Has anyone here experienced withdrawal symptoms from stopping vaping/being unable to vape? It is near impossible to find anecdotes or stories about pure nicotine withdrawal on Google because all of the articles are ACTUALLY about tobacco/cigarette withdrawal (which is objectively way worse/more intense).
I've begun vaping to self-medicate my shit attention span, and it works great (I feel really good, more productive than I've been in years), but I want to know for sure what I'm getting into. I'm not vaping to quit smoking, I have never smoked in my life. If I ever have to take a break from it, what will it be like? Headaches? Mood swings? A few days or a week
What have you experienced during breaks from vaping?

Pretty sharp hot flashes of aggression. Which can escalate depending on the scenario.

Generally irritable mood, with a lot of extra energy which intensifies the irritable mood.

It's a mental itch, you will constantly want to try scratch it. Like giving up porn and masturbation and getting those impulses except with an added layer of physical symptoms.

In terms of how long it lasts, it depends on how cemented the habit is. The initial chaos is out of the way in around 3 weeks, but they will be the longest 3 weeks of your life. Then you've got drinking, because that can really peak your hunger for nicotine. It's a daily battle until you start to feel like the war is won.

Man I ordered juice when I ran out, not before, and the withdrawal was worse than when I ran out of weed. Now I order well ahead of time so I don't run out. And it was only 6mg at the time so it wasn't like I was vaping 30mg in a pod.

I vape 3mg now, maybe the withdrawal wouldn't be as bad. At some point I would llike to go straight weed only but today is not the day

Short answer, anything 6mg of nic and above you will have withdrawel cravings.

When I successfully switched from cigs to vape on attempt 4, I only used 6mg nic so I could blast it contstantly, I tapered it down bit by bit, now I am on 2mg.
At 6mg nic I missed the vape and felt figity and wanting to vape when it was not around. Now at 2mg do not really miss it and am going to drop to zero on my next purchase. Been only vaping since 2015 october when this board started.

You're talking 6mg per day? That's not actually a lot.

he's obviously talking about using 6mg ejuice. because that's weak enough to vape all day without feeling nicotine sick while still giving you enough of a punch at a time to not crave cigarettes.
what is it thats not understandable about that post.

Well, he could go through two or three tanks per day. Then that'd be 12 or 18mg per day. Still not a lot really.

Enough to make you feel like shit though. I recently diluted down my 6mg DIY mix after realising that it's probably making me feel ill. Was vaping it from August till last week. Had started to feel a lot of pretty classic symptoms of too much nicotine.

I usually preferred 6mg, it felt strong enough to have a kick and weak enough to not give me a headache if I took more than one inhale.

Now it seems I am more of a 3-5mg typa guy.

What have i become?

I'm interested in hearing some advice about this too. I just got a job where I learned that smoking/vaping is not allowed ANYWHERE. I mean these Nicotine Nazis won't even let you walk across the parking lot and vape in your own car with the windows up on your lunch break. I thought putting down the weed for two months to pass a drug test was bad enough, but this shit just seems unreasonable. I've been vaping like 15ml a day for years and this is gonna be rough.

>mfw they say I can't vape in my own car

nicotine is addictive
you'll get irritated and will want to ingest nicotine when you don't have it
what even is this thread? vape withdrawal... its called nicotine addiction

Nicotine addiction/withdrawal is not the same as cigarette addiction/withdrawal, cigs have MAOIs and hundreds of other chemicals that increase addiction and dependence. So it's worth discussing, since cigarette withdrawals are given much more attention.

Easy solution: get nicotine patches. There's no way they can tell if you've got a patch on under your shirt. They're pretty cheap on Amazon. You can also probably sneak by with some nicotine lozenges and call them "mints," but the way you have to move them around in your cheeks/next to your gums might make some people suspicious.
