> So this is the update on L.A. Park, who has left CMLL, although that was expected. The belief was he would work a few weeks, do the singles match with Rush, and then leave and return in August for the build to the mask vs. hair match. However, Dorian Roldan of AAA at their press conference was asked about Park vs. Rush at the CMLL Anniversary show and he said he believed it was impossible for that match to happen this year. He said sometimes there are surprises but he doesn’t think so. CMLL made a statement saying that Park was not fired nor was he suspended, so they aren’t doing even a storyline explanation for him being gone after he revitalized business. They said that Park is welcome to return but not until after he finishes his dates with the other company.

> Rush also did an interview saying that he accepted Park’s challenge for a mask vs. hair match at the Anniversary show. If CMLL won’t use Park until he’s done with AAA, which is so archaic at this point, they’ll have to wait until TripleMania, which would give him only two weeks to build the hair vs. mask match at Arena Mexico. Then again, you’d have to do that anyway since Park is putting up his mask at TripleMania for AAA, and they can’t very well advertise him putting up his mask at the Anniversary show prior to his match at TripleMania. The way things stand right now is that CMLL won’t book anyone who is appearing on AAA television. Fenix, Pentagon Jr., and Park haven’t been on AAA television of late. Park will be back on AAA television to build up the TripleMania main event and is being advertised for 8/10 in Veracruz(Pentagon will likely be as well) so he’s not going to be back until after that. Fenix has not taken any AAA TV dates so far, nor has Penta, but since he’s in the TripleMania main event with his mask on the line as well, he’s almost going to have to do some sort of angles building it up

> Kenny Omega was on The Ross Report and when asked about WWE, said that there is so much talent in wrestling right now that he could go anywhere and have great opponents, and brought up Seth Rollins and A.J. Styles, and said he would hate not to get a chance to wrestle them while he can still move

> While not official, it looks like the 9/30 return to the U.S. after the Cow Palace show will be back in Long Beach. That’s awfully quick after All In but it’s clear they want to do regular live specials on AXS to build the brand in the U.S

> The awareness locally isn’t there. Really, none of my friends who might be interested in the Cow Palace show had any awareness of such a show. There was a Japan Day festival in San Francisco on 7/1 and there was no presence of anything publicizing the show and that would have hit a huge audience. One of our readers went through Japan Town while there and said aside from postcards in a display rack off a side alley in one mall, a poster on bulletin wall outside a market and a full page ad on Japan weekly, there was no publicity for the show in San Francisco, and we’ve heard or seen nothing in San Jose. One of the Japanese video store owners who is a pro wrestling fan had no idea there was a show at the Cow Palace, and he knew about the Long Beach shows

> Chris Jericho said that he wants to make his cruise an annual event. One of the underlying things on the cruise is talent from ROH, New Japan and Impact together and I could see from the Impact standpoint, with them already working with smaller promotions, with ideas on shooting angles on the cruise, because it’s a natural environment for telling stories, with talent from one of the other companies. Along with the heavy tease of a Jericho & Young Bucks team for a six-man tag, he officially announced Adam Page vs. Frankie Kazarian as part of the Sea of Honor tournament they are doing on the cruise.

> Terry Funk, who celebrated his 74th birthday on 6/30, is still in a lot of pain due to an abdominal hernia and diverticulitis

> Michael Elgin, who has done limited indie dates in months, was back doing a few dates in the U.S. this past weekend. Because of social media reaction to him, he has done very little U.S. wrestling this year. New Japan didn’t even book him on their U.S. shows with the idea of a fear of a social media backlash. Even a number of promoters who wanted him on shows, including one national office, saw the reaction and tried to steer clear of it. He had worked a few U.S. shows and several Canadian shows without any incident or crowd issues but they fell under the radar and weren’t shows pushed hard through regular social media channels

> The ITV World of Sport wrestling show looks to be debuting on 7/21 in the 5 p.m. Saturday time slot

> Toni Storm’s WWE deal is definitely a U.K. deal and not a developmental deal since she’s confirmed dates through the end of the year in Germany.

> Due to a carriage charge dispute, El Rey at press time is off Sling TV.

> The Young Bucks Funko Pops were the best selling item of the past week at all Hot Topic stores nationwide. Even though the shirts sold great, there was skepticism at Hot Topic about this, but they did comparable to what Disney does

> The television deal with 52MX in Mexico that we had reported begin worked on was officially announced this week. Impact will air weekly on Saturday night’s at 9:30 p.m., starting on 7/7. As noted before, this is more than just getting television in the market, but the exposure is going to lead to more Impact guys working in AAA with the idea the fans will know who they are, and makes an Impact vs. AAA program in Mexico almost a natural.

> Just when you think the stock was at its peak, it has continued to get stronger. On 7/3, the stock closed at $74.04 per share, giving the company a market value of $5.713 billion. KeyBanc analyst Evan Wingren was a key in this week’s growth, changing his own price target of $71 per share to $85. He based that value on the idea that in 2020, the EBITDA will be $461 million and an $85 share price would be 14 times that. Citigroup also raised its projection of price from $41 to $69, but the stock is already trading above $69. EBIDTA of $461 million in 2020 is interesting in theory. WWE is projecting about $150 million or so in EBIDTA this year (actually OIBDA, slightly different) with television deals worldwide worth $235 million. In 2020, the television deals are worth an estimated (because we don’t know all international deals) $514 million. So of that $279 million in extra TV money, to hit $461 million you’d have to not increase any spending and other revenue streams would have to also increase another $32 million or you’d have to cutback spending. No company gains $279 million in annual revenue and doesn’t increase spending in some form. As far as the added revenue, I can see that. They expect growth at the network level by adding more expensive tiers, and everyone figures that is inevitable and has been talked about

> This is likely to change, but WWE did send the AT&T Center in San Antonio two top matches for the 9/16 Hell in a Cell show as Styles vs. Joe for the WWE title and Reigns vs. Owens

> Regarding rumors of WWE buying Evolve and putting it on the network, there have been talks of that from the start of the relationship between the two brands. It could happen soon or it could never happen. WWE allowing them usage of Adam Cole, but not on the WWN streaming service, isn’t a signal of anything because they’ve done that before. Whether it’s ICW, Progress or Evolve, WWE will put some or all on the network as soon as Vince McMahon makes that call. He’s gone back-and-forth on it for close to two years, including many times where he said yes and then changed his mind. If you understand the mindset, what would have spurred it on is if Flo Slam was a success, because it was ITV talking about doing wrestling in the U.K. that spurred the deals there, and FloSlam when it kicked off may have sped things up, but ITV then cooled down after the first taping and seemingly disappeared, and Flo Slam didn’t get off to a big start and is no longer around

