What type of Manime's do you guys like?

I've always been a big Fist Of North Star guy

I checked the first one and a half arcs of the FotNS anime, started to kinda get annoyed with it (the atatatatata:s and lil girl screaming KEEEEN started to kinda drift together into a vague mess of just those two things). Started reading the manga now though, seems more my style.

LotGH fucking saved my soul when I was having a long deep bout of depression.
Was the only thing keeping me kinda stoked about life, watched some eps every day.
First anime of that length I watched too, was a blessing that it just continued on and on, but never feeling like it stretched out anything. It just kept happening, and goddamn it's seldom anime makes me cry, but it did. It'll always have a precious place in my heart. I feel sorry for those that check out the modern version instead, it seems to really miss that heartfelt honest touch.

Gotta report back.
Manga North Star is so much less filler than the Anime.
Gets right to the point with everything.
Can really recommend if you found the anime a bit longwinded with the extra toppings of small fry fights.

Small fry fights is the reason why I watch Fist of the North star. They get comedic and self aware by the end of the first season. I love voice acting of the anime and the bandits especially. It's too bad you didn't like it.

Yeah, they do. I guess it's about what you want in your media, I like compact efficient things that don't repeat themselves too much. If you have to build up a joke through that much repetition rather than it being a chain of things leading to something else I don't like it. I've nothing against anybody that likes that stuff though, I do like music like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yjVWxHGRGk so I can kinda grok the appeal. Just don't want it in my shows.

If you're still intrested in Mananimes and the like, you could always get into Delinquent manga. They're really good. I can suggest a place to find them if you cant do it anywhere.

Delinq-stuff is so good. Especially humor ones. It's my jam. I was always such a calm lawful neutral growing up so it's fun with all the macho rowdiness.
Loads of stuff I hadn't heard of before in that img, appreciate it!

At least, the writers didn't do a tournament arc but those are the best melee fights ever. Even hired irl fight-choreographers for those screens.
