Please don't buy Kangertech by Frederick Bindleman - Tue, 25 Oct 2016 08:30:52 EST ID:JCZG8kWe No.3044 Ignore Report Quick Reply

I am only making a thread to implore you PLEASE NEVER BUY ANY KANGER PRODUCT

I work for the UK's biggest vape retailer (measured by number of shops), and we have more Kangertech products (particularly tanks) returned with faults than EVERY OTHER HARDWARE MANUFACTURER COMBINED

I FUCKING HATE SELLING THESE PIECES OF SHIT JUST TO HAVE TO REFUND/REPLACE THEM THREE WEEKS LATER

In terms of reliability (based on return %s)
Aspire -> Innokin -> Sigelei -> Smoktech -------------------------> Kangertech

That is all.

Been vaping on Kanger products for the last three years.
Never had problems other than those that resulted from my own stupidity.

Same.

I kinda view Kanger as outdated but reliable.

Kanger is mediocre, but eleaf is terrible. Pretty much took a week for my tc200 to stsrt developing firmware problems, then build quality problems, then connection problems. Now im just saving some to get a wismec

The biggest problem I have with Kanger is that every tank I've had leaks constantly.

I've been using a Kanger Subbox a year and a Subtank for maybe 2 years. It's been great. My box shows some obvious signs of heavy wear but still function as it did on day one. Lately I've got some coil that burned really fast. Usually I use a coil for at least a month but I've gotten some that lasted only 2-3 days. The last batch of coils I bought seem to be okay, but if I keep getting bad ones I might look to switch to another brand. Otherwise, I have little to no leakage and am happy with my Subbox / Subtank.

Also sell tons of Kanger stuff. We get corroded batteries once in a while but other than leaky tanks we don't see too many complaints. It's very high maintenance sometimes, but if you take care of it it lasts forever.

The biggest complaint I have is their kbox 200 paint job is absolutely shit. Haven't even had mine for six months and it's chipped to hell. Also if it does matter to anyone reviews say their 200 watt claim is bull shit. All things considered though it's still a nice piece of equipment. My subox mini kit was one rugged motherfucker though.

There's a rebuildable section for your tank that will save you a bunch of money in the long run. Just get a spool of wire that can fit it(I'd suggest 24g kanthal) anf wrap your own coils.

Have to agree, stay away guys. Had the deck of a RDA arrive cross threaded, and couldn't disassemble. Tried contacting KangerTech. They have no phone, email, or im support. You can only contact them over Skype. The internet company I bought the tank from told me to contact Kanger for a replacement, and KangerTech told me the replacement part is so expensive due to shipping, they asked me to purchase a new tank instead.

Ragebroke and switched to wismec

Item 3 was stuck to the deck and would not unscrew from the airflow portion

Didn't want to make a new thread, so I thought I'd ask here.
I've been using a Kanger Topbox mini kit for the last year or so and It has worked great for me so far.
However recently I started having this problem where my drags are incredibly weak on my tank unless I unscrew the top and let some air in. Then it vapes at full power again but gradually weakens till I have to open the top again.
It's definitely a problem with the tank, but I don't know what it is exactly. Could it be the O-rings on my tank or something worse?

My first setup was a kangertech subox 50watt. I enjoy d it and I thought it was a good beginner setup. I did go through a lot of coils sometimes although that might be in part because of my noobiness to the vaping game. Then about 6 months later it would no longer register that a tank and coil were connected.

Op do you have any thoughts on the Kbox Nano? Just picked one up and now you have me worried. I've used their tanks before and they worked very well, but never their mods. Should I return it?

I just got a Toptank mini and its fucked right out the box. If I screw it on tight my mod says its shorted, so I have to fiddle, unscrewing and screwing it till I find a spot where it works. However the resistance jumps all over the shit and TC wont work with it either, gonna have to get a replacement.

Sigelei that far down?
Strange, the 150w and the 150w TC are the most unkillable devices i've ever used out of probably all electronics tbqh