> The new wrestlers who signed WWE U.K. deals for the new series that starts filming at the end of the month on 7/28 and 7/29 in Cambridge signed for one-year deals. Wrestle Talk magazine reported that the majority of the deals are for 24,000 pounds ($31,600 U.S), which would be up from the $20,000 deals the U.K. performers that originally signed were getting in their first year. The money may have been increased because they were trying to get talent that had been with ITV, notably El Ligero, Zack Gibson, Ashton Smith, Dave Mastiff, Joe Coffey and Kenny Williams. Others, notably many of the women signed (no women were signed originally because of a combination that ITV wasn’t featuring women originally and also because the status of women throughout WWE is so much higher than even 18 months ago) were given extended tryout deals which basically kept them from going to ITV and are also used for the Mae Young Classic.

> While the deals are one-year, WWE has the option of canceling at both the four month and eight month mark. Some who are skeptical feel the ability to cancel has to do with whether ITV renews after ten weeks, as if they do, they don’t want the talent free, but if they don’t, stockpiling talent isn’t as important. The contracts ban talent from working for companies with television deals or major on-line followings on their off days, and in specific Revolution Pro and Defiant in the U.K. and companies like Impact, ROH and New Japan outside. The New Japan aspect likely precluded any shot at people like Will Ospreay or Davey Boy Smith Jr., who are expected to be among the most-pushed acts with ITV

> Oliver Luck, the CEO and commissioner of the XFL, told ESPN this week that Vince McMahon has earmarked $500 million in startup costs for the league, which he said they project will cover the first three seasons of losses. Luck said he would not have left his position as the heir apparent to the president of the NCAA without guarantees. Luck himself is guaranteed $20 million for the job, which will make him the highest paid employee/contractor of Vince McMahon in history with the exception of Austin, Cena and Rock. That’s more than HHH, Lesnar, Kevin Dunn, Michelle Wilson, George Barrios or anyone else. Luck started in his new job on 7/2, moving to Stamford.

> Luck said that people who focused on $100 million (Vince sold stock worth a little over $96 million to fund the venture) don’t realize that $100 million only gets them to the 20 yard line. $100 million doesn’t last long when you’ve already paying the CEO $20 million (and $30 million with performance bonuses if goals are achieved). Luck also said that they expect to average about $75,000 per player on salaries with eight 40-man teams, although they will be paying significantly more for coaches since they are looking at high level coaches. He said players that have bigger names will be paid more than that. Another difference between this and wrestling is that all players will be insured as Vince McMahon has earmarked $10 million per year in payments to insurance companies. While wrestlers are making far more, Vince has never insured his wrestlers. The rival AAF has now announced all eight of its home cities for its league that starts in the spring of 2019, which are Atlanta, Orlando, Birmingham, Memphis, San Antonio, Salt Lake City, San Diego and Phoenix

> NXT Takeovers, starting with the 8/18 show in Brooklyn, will be starting one hour earlier, with the TV taping hour starting at 6:15 p.m. Eastern and the live specials at 7 p.m. We’re told the idea is not to lengthen the show, but end them earlier, but that was also what was said about the main roster PPV shows and the former three hour shows ended up at four hours and 20 minutes for the main card at Money in the Bank

> A correction on the Sami Zayn injury. The injury to his right shoulder, which he just underwent surgery for, was from a house show match in Montreal with Mahal on August 5, 2017, in a WWE title match. We had reported the injury was from November. He had been working since August with the injury. That probably explains his softer physique because you couldn’t do much in the way of serious weight training with a rotator cuff tear, since it impacts every movement for chest, shoulders and back

> Riott suffered a sprained left MCL on the 6/29 show in Rapid City, ND against Dana Brooke in something of an impromptu match since so many people had travel issues getting to the show. She got an MRI this past week to check on the severity of it. No word at this point how long she’ll be out of action

> As far as returning, Wyatt will be evaluated next on 7/6 to see whether or not he can return, and they are still advertising his match for Extreme Rules. Nakamura’s appointment to be evaluated will be on 7/9 and they clearly expect him to be cleared by 7/15 since they just started pushing his match on Extreme Rules this week. Riott’s next evaluation will be 7/30, so it doesn’t appear she’ll be out of action for any lengthy period of time

> Lars Sullivan is also out of action with a broken jaw

> Ziggler will be doing a stand-up comedy show on 8/17 at midnight at Carolina’s Comedy Club in Manhattan, which is the Friday night of SummerSlam weekend. Expected to be part of the show also include Ryder, Breeze, Renee Young and Charly Caruso

> Cedric Alexander (Cedric Johnson, 28) and independent woman wrestler Ariel Monroe were married on 6/30

> The latest in the Nikki Bella/Cena storyline is that they are “friends” and not back together but Nikki claimed she hopes they get back together

> Mick Foley taped a 20th anniversary of Hell in a Cell WWE Network special on 6/28, which was the 20th anniversary of his match with Undertaker. The show was taped in Pittsburgh, the city the match took place in. Jeremy Borash worked the show. Nita Strauss, the guitarist who played Nakamura’s entrance at WrestleMania, played Foley’s entrance here. Dominic DeNucci, who Foley’s trainer was also there. The show will air on the WWE Network on 9/16, immediately after the Hell in a Cell PPV show

> Nakamura made it clear in an interview with the same newspaper that he’s hoping to get a match with Bryan at WrestleMania this year. He said one of his main purposes in coming to WWE was to wrestle Bryan

> Rollins was interviewed by the Asbury Park Press for an upcoming show. He noted that the attempts for the full-fledged Shield reunion tour kept falling apart, first when Reigns got the mumps, injuries that changed around shows and most notably due to the Ambrose surgery for a torn triceps. “It started off great I thought. The reconciliation over the summer, myself and Ambrose winning the tag team titles, and then bringing Roman into the fold was really well done and a lot of fun and exciting. And then, the mumps happened, and there’s nothing you can really do about that, so that threw a real wrench into the plans. And Ambrose got hurt, so what can you do? That’s part of the business. That’s part of the game. One thing that’s exciting about it is I think it leaves us a lot of room for future Shield reunions, so that’s cool to see. If we get an opportunity to do that at some point down the road, that would be great. You know, we haven’t done it, and thrown it away and wasted it. It just stuff happens, you can’t predict those variables of people getting sick or injured.” He said he hoped that Ambrose would be back by the end of the year. He had surgery in December so one would think he should be back a lot sooner than that, as originally they estimated September and later I’d heard they were hoping for August

