Yo, long shot, been searching for this graphic novel about ten years now I found on another *chan's /co/.

What little I can remember revolves around two characters in the book, one a teenager that played guitar and another that was an artist. The story revolved around the invasion of Earth by Hell. The kid played guitar one night and ended up losing track of time, having spent all night playing and accidentally played the exact song that opened the gates of hell.

The artist was lauded as discovering a new, indescribable color that was named something like Ultra Cyan or something along those lines and making a paint out of it. The paint was actually her blood her her tears or something and it helped to bring the army of hell through.

The story continued along with the invasion and society falling, the guitar playing teenager and the artist manging to meet up somehow with a bunch of survivors but they ended up getting caught by the forces of hell.

The closing scene of the novel was one of the demon generals and the teenager standing atop some sort of structure and the general giving the teenager a guitar made of flesh and bone and saying that the teen was now the Prince of Hell and making him play the new guitar to keep the invasion going.

I can't remember the new, I remember the art was really great, and I know it was a graphic novel and not a series or anything. Anyone be of help? I'd love to find that book again, it was really solid and had this dark and foreboding atmosphere.

Pic unrelated.

Athene told me she smells battle in a comics world. I'm just being the messenger, (Hermes here) Athene wants tobe in your story
As well, you may need Saint Stanislaus, the writer who was a martyr in battle

Throwing in Alan Moore's Whatever Happened To The Man of Tomorrow, Max Landis' (trust me pls) American Alien and Joe Kelly's What's So Funny About Truth Justice & The American Way to the above list. Granted i haven't actually read the latter, just seen the animated adaptation, but it felt like a great Superman story thematically.
Come to think of it, guest appearances in solo issues of other series might make for some of the best Superman stories. Since they can treat him like the paragon he is. I recommend the final issue of All-Star Section 8. It's by notorious cape-hating edgemeister Garth Ennis, yet he apparently has a soft spot for Supes and consistently portrays him rather flatteringly whenever he gets the chance. Each issue features a different DC hero/trope that gets mercilessly riffed-on and satirized. Except for the final issue, where Supes shows up, and is portrayed with utmost serenity & respect.
Section 8 is a long-time-coming sequel to Ennis & his artist buddy's mid-90s DC comic Hitman, which also takes the everloving piss out of superheroes as a concept except for one Superman issue that's genuinely heartfelt. Recommend that too, tho I can't remember the issue number. Google "Ennis Hitman Superman". Also I recently found some kinda animal-charity inter-promotional one-shot DC did in the 90s written by Ennis' fellow infamous edgemancer Mark Millar. Who ALSO tells a really kind, uncharacteristic, inspirational Supes story. These 2 writers have written comics where pedophilic serial killers win and bulldogs rape small Indian boys yet there's something about this one character that brings out the best in them as people.

Unfortunately the next issues of Titans so far just involves pointless drama. And with Raven being disconnected from her soul self and being reduced to a powerless/emotionless husk of her former self she can now replace Miss Martian as the useless reserve.

Why do Comics need Ads in them?

Why do so many comics come without ads
while others are riddled with huge distracting, full-page-ads, in the middle of the comics!

...and people asky why cleaned comic-scans exist!

Worst thing is, you can't see if there are ads in the comic-books, since most are sold sealed nowadays!

They are written like

Slapstick instead of an epic tale,
stupid and clumsy characters instead of well written antagonists like Irenicus.

I'm a new fan of H. P. Lovecraft and have read some of his stuff and are looking for more comics inspired by his universe.
Recently read The Courtyard by Alan Moore which I enjoyed a lot.

That's weird, just a few days ago I went to his Wikipedia article, thought "what an odd fellow, thought he was dead" and now he dies.

This hasn't happened since Bob Hoskins died at literally the exact time I was watching the SMB movie.
