how cheap can I go for a dry herb vaporizer that 100% works. I've bought flower mate and later flower mate mini and neither did anything, complete waste of 200$. doesn't need to be portable. Efficiency is very important.

jesus do i have to buy a 700$ volcano just to confirm whether vaping dry herb is even a real thing? because I'm starting to suspect it's a scam and people are too embarrassed to admit it

Vape enthusiasts like log vapes like the e nano (~$200) for their simplicity and durability. Desktop vapes tend to be more powerful than portables in general, which is probably what you want, and log vapes in particular are known for being very efficient.

The MFLB (~$130) is very efficient but super finicky. I love mine but I could see why people wouldn't, you basically need the finishing grinder ($30) and the vape's power depends on how fresh your batteries are. Cleaning it kinda sucks and the screen is very fragile. Doesn't sound like the best gamble for you to take. The vapcap ($30 + $10 for the torch) doesn't have any components that break.

Of course, nicer portables like the Pax 2 or 3, the Firefly 2, and the Crafty are very good but more on the expensive end of things.

Read around here and look up videos of people using vapes you're interested in before buying.

The Arizer Extreme Q is a really good tier 2 desktop vaporizer. It's a convection vapo, so drawing requires actual technique but the flavour and effects are bananas.

hmmm. dry herb is terribly hard to do cheaply. would suggest getting something like the Tvape and connecting it to a bong.

I know it's just some guy on the internet, but my roommate's bro back in college got a volcano vape with his school refund and loved it. We decorated our Christmas tree with vape bags that year.

>I've bought flower mate and later flower mate mini and neither did anything
What does this mean? they didn't turn on? Hard to believe they didn't do anything if you packed them fully and turned it to highest temp but oh well

Get a vapcap if you want a cheap vaporiser that works good, no temperature contorl but you get dense vapour that will definitely work. they're like $30 plus you have to buy a torch

Get a Pax 3. They work great and look great and you can control the temperature with a mobile phone.. I'd used Davinci Ascent, Magic Flight, and a couple others. None really competed.

vaping dry herb totally works and is real. Back before herb pens and this stuff, I think a lot of us used this bullshit - lightbulb vape!

Buy a Grasshopper, they are the best portable vaporizer on the market for your money. Enjoy bro!

If your flowermate didn't work, it's probably defective. me and my mates have 2 FMS and they work perfectly fine, they vape herb very nicely. this is a silly question, there are plenty of good herb vapes out there.

Fucker, give details. I've seen that Grasshopper stuff during its 'Kickstarter' phase but it fell off the radar.

You telling me that thing actually works well? What're the actual pros and cons.

start vaping shatter or wax.. get yourself a $50 pen.

Worst advice ever. If you're not in a medical or rec state (over half the country), it's very unlikely quality concentrates are available, let alone at a price that's comparable high for high with flower.

Secondly, G pens are all absolute trendy garbage that clueless fucks buy because it looks sexy and appears to function in an idiot-proof manner.

In reality they aren't built to last, get gunked up quickly if you use anything homemade like kief, and the batteries/draw power suck.

OP get an Arizer EQ, a Silver Surfer, or a Da Buddha vape if you want the best 2nd tier yet budget desktop vapes. IME the EQ is a great bargin at ~$150 new shipped or ~$80-100 used on craigslist if you don't mind cleaning out bath salt and spice resin.

If you want a portable and don't care about discreetness get a Mighty. It's not cheap though.

It's better to buy a budget desktop vape instead of a budget portable. If you do get a mflb, you NEED the car and home plugin cords. Then you don't waste your batteries and the vape hits more consistently.

If I was on a budget I would get an extreme Q for desktop and a grasshopper for portable. Then you can hit the grasshopper through a vaporbong at parties and such.

It's a bit hot and harsh without the bong though. So don't expect to vape 3g through it daily on one battery charge.

Long term though I'm glad I bought a Volcano. Just get the Classic (not digital) because only the digital models are faked, not to mention the Classic is cheaper. You really only need two or three temps anyways (~375-388F for highest tell that's still below 392F where benzene begins to vaporize, the highest temp possible for max clouds, and perhaps much lower to make indica hit like Sativa. They have print outs you can tape to the Classic to show the temps).

If I needed a daily portable I would get the mighty. It has the oven of a Volcano.

Might end up getting the grasshopper for occasional public discrete use + bong attachment. The volcano requires zero maintenance, but with casual use the grasshopper is pretty fun.

Not him but if you need something that just werks
Dont get the grasshopper.

If you want something that slams like a cone through a water pipe
Get the grasshopper.

I own one and i think i got one of the magic few that actually operated without issues, 8 months it was perfect and then i tried taking a massive hit and coughing so hard water from the bong got on it. Beginning of the end. Since Feb 17 been sent in 4 times.

I've hit pax 3, extreme q, solo, mgflb
And the hopper through a bong is the fucking best.

Hey man how does hopper vape via bong compare to volcano say 1-10

if you can handle a windproof torch get a vapcap m, if not a boundless cf or arizer air. a flowermate should work though

I have a “plenty” vape, works 200%. Highly recommend.

Tried a $15 portable vape from AliExpress, complete garbage.

I’m afraid it’s go big or go home

Anyway OP I haven't been keeping up on the vape scene lately, I'm sure there's a ton of new models since I bought my Arizer Solo (original, not 2) like 5 years ago.

That's a testament to how durable & long-lasting it is though. It's pretty fucking ugly, but as you said doesn't need to be portable, this thing pumps out, from what I've heard, desktop-quality vapor, but can be carried around. I like to take walks with it in the neighborhood. I almost want to get a flashy new vape that's smaller or with more controls or whatever but honestly I have 0 need. This thing just keeps rocking.

On a budget?

Airizer Air. It's portable and does the job.

I've been using a Weecke Fenix, which cost me 90€, for two years now. Before that I've had a Flowermate and I'm much happier with this one.

I also have a plenty, really solid dry herb vape. Honestly I like it more than my friends volcano
