They seem to be doing this thing now where the refs refuse to do things now.

1. Extreme Rules: The ref not counting for both Ryback and Cena while they were down and the match just...ending.
   

2. Last night on Raw: The ref not counting out HHH while he was outside and instead the match just....ending with HHH stumbling on the ground.

I don't know if they're trying to be more like UFC/Boxing with the refs 'caring more about the competitors safety' but it still feels awkward when a match just ends and the ref/ring announcer doesn't say what the result is.

Yeah, but you can't just place a title's importance just on who's holding it. If that were true, the IC would've meant something when The Miz had it. And, if you want to get technical, the three belts held by the Shield are arguably more important than the WWE Championship, since the Shield impact damn near every feud they're in. Just because the title is getting focused on doesn't necessarily mean that it's more prestigious than others.

You need the tough competition to go with that. And what is Ambrose's competition? Jericho maybe? What are Rollins & Reigns' competition other than Team Hell No?

You can't compare it to the WHC's competition, one that needed a #1 contender match because there wasn't a clear suitor for Ziggler's title (I'm doing this on the basis of kayfabe, I know what you're thinking). You've got former world champions vying for the WHC. And there's no one suitable to take on anyone from the Shield yet. If there were a plethora of new talent to contend with (and doesn't it seem that the entire midcard is made up of heels for the super faces to beat up on?) then maybe you'd have a good basis in what you're saying, but in my view, just giving the hottest guys the lesser titles doesn't automatically rocket said titles past more prestigious ones. That's all I'm saying.

Even then, the point I'm mainly trying to make is no one seems to give much of a flying shit about ADR and Swagger the past few weeks, while the Shield have main evented RAW and every match they've had has had hot crowd (A lot of that is DB, but still)

The point is that the Shield have been treated like main eventers, as have Kane and DB to some extent, and now that they have titles, if their booking keeps up as it is, its not going to be long before we legimately see midcard belts getting more focus than a supposed World title, which is as low as its ever been.

Maybe it changes when Ziggler gets back. Who knows.

Bork/Haitch match proved the escape clause is silly. Bork had Haitch knocked down in the opposite corner. Bork went to the door, opened it, and Heyman handed Bork a chair.

All Bork had to do was take 5 seconds, walk out, win the match, and if he wanted to he could've walked back in with a chair and continued the beating. The escape clause just throws off the whole logic of

How to win a cage match:
First, bring a weapon, since it's No-DQ right off the bat. Now hit him in the nuts. Turn immediately for the door and walk out. No man can writhe on the ground for less than 10 seconds after a nutshot, so you have plenty of time to get out of the cage.