> The top ten most-watched shows on the WWE Network for the past week were: 1. Ride Along with Rusev, English and Lana; 2. 2018 Money in the Bank; 3. NXT on 6/27; 4. UK from London second show; 5. UK from London first show; 6. Something Else to Wrestle with from 6/27 on Big Evil Undertaker; 7. The Hardys: Woken; 8. NXT Takeover Chicago; 9. 205 Live from 6/26; 10. WrestleMania 2018. I’m not sure why, if there was a podcast about it or a story, but the 1998 King of the Ring PPV cracked the top 20 and it’s rare for something in that era ever to do that

> There was a long list of people getting tryouts at the latest camp including Chelsea Green (Laurel Van Ness in Impact), Rob Straus (Robbie E/Rob Eckos) and the Terrence & Terrell Hughes, the win sons of Devon Dudley, who did angles when they were teenagers in TNA. The leading prospect is Jacob Kasper, who we wrote about when Gerald Brisco had set up his getting into the camp. Brisco has compared him with John Cena for potential. >Kenny Omega recently appeared on The Ross Report to talk with WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross to discuss various topics including potentially signing with the WWE when his NJPW contract is up in January.

>He noted that he would like to work for the company due to its deep talent roster and that he would feel like it’s a missed opportunity if he couldn’t work with them at some point down the line. He pointed out AJ Styles and Seth Rollins as people he’d like to work with.

One way or another, they always come home to WWE. Always.

a sheet i've never heard before is making a big claim;
http://wrestlingstandard.com/rey-mysterio-re-signed-wwe/
>Wrestling Standard understands that former WWE Champion, Rey Mysterio, has signed a new deal with WWE.
>According to our sources, Rey Mysterio is pencilled in to return to WWE soon, after he put pen to paper on a new two-year deal with his former company.

>Wrestling Standard has learned that the 43-year-old’s deal will begin on August 1st, with Mysterio returning potentially as early as SmackDown in Brooklyn, two days after SummerSlam.

>Mysterio met with WWE officials 10 days ago, when Raw came to San Diego, California. Despite Vince McMahon’s absence at the show, this was when the deal was ironed out, and negotiations were finalised.

>The deal is said to be separate from the contract he signed for his involvement in WWE 2K19, as a pre-order bonus character.

The problem is that NJPW hasn’t advertised it well locally. I think the ticket prices could be another factor but given that they’ve been selling more tickets leading up to the show now that the full card is out, then it doesn’t seem to be much of an issue anymore.

From Observer's recap of Art Davie's UFC HoF induction speech:
>He said that Blatnik as well as Big John McCarthy knew way back then which direction the UFC needed to go and spearheaded the changes needed to take the sport to the next level. Davie actually gave him the nickname "Big John" because McCarthy used to actually pick him up off the ground. He said that the first UFC was incredible because it exposed boxers as being one dimensional and introduced ground fighting to American audiences. He said that after the first UFC, people were calling him to enter the next tournament and he could stop cold-calling gyms looking for fighters. He said that all of his ideas weren't great because at one point he came up with the idea to put John Wayne Bobbitt into a UFC but John McCarthy talked him out of it. He then compared this to Dana White signing CM Punk.

David Bixenspan with the report that vindicated Enzo
https://www.fightful.com/wrestling/exclusives/police-report-confirms-enzo-amore-was-not-told-rape-investigation-accuser-went-public

More than seven weeks after the closure of the case, processing was completed on the 44 page Phoenix Police Department report on the rape allegation against Enzo Amore/Real1 (real name Eric Arndt) on Thursday evening. The delay was due to the fact that while the accuser went public about her identity to Fightful, her name still had to be redacted since, officially speaking, none of that matters. In fact, even though the Phoenix PD had given the report number (which was needed to file the request) to Fightful back in January when we inquired about the Arndt case, his name is redacted, as well, as are those of the witnesses. All of this means that it can occasionally be hard to follow, but the new information in the report is fairly clear.

Back in January, when Enzo was suspended right after the story broke and then released a day later, what our own Sean Ross Sapp reported, citing multiple sources, that WWE was "livid" at the news. More specifically, this was because "they believe Enzo was aware of the allegations, and didn't inform them before it broke Monday, which led to the firing." According to the report, Enzo, though, was insistent—as he was later, that he had no knowledge of the investigation until it went public the day of the Raw 25 special. A note on page 13 of the police report appears to confirm as much (emphasis ours)

"During the course of this investigation and without approval or knowledge of the Phoenix Police Department, the victim posted a statement about the incident on several social media outlets. She also gave an interview to a news program and news outlets. The victim's posts stated that not only was [redacted] involved but implicated Mr. [redacted] in the incident as well. The victim stated she was drugged and left for sexual assault. The social media posts differed from her original statement.

After the victim public disclosed the active investigation, the suspect [redacted], now had knowledge of the investigation and all contact was directly to his attorneys."

>Later, on page 40, is what appears to be the explanation of why, three months into an investigation that started three months earlier on October 23rd, the accused could have no knowledge of the investigation (emphasis ours):
"On 102417 I attempted to contact the victim but I was unable to reach her on her primary phone number. Upon calling her secondary telephone number, I spoke to the victim's father, [redacted]. He informed me that the victim was currently in an in-patient lock down rehab facility and was currently unable to be contacted.

Mr. [redacted] gave me the name [redacted] as an administrator for the facility and a telephone number of [redacted]. He stated that I would have to contact [redacted] to facilitate any contact with the victim. The facility in question is the [redacted] facility.

This investigation is ongoing and pending contact with the victim. The victim's sex crimes evidence kit has been impounded and forwarded to the crime lab for processing."

>The implication appears to be that the investigation was paused pending further contact with the accuser; the report does not appear to mention anything about speaking to her again in the next three months. As for Enzo, once he found out in January, while he agreed to submit a DNA sample (a buccal swab taken by Los Angeles police in March), he declined to be interviewed and stated through his attorney that the sex was consensual.

