mind that you'll be spending three times as much money on atomizers as it gums up the wicking material and clogs the coils quite fast. Also, stock up on an appropriate solvent for clearing the carb out--vapor does make its way in there post-inhalation and it will wreck the base of the clearo if you don't clean it.

I always thought arizer made the best bang for your buck vapes. I got an Extreme Q and honestly wish I just got the V-Tower instead and saved some money since I never use bags. The vapor is great quality and it is not very harsh. I usually would just hit it through the whip but I bought an attachment that connects the vapor hose to a water pipe and it is fantastic. I never saw the appeal to a volcano, bags have got to be the most annoying way to smoke IMHO.

The Sigelei 150W with temp control is a solid device. It's my every day use box and I love it.

Sig 200W, which outclasses the 150W in every possible way, and is only a few bucks more. If you can't pick, or are lining up un-reg 26650s against regulated, you don't know enough or have enough experience to get unregulated.

I have had the Sigelei 150w tc for a month or two now and love it. If I were to buy a new mod now I might get the newer model (Fuchai 200w tc by sigelei) or maybe something like a Reuleaux RX200w (dna200 if I had the money, although the new chipset is probably pretty nice too and much cheaper). Either way, I can't complain about my Sig 150w tc, great mod, and I haven't pushed it past 65w or even tested the TC yet.

Are mech mods even considered decent? I was considering a 18650 stingray clone mech mod with a Smok TFV4 tank with sextuple coils, would this be a decent running setup? I just have no clue about mechanical ones, and was wondering what im getting into here.

I like mechs, all day, everyday. The TFV4 will probably work much better on a high-power box with adjustable wattage at least. With a RTA option on the TFV4, the tank might work nice on a mech. Be careful putting it on a mech with a hybrid connection, and check for a squishy or flat 510 connection on the tank. If the Stingray is running with a top cap and not a hybrid disc then it should be no problem.

>I just have no clue about mechanical ones
This is usually an indication that one is not ready for mechs just yet. Most mechs have minimal safety features, compared to regulated devices, so a lot of the safety is up to us, the users.

The really low subohm coils work very well on a mech mod. I use an Arctic with the .2 coils on a hells gate when my regulated run out of battery. But you have to know how to calculate out the wattage. Too high and its a crappy vape, too low and the batteries stress or coils will torch. .2 on a single or parallel set up will run at about 80W, which is fine for that coil and tank, but not, perhaps, for a subtank.

But I do agree, if you didn't know that already, you need some more experience and education. Mech's sing when they have an appropriate RDA and build. There is a reason they dominated the scene for well over a year, and continue to do so for the top end cloudiboius

A few people use mechs, and a small portion of those use them appropriately.
