Okay, I always despised anime (except BERSERK) but recently, at the age of 32, I realized it's awesome to watch when stoned.

Recommend me some good anime to watch while high.

I wouldn't really call things like Samurai Champloo and Vinland saga "stoner anime" but I'm glad you're getting into it OP. Samurai Champloo is badass and I've been enjoying Vinland Saga myself.

Personally, my favorite stuff to watch high is the more colorful and wacky moe shit. Show by Rock kinda vibes.

You may enjoy Black Lagoon.

And Gantz. That's a local stoner anime thanks to do these guys look high to you.

Spacy Dandy is definitely a stoner anime. I agree with Cyan, Samueai Champloo is another good one. TENGEN Toppa gurren Lagaan is another one. JOJO's Bizaree Adventure is also another really good one.
The others you recommended arent really stoner anime. They're good anime just not what OP asked for.

Yeah I know, that's why a lot of y suggestions are just based off how they make me feel if I watch them while stoned. And also because OP is dipping his toes into the anime pool. Honestly, I love to watch anime in general stoned, mostly old animated classics and shonen punch-em-ups, riiiiiight before CGI started to become really obvious and setting the new standard

you don't "despise anime", you just learned what anime you like. Anime is a medium, it's like saying "I hate music". There's music you like, music you don't like, and music you've never heard and can't comprehend. You probably just had an idea in your mind of what "anime" is without realising that there is a lot to love and a lot to hate. That being said, I haven't checked out the thread but I would for the most part recommend old classics to test what you can tolerate. Cowboy Bebop (which came before Champloo, made by the same people), Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll, YuYu Hakusho, classic Dragonball (which I thought was a fantastic anime to smoke to). Bit of a basic bitch list there but if you enjoy them it's a solid foundation to build off.