>We have reached out to WWE for comment on how this information relates to what the company was aware of at the time of the firing and are currently awaiting a response. This article will be updated when we hear back. One source with knowledge of the situation, meanwhile, was insistent that the rape investigation was not the only factor in Enzo's release, regardless.

>The rest of the report largely outlines what has already been report, like some contradictory statements that made the case onerous to prosecute. There is, however, one note that could be nothing, but could also potentially contradict Enzo's narrative: A reference to an email exchange with a witness who "did deny any involvement in a sexual assault." When he appeared on Steve Austin's podcast last week, Enzo mentioned that he learned around Christmastime that a friend (implied to be Tyler Grosso's girlfriend Layla Shapiro) had gotten a vague email from "a person claiming to be an investigator" seeking "more information" about "a wrestler involved in a night," but was insistent that he knew nothing about it being a sexual assault investigation. Amore claims that his attorney followed up on the situation. It's entirely possible that the friend could have told him about the email while omitting details, though, or even that the "investigator" wasn't the Phoenix PD detective. We have reached out the Enzo's attorney to see if he can provide any further clarification and will update this article if we get a response.

>More than 30 minutes after it was supposed to start, the show finally opened with two local wrestlers, Chasyn Rance and Aaron Epic (real name Richard Velazquez), heading to the ring for a singles match. They were not announced to the crowd by name and the broadcast team on the Twitch stream kind of glossed over who they were, exclusively calling them “Chasyn” and “Epic.” That would be kind of conspicuous under normal circumstances, but in this case it was more than a little ominous, as it turned out that both wrestlers have checkered pasts: Rance is a registered sex offender, having copped a Nolo Contendere (no contest) plea to Florida’s equivalent to statutory rape, and text messages purporting to show Epic admitting to domestic abuse surfaced in 2014.

>Those details spread quickly on Twitter, albeit focusing more on Rance than Epic, given that Rance is better known, and also the one who was charged with and convicted of a crime. Google his name and an Orlando Sentinel article with the details of his case is the second result.

>This sort of revelation is often followed by arguments about offenders potentially being rehabilitated, but Rance’s public statements, none of which are very difficult to find online, suggest that he’s not that guy. In 2014, after Rance’s case was mentioned in a in a fan’s blog post about “wrestling with sins,” someone purporting to be the wrestler posted in the comment section. There, the person claiming to be Rance disputed facts of the case taken from the Sentinel article, which were themselves taken from the criminal complaint, implied that he could sue the blogger, and then made vague claims about “a setup to sue me for $1,000,000.” The commenter also added that “I spoke with the ‘victim’‘s [sic] father two days ago who told me I’m a good person and he loves me,” which gives some credibility to this actually being Rance. Per the complaint, the victim’s father was pro-Rance and largely estranged from his daughter prior to the arrest. A cannabis forum thread from 2013, of all things, starts with a member relating a story of going to the gym and meeting Rance, who he said talked about just having gotten off probation (which was actually the case) and claimed that he didn’t know the victim’s age—this despite his admission to knowing she was underage in a recorded phone call. In addition, two former friends of Rance told Deadspin that he had made semi-joking references to being into “all ages” if they had developed past puberty.

>Back in 2018, as the “CEO x NJPW” show went on last Friday, the best theory that anyone could come up with on Twitter about that opening match was that, given that Rance has a wrestling ring rental business, he was able to parlay that into a high profile booking. That type of thing isn’t unique to Rance, or even terribly rare. If a wrestler offers ring rental and/or use of their promoter’s license—the latter only applies in an athletic commission states, which Florida is not for wrestling—they often use it to get onto their customers’ shows. Still, it’s not as if Rance is the only person offering ring rental in central Florida, and being a registered sex offender is literally what he’s best known for within wrestling. Just as conspicuous as the lack of ring introductions that opened the show was CEO promoter Alex Jebailey bookending the show by, for no apparent reason, mentioning that they were using a brand new ring in his speech after the main event.

>Jebailey has said not a word publicly about about any of this, nor has he responded to either of two requests for comment sent to him for this story. Omega, for his part, started touching on what happened in responses to disappointed fans on Saturday morning. “Sorry you feel that way and are so quick to pass judgment on someone,” he wrote. “Looks like the disappointment goes both ways.” (A few minutes later, he clarified that “I meant the judgment you passed on me.”) After another response in which he continued to fault fans’ treatment of him, Omega tweeted a threaded statement, albeit in replies and not to most of his followers’ feeds:

“Here it is: I produced all matches from dark match #2 on. I gave the ring crew (also a wrestling school) carte Blanche to have our first dark. No entrances, no name graphics. And thus they had a match. I met Chasyn once in 2004 so his name was familiar. The other guy I’d never met. Regardless of their history or whatever, this crew of people were all very helpful in set up, tear down, and various odd jobs around the arena. I’d felt giving them the opportunity to have a dark match was the least I could do as a way to show appreciation.

Regardless of their history or whatever, this crew of people were all very helpful in set up, tear down, and various odd jobs around the arena. I’d felt giving them the opportunity to have a dark match was the least I could do as a way to show appreciation. I’m gutted that people feel betrayed by their involvement, but at no point did I feel I was working with criminals or anything of the sort. As I’d said earlier, they were nothing but polite and helpful throughout the entire experience.

I’ll know better for next time to only use those I’m absolutely familiar/comfortable with.”

Whoops, this >>6096595 was in response to this: >>6096587
you're just going to get autistic screeching about Bix by posting the link, here's Part 2 of his report:

>Omega’s emphasis on how “at no point did I feel I was working with criminals or anything of the sort” and the politeness of the ring crew rubbed some people the wrong way, and so several hours later, he tweeted another, more contrite statement/apology, which included an offer of refunds. To be fair, Omega is a very legitimate candidate for not knowing about Rance’s sex offender status—he’s lived in Japan close to full-time for about a decade and very rarely works in America, so it makes perfect sense that he’d only know Rance from when they worked on the same show in 2004. On the other hand, though, there’s his statement that “I’d allowed our ring crew (also a wrestling school) to participate in a dark match (minus graphics and music) as a show of appreciation for the hard work they’d done to help prepare our set for the show.” The only school that would be sending over Rance and Epic as part of a ring crew would be Team Vision Dojo, which Rance owns and where he and Epic are both instructors. It isn’t clear if Omega knew that or not, either. After all, of the two public-facing producers of the show it’s Jebailey and not Omega who is local; Jebailey has also previously rented rings for use in his fighting game tournaments.

