With the important caveat that those 24-or-less episodes make up a complete story. I hate it when I expect an anime to have an ending, but then it ends on a cliffhanger in order to try to get you to read the manga.

I haven't watched much anime lately but iirc the last show I watched was "Shiki"(22 eps). It's definitely worth your time imo, especially if you like horror.

At the moment for me, Demon Slayer or Kimetsu no Yaiba. There's a lot of classics with only 26 episodes plus maybe a movie or OVA, but even the opening and ending are watchable. It's not soo 2deep4u, but the animation is very beautiful, and many of the characters will stay with you, even the bad guys. If the movie still counts under 30 episodes, it's hands down the best anime movie from a series I've watched, because anime movies from series usually suck ass.

Also, I will never forget episode 19.