>Later on Saturday, an Instagram post of Jebailey’s from CEO 2016 surfaced (https://instagram.com/p/BHGAZSyAxUB/), which showed him with Omega, Rance, and Japanese wrestler Michael Nakazawa. Jebailey’s caption read “Huge thank you to @KennyOmegamanX introducing me to @TeamVisionDojo who supplied the #CEO2016 wrestling ring!” Omega commented on Sunday in a thread started by Daily Dot esports morning editor/UK indie wrestling announcer Callum Leslie, saying that what Jebailey wrote two years ago wasn’t true. “There was no introduction, I believe Jebailey did the footwork on his own,” he wrote. “He’s been using rings for years—long before my time with CEO. Perhaps because it was his first ‘wrestling ring,’ he gave the guest wrestler the credit? I don’t IG and this is the first I’ve seen/heard of it.” As noted earlier, Jebailey has not responded to two separate requests for comment, one of which directly addressed the Instagram post and Omega’s comments about it. (NJPW also did not return a request for comment on this story.)

>In addition to the issues for Omega, there was a side effect to all of this: Rance becoming more widely known as a registered sex offender. He was already a well-known name within indie wrestling, but Omega’s star power made it a major story on numerous highly-trafficked wrestling news websites. It even hit some non-wrestling blogs, including one post that got tweeted out by alt-right vlogger/former Project Veritas member Laura Loomer. All the additional attention means that in the grand scheme of things, the appearance probably hurt Rance’s career more than anything else. Promoters now know that getting caught dealing with him will lead to negative attention, and thus is really not worth the hassle given that there are better wrestlers and other rings available. The high-profile spot in which Rance found himself, which probably would have helped most wrestlers’ careers, was more likely a huge hit to his career going forward.

>As for Omega and Jebailey, someone lied, either last week or two years ago, since there are two completely contradictory statements. We may never know which it was, but we know this much: NJPW brass trusted Omega, the face of their international expansion, to do a professional job putting together a show under their name when he had never run a show before. What he did with Rance and Epic may be common practice on the independent scene, but he ultimately failed his company by putting outside talent on a NJPW-branded event without doing even the minimum in terms of checking up on who they were. It all could have been avoided if he had considered that opening an “NJPW” show with two random indie wrestlers was not what that audience was looking for in the first place. He didn’t, and here we all are.

Well his information is on a the state sex offender registry for everyone to look up and see. https://offender.fdle.state.fl.us/offender/sops/offenderSearch.jsf

There are plenty of non-violent sex offenders out there, even people that became offenders because of public urination. Unfortunately it doesn’t matter the nature or their offense, once you’re on the registry you’re fucked.

The worst thing about the sex offender registry, besides people who don't deserve to be on it being on it, is the fact that any public criticism of the sex offender registry is just straight up verboten. If you're a bank robber, or a vandal, there's no registry for that. But a sex offense? Oh shit, son.

I knew a kid who got on it at 18, for sexting a 14 year old. Dude was skeevy, talking to girls that young at 18, but it was just a high school senior talking to a high school freshman.

>Deep South Wrestling was a WWE developmental territory from 2005 to 2007. It gained a negative reputation among anyone involved with it due to Bill DeMott (the head trainer of the territory) and the style of their product.
>To the unfamiliar, DeMott ran a high intensity boot camp style conditioning program that the wrestlers hated. He was seen as trying too hard to “break” the wrestlers and make them “pay dues” in an “old school” way to the point that trainees grew disgruntled. Some quit and others suffered injuries severe enough to require hospital visits because they were so fatigued before their in-ring lessons.
>DeMott was also criticized internally for being overly harsh verbally toward trainees, jumping on them for any mistakes. It got so bad that WWE brass in Stamford, Connecticut had cameras installed at the training facility so they could monitor his training sessions.
>Despite this, for whatever reason, the WWE office would back him up when talent complained.
>There were also problems with the owner, Jody Hamilton, but Johnny Ace protected him but only for a while.
>In August 2006, Simon Dean took over Tommy Dreamer's role of being in charge of WWE's developmental program. Dean wanted a trainer that he was more closely associated with, and so Bill DeMott was released in January 2007...officially speaking. According to Kenny Omega, it turned out that DeMott kept coming to DSW afterwards, but Jody Hamilton never told the office. Omega even mentioned that there was talks of breaking into Hamilton's office on the day DSW was getting shut down to see if his guns were there, and check if they were loaded.
>On April 2007, DSW talent was addressed by John Laurinaitis and Simon Dean. The talent was informed that the WWE office was not pleased with the DSW product, and that DSW was hereby closed for good. DSW talent had to assist with the removal of all WWE property from the building, and they were all very happy to do so. Before this, Hamilton was told by Laurinaitis that he was shutting them down and Hamilton told him his lawyers were going to talk to him, to which Laurinaitis said "fuck your lawyers" and that WWE had better ones. He then told Hamilton to stay in his office while he talked to DSW talent. Reports from Kenny Omega and Curt Hawkins confirm that John Laurinaitis was pissed off on the day DSW was shut down, as he didn't want to be involved with the territory anymore.
Despite this, WWE brought back DeMott, and well...that went about as badly as expected. Pic sorta related, he was one of the reasons DeMott left WWE for good (iirc, Bill "quit" because WWE wasn't willing to do any kind of severance pay that would come with releasing him)

Vibora was Judas Devlin
>On the 25th of February, Austin Draven had an interview with Vendetta Pro Radio and news came to light of a letter that Draven wrote to Human Resources about DeMott's behaviour. It outlined a lot of wrongdoing on DeMott's part, including racist and homophobic language, mocking another wrestler's death, referring to wrestler Joel Pettyfer (Oliver Gray) as "Joel Pedophile", telling students to kill themselves shortly after the trainees paid their condolences to Mike Graham (who had committed suicide) and more.

>The letter also outlined DeMott's acts of intentionally putting students at risk of injury, including Draven himself, Gary Jackson, Enzo Amore, Memo Montenegro, Brandon Traven, Alexander Rusev, Briley Pierce and Oliver Gray.

>Draven followed this with a second appearance on Vendetta Pro Radio where he revealed further details about DeMott's behaviour, including the fact that DeMott mocked Judas' letter after Talent Relations betrayed his trust about keeping it confidential. He also mentions that DeMott keeps a gun in his desk drawer and brings up that the strength and conditioning coach was sexually harassing the women but only Paige spoke up about it.

>Following this news, Trent Barreta posted "About fucking time." to Twitter, indicating he was aware of DeMott's actions and was pleased someone was coming forward with them.
iirc, this reveal opened a can of worms, with numerous other former developmental wrestlers revealing shit online about DeMott.

WHY WWE DIDN'T END UP ON ESPN, WHY WWE SPLIT RAW & SMACKDOWN AND MORE REVEALED
by Mike Johnson @ 6:01 PM on 7/9/2018

>Sports Business Daily revealed today that it was World Wrestling Entertainment’s call to split up Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live, setting the stage for the massive FOX TV deal that will bring the company over $1 billion starting October 2019, that ESPN had pursued a WWE TV deal and that Turner Broadcasting, the former home of WCW, was interested in WWE programming but was unable to act on that interest.

>An extensive article by John Ourand revealed how both WWE and UFC wrapped up their recent TV deals. You can read the entire article by clicking here.

>Highlights of the WWE side of the article included:

>*WWE brought in CAA to represent their interests in the TV negotiations after FOX executives visited a WWE TV taping in Los Angeles in the spring od 2017. During that visit, FOX Sports President Eric Shanks explained to Vince McMahon that there was concern about having to negotiate two different properties with the same person – WME-IMG’s Ari Emanuel, who was also working on locking in a new UFC TV deal (which eventually landed at ESPN). WME-IMG owns UFC, leading to WWE hiring CAA. It was noted that this led to some consternation between Emanuel and FOX, who's UFC TV deal was obviously in its last days.

>*ESPN was in the running for WWE and met with company executives Stephanie McMahon, Paul Levesque, Michelle Wilson and George Barrios at least four times over the course of the last year. Thefinal sticking point that prevented WWE from moving programming to ESPN was that with all of its current sports deals, it was impossible for the cable network to guarantee that WWE would be able to air 52 weeks a year in the same timeslot. One of the reasons WWE had left USA Network for a deal with Viacom in 2000 was Raw being preempted for sporting events like the U.S. Open.

>*According to the article, ESPN had also considered WWE for its ESPN+ streaming service, but that was considered competition to the WWE Network. UFC eventually landed on the ESPN+ platform.

>*Turner Broadcasting was approached by CAA about their interest in WWE programming but due to Time-Warner's then-ongoing merger with AT&T, it was unable to make a deal. Turner was interested in potentially acquiring Smackdown, but not Raw, but had their hands tied by the AT&T merger, which has since been completed. Time-Warner has since be renamed Warner Media.

>*With UFC obviously moving on after blowing off an offer to renew their existing deal at the same $200 million a year, FOX began to consider WWE due to its “consistently high ratings and passionate fan base” and began flirting with WWE before their exclusive window NBC Universal ran out, making it clear they were interested in speaking if and when that window ended. Even before that window ended, Levesque and McMahon had visited FOX for a “meet and greet.”

>*NBC Universal’s Bonnie Hammer personally led the negotiations with WWE to keep them in the family. WWE had been making $130 million per year for both Raw and Smackdown under the previous NBC deal. WWE’s deal included a clause that WWE has to give NBC a “take-it-or-leave it offer” before the end of the exclusive window.

>*WWE made the call to split Raw and Smackdown into separate entities, as opposed to one deal for everything under the WWE umbrella. The company's take-it-or-leave-it offer asked NBC for $265 million per year for Raw and $200 million per year for Smackdown, a 358% increase total from the previous deal. Hammer agreed to the terms for Raw but opted to pass on Smackdown, which placed that series on the open market. At that point, it could have landed on any others broadcast or cable outlet.

>*With the window of exclusivity with NBU expiring, WWE officials met with FOX in New York City at a meeting Rupert Murdoch personally attended. By the end of the day, they had locked in a deal for $205 million per year for Smackdown Live.

They're admitting that this time around it's a true split. Might even freeze rosters sans nxt call ups. They need to overhaul Smackdown if it's gonna be a network show. It certainly will be above Raw eventually, while Raw will be "Vince wrestling my show", Smackdown needs to cather to normies.

They're interested in spot or talk shows for SD. It will remain two hours which is a unlike raw.

High ratings means modern day tv ratings where only few shows get extremely high these days.

Thats more or less because of a declining viewership overall. People are slowly cord cutting. Raw might be high ratings, but it's because scope is getting tiny.

Why the fuck would they be suplexed into the same railing against the table? Cause its a work.

Why would them being suplexed into the railing and barely hitting the table which then hit Jim Ross and cause Jim Ross to FALL DOWN out of his chair? Cause its a work.

If an accident happened, why would some bro-fighter-turned-shitty-announcer come charge the ring, after pushing security away? All for pops because it's a work.

If Jim Ross was really in the hospital there would be less details about it and JR wouldn't have finished the show. Cause its a work.

Jim Ross can barely talk on a podcast, let alone announce, and ya'll think he has blown out lungs, broken ribs and he's still able to announce and live? Yah right. The workkkk is working.

if anything killed wooo (or at least slowed it down), it was when mods (specifically Lekta and Mintz, but also Celt on occasion) started permabanning people for making jokes or just for general banter that rubbed them the wrong way.

Sure you can get unbanned if you go into IRC (after googling "irc" and spending 10 minutes figuring out how to use it) and grovel to be unbanned, but I suspect many just couldn't be bothered.

And yes, before anyone says "well you just want shitposting 24/7" no, I know that many bans are justified here, but there have been a shocking amount of false positives and people banned for stuff that would have been par for the course on old /wooo/. Mintz issuing a permaban for someone saying "rent free" comes to mind as overstepping the mods.

4chin bans people too, but it's only permanent if you do something that actually breaks the law. Most bans are 3 days and it actually stops people from acting like fools. The 420chan system of issuing bans for life without warning is a retarded way to run an image board where people like to come and chat shit in a relaxed manner.

http://barnburner.ca/Articles/getArticle/48277
>Similar to WWE's multiple Royal Rumble events in 2018, the WWE is reportedly preparing to do the same thing for a bigger event within the next few years. According to sources at Barnburner, the WWE is planning on holding two WrestleMania events by 2020.

>Sources went on to tell Barnburner there isn't a definite name for the secondary event, but it will be very close to the Royal Rumble and Greatest Royal Rumble idea.

>The WWE's deal with the Fox network begins in the fall of 2019. By the time 2020 hits, Smackdown Live will acclimate to their new network. WWE NXT will reportedly air on Fox Sports One. With the global brand expanding, sources tell Barnburner the second WrestleMania could emanate from Saudi Arabia, London or even Australia. The WWE wants to have one in April and the second one in October.

>WWE fans in the United Kingdom continue to want a WrestleMania in London, after having very few pay-per-views entirely on their soil. NXT Takeover London was the last WWE special to appear there, and that took place in December of 2015. Prior to that, the U.K. famously hosted SummerSlam in 1992 at Wembley Stadium.

>In March, the WWE announced their return to MetLife Stadium in New York. WrestleMania 29 was held at MetLife Stadium, featuring the final WrestleMania event for CM Punk and his spectacular match against the Undertaker. John Cena also defeated the Rock for the WWE championship in the main event.

>At WWE's press conference in the spring, Ronda Rousey, among others, were showcased in an attempt to build hype for the big event in over a year's time. By simply taking a look at the roster right now, WWE officials have a big chance to make WrestleMania in 2019 a world-class show. That could include females headlining the show with Charlotte and Rousey.

>However, the story continues to circulate around having two WrestleManias within the next three years. Producing big shows such as that cost a lot of money. Vince McMahon announced the return of the XFL for 2020. The WWE is moving their new 'flagship show' to Fox in October of 2019.

>Big things are coming for World Wrestling Entertainment and producing two WrestleMania shows in one year is destined to be the climax.

I still think moving NXT from WWE Network to FS1 is a bad idea not just because it would cut down on each episode's runtime from 50 minutes to an hour down to around 42 minutes. Sure it would give WWE more ad revenue but would the viewership on FS1 be higher or lower than on the Network?

If anything more of those bans should be handed out. The mods had to clamp down at least a little because of the amount of people who just post bollocks like "rent free" as a response to everything they don't like, with nothing more and nothing less to accompany it. If only they'd ban the fuckers which have spammed soy non-fucking-stop for months on end now.
Rather than the mods driving people out for banning the rampant shitposters, I'd say it's the shitposters getting too much leniency which pushes people away. Being lenient was fine years ago where even shitposters would engage in discussion from time to time, but now it's a 60/40 chance of being overrun by fucking /pol/ memes and shitposting every time a thread goes beyond 15 posts.

>I'd say it's the shitposters getting too much leniency which pushes people away

I'd say you don't have a clue what you're talking about. What makes (made?) wooo work was the mix of good wrestling knowledge from around the world and banter. I have no problem with mods handing out temp 3 days bans to calm people down everynow and again, but banning people for life for saying a meme or whatever is ridiculous.

Nah you need to fuck off with your backseat modding. No one is objecting to people who are clearly derailing threads getting temp bans, but when mods are dishing out permabans to people making jokes or memes then it's going too far.

literally nothing wrong with temp banning people as normal policy that way, if mistakes are made it won't effect the board long term.

That's not how it works, dude. As the other guy said, bans, whether they're permanent or temporary will get evaded by dedicated shitposters.

Can we just go back to dirt sheet discussion? This is like the 314415161th time we had this discussion over moderation, and I'm seeing the same dumb narrative every time.

Nah
The board was wayyyyyyyyy more active in those days, shit posting or not. Then they dropped the forced anons and ppl started going into business for themselves making trips.

Then we went 'sfw'. Then we got moderated to death (banning ppl for wishing injury on wrestlers etc). It's funny that read't is wordfiltered yet that is what this place was striving to become.

Also to banning people for saying “kill yourself”
Reason for ban: dont just say that without some other joke text involved, that’s serious and we dont allow it” then people say it plenty following my ban and its fine and dandy. That day, when I got banned for jokingly saying “kill yourself” was the day I realized this board became fucking whack. SFW too, like, fuck off its a DRUG WEBSITE the name alone is barely SFW and some public of work wifis dont even allow browsing of it because the SITE ITSELF is classed as “drugs and pornography” so fuck off telling me this board is now SFW too

For all the talk about that place, /asp/ doesn't get a dirt sheet thread because nobody there can be bothered to subscribe to the Dave and post stuff up, not even the star ratings or radio shows. That's what you get on /wooo/. If anything I regret not doing the threads years ago. They have been a valuable resource although I always say if you like what you're seeing, give Dave and Bryan your money.

Also if you wanna keep on talking about /asp/ go do it on /420/ not here. This thread has just under a day's usage left before the new thread and I'd rather not want to see it locked early all because of people arguing about a shitty board that can't even be bothered to set up its own tube channel let alone its own dirt sheet thread.

NJPW To Be At Manga/Anime Convention CharaExpo USA in Fall 2018
http://lastwordonprowrestling.com/2018/07/07/njpw-to-be-at-charaexpo-usa/

>Recently appointed New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) President Harold Meij announced yesterday at the G1 Special press conference in San Francisco that NJPW is planning three more NJPW events this year, with two of them being Young Lions showcases. Meij announced the Young Lions dates as being November 10 and 11 in Anaheim, California. It would appear that the Young Lions dates will be showcases as part of a Japanese Manga, Anime, Gaming and Cosplay convention, CharaExpo USA, that is also run by Bushiroad (NJPW’s parent company).

>CharaExpo was created in 2015 and is usually based out of Singapore, but this year they are holding their first one in the US, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The eventbrite ticket site states “CharaExpo USA 2018 is a Japanese Manga, Anime, Games and Cosplay event that will feature activities like Live Performances by the famous talents, merchandise sales and TCG tournaments including, Cardfight!! Vanguard, Weiss Schwarz, Future Card Buddyfight and more!!”

>It won’t be the first time NJPW has co-produced wrestling events with CharaExpo – at the first one in 2015, New Japan legend Jushin “Thunder” Liger made an appearance, and the fans were treated to matches featuring the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, and Shinsuke Nakamura had matches.

>The addition of the Young Lions showcase to the CharaExpo USA convention follows on the successful pairing of NJPW at the CEO Gaming Convention last week for the CEO x NJPW event, that saw The Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi) face Tetsuya Naito and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi in the main event, that aired for free on Twitch. While NXT is going the rock and roll route, doing showcases at music festivals like Download in the UK and Aftershock in the US, New Japan is targeting perhaps a far more suitable demographic – that of fans of combat fighting video games and fans of Japanese pop culture like Manga and Anime – to help with their US expansion.

I just want to point out that the rest of 420chan is actually fun and makes me laugh on a regular basis. Been browsing this website for a decade now and /wooo/ is the only board that's constantly talking about how it's "dead" and how shitty everything is. It's also the only board that seems to have a much younger user base and a lot of people from other boards because it's wrestling. There is a thread on /b/ dedicated to butts and another thread where people are talking about if they should make a second butt thread. Somehow that is less shitposty then the stuff that goes on in /wooo/.

I can understand why the mods have to work a little harder when it comes to /wooo/. If you don't see the blatant hate/stupidity/shitposting that goes on here on a regular basis then you are probably a part of the problem.

>Paul Heyman could be back working with WWE in a backstage capacity, if their own internal documents are to be believed.

>Heyman is currently serving as the "advocate" for WWE Universal Champion, but that hasn't exactly kept him on television much these days. Lesnar instead has focused on his quest for another UFC Championship, appearing at UFC 226. It doesn't appear that this has prevented Paul Heyman from dipping his toes back in the WWE waters.

>Fightful.com was informed on Monday afternoon that the former ECW owner and Smackdown Live head writer Heyman was backstage at WWE's show in Boston.

>WWE had Paul Heyman listed on their production script as contributing to multiple segments on the show. He was listed alongside several writers, including Ryan Ward in putting together the opening live show of WWE Monday Night Raw that featured Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns' face-to-face backstage. In addition, Heyman was also listed for Bobby Lashley's "live shot" during segment 8, which aired after the Bo Dallas vs. Matt Hardy match.

>Heyman was listed under "Road" which is a road writer, along with several others. There was also a name under "home." When asked for clarity about this term from a person familiar with it, they said "writers at home will be sent assignments to write scripts for an interview or backstage altercation and then fire it back to their point person in the trenches."

>Fightful.com reached out to both WWE and Paul Heyman for comment or confirmation on the matter, but were told that Heyman would rather not comment, and WWE opted to instead ask me about the document as opposed to addressing the question, with one source telling me it could have been an error.

>In 2009, WWE Magazine posted a letter from a fan named Dylan Miley who said his girlfriend broke up with him because he attended ECW’s One Night Stand pay per view in New York City in 2005 instead of being with her for her birthday. Dylan Miley would later become known as ‘Lars Sullivan’ in WWE’s NXT brand.

All he wants is people to pay attention to him.
Framing it as some kind of crusade against le safe space just speaks volumes about that person's delusional mindset.
It's just some sad lonely person who wants any kind of human interaction at all.
That's all that trolling really is. The product of a broken damaged mind desperately seeking some semblance of validation and human contact.

It's sad to see the board in the state it's in. A few years ago it was nothing like this. Not saying anything about the mods or bans or anything because I really don't know the facts on that, but as far as it falling "under attack" I'm wondering what you're referring to. Was it just after the election? Not to bring politics into this but after the election inageboards all over the internet were bombarded with constant spamming of supporters bringing up politics/hate speech at every corner and screaming at anyone who didn't agree. Eventually folks just up and left. Did this happen with /wooo/? Because I've noticed quite a bit of political spam/incel behavior on here over the past year or so

There's a combination of people who like to insert politics in everything..although this is nowhere near as bad as it is certain 4chin boards like tv and sp where almost every thread gets derailed with stormfront-tier race baiting.

There's also the "no fun allowed types" who seem to have come to the board in the last few years and don't really understand 420chan humour or have any concept of irony. They take everything at face value and can be seen calling for people to be banned. Quite often they might try to derail a thread they don't like, which usually works as the mods here will just lock it rather than giving warnings or tempbans to the derailers.

>Bret Hart has always been vocal about his desire to see his brother, Owen Hart, get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and recently talked about it on the 'In This Corner' podcast. Here is some of what Bret said:

>"I think Martha, Owen's widow, she's a very obtuse, square-headed person. I think she's done more to erase my brother Owen's memory than she ever did to remember him. I think it really bothers me that the fans that loved Owen so much didn't get a chance to remember him. You do these kind of things for people are here–left to remember them. I mean Owen, it would never matter to him if he was in the Hall Of Fame, but I think that you know it would mean a lot to different family members in my family. I know Mark Henry as an example, gave a strong speech or talk this year about getting Owen into the Hall Of Fame and I totally agree,"

>This led to Martha issuing the following statement on the comments made by Bret and her decision to not let Owen be inducted (via the Digital Journal):

>"The suggestion by Bret Hart that I am "erasing" the memory of my late husband, Owen Hart, is reckless, irresponsible, and clearly untrue.

>Bret's comments are rooted in the fact that I have steadfastly refused to work with the WWE to exploit Owen's image for commercial gain. Owen was an incredible entertainer and I know that his many fans around the world enjoyed his wrestling career immensely. I encourage them to continue to do so. But I am firm in my belief that the WWE was responsible for Owen's death. As a result, I cannot and will not support any efforts by the WWE to profit from Owen's memory.

>Instead, I, my son Oje and daughter Athena have worked tirelessly to honor Owen through the good works of The Owen Hart Foundation, which has exceeded $4 million in gift giving and contributions toward scholarships, home owner bursaries, and other special projects that have greatly improved the lives of so many in Canada and around the world. We have always believed that this is the most fitting public tribute to a man of profound integrity; a wonderful human being who just happened to wrestle. I know that Owen would be very proud of the tremendous accomplishments the Foundation has achieved in his name.

>Bret Hart's comments are disrespectful and cruel. It is disappointing that so many in the media have chosen to report them without seeking my perspective. Whatever Bret may believe, the fact is that, far from "erasing" Owen's memory, I have devoted the last 20 years to celebrating his life in a very public way. I can think of very few people who have been remembered so glowingly by their spouse"

And yet, he's right that Owen's being forgotten. The generation that knew him, watched him, are getting old. Many aren't fans of wrestling anymore. Young fans have no idea who he is.

>Fuck Martha for not wanting WWE to make money of off his death

Martha has done nothing wrong, there have been plenty of guys not in the HoF that fans love and will remember and there are plenty that will ever be in the HoF but fans will still remember them.
