A lot of people watched that re-release of season 1 with movie bits and shit that was in way higher quality. It's the only re-zero I watched and couldn't switch from that to season 2. Seeing how unimpressed most people are with S2, I probably won't revisit it either.

I mean it IS zany and is at least 5% fan service (counting that last part between the obvious characters).

S2 is slow but worth it. I would say that it does take awhile with Emilia and the trials, but they are kind of essential to her character development. I would say for ongoing it would be Dr.Stone and World Trigger. But for oldschool classics it would be City Hunter and Inuyasha. Only because i heard it made a comeback recently and i kept hearing about how popular it was back in the day but figure i would watch it now.

Mushoku Tensei Is just another typical Isekai but its better written than most power fantasies out there. It's a little different because there is a lot of focus on the relationship between the protagonist and his father. There is no harem or anything. Just a father and his son. It's comfy

It looks like season 2 will be different though.

I read it. It was a bit of a shock. It almost feels like when a manga gets axed and the author has to wrap up the ending in a single chapter. Just nothing made sense, all the characters were acting out of character, and there are still so many plotholes. I dont get it. I honestly dont think the author wanted, because it completely betrays the seriousness of the manga that he worked hard to establish.

Maybe he was just done with the series and hadn’t really thought of where it should go after a certain point.

So things from this season, I've been watching Wet Egg Pu Wonder Egg Priority, which has been a real treat, excited to catch up on the last episode!

Also, yeah, I'm a Spider, So What... I'm not really huge on isekai but my gf suggested we watch it together and it's honestly pretty cute. I love Kumoko's VA (I guess she's a meme but I don't know the context??), but I don't care about the humies at all, I'm honestly hoping that Kumoko ends up being the Big Bad referenced in the human arc and fucks their shit up for bullying her in their past lives or something, idk lolz.

I've watched a few episodes of Otherside Picnic so far, and I like it tbh, though I don't know if I could recommend it per se. It just has that kinda /spooky/ creepypasta feel to me, even if the art isn't super impressive and the yuri-baiting doesn't seem like it's going to break its holding pattern any time soon.

From not-this-season, finally catching up on Pani Poni Dash, which is, really fun, maho~! Definitely some moe trash elements to it but the plots are original and engaging and the cast is fun :3

As far as this season goes, there's only a select shows I'm watching, most are from the previous season.

Mushoku Tensei second season should be starting in July, and while the first season kinda lost it's way in the last episode, I've been told by Light Novel readers that the story gets a lot better and I should stick around.

Slime diaries is a nice show to relax too. After the heavy events in the second season, I welcome all the extra content we get for the characters on the show. But maybe. I'm not sure how long that will last though. I wouldn't want an entire season just for that but since the artstyle has drastically changed, it might just be so.

Been waiting for a long time for Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san. Picked up this series way before when it was just still images, and honestly I prefer when Nagatoro was more of a psychopath than an bully, but I can understand you cant really show that stuff on anime incase someone stupid doesn't adapt her behavior. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality. The focus is mostly on her VA which she does a decent job of.

Slime Taoshite 300-nen is my guilty Isekai of this season. It's just about an immortal witch who just wants to be left alone. It's not funny, the animation is subpar, and the voice acting is meh, but I still kinda like it for the tone it sets.

I saw the Season 3 last year and liked it very much (though not as great as the OG bands) but I haven’t watched the Stars!! Season 4 yet surprisingly.

There is a new Non Non Biyori too, which I saw the first episode of.

Mostly I just don’t have any internet other than my phone and it’s not as fun to watch on the tiny screen. I’m excited for the day I can catch up on all the wonderful shows happening.

Ahh I messed up. I didn't realize there was a season 3. I jumped straight in Stars by mistake. It was a good season though, and it didnt feel out of place. I still kinda felt like the OG bands were getting in the way.

I wish the bands were just left to their own devices, but the OG bands always acted like "Senpais" that nothing they ever did felt like it was their own decision.

Still, that was really the only thing I had an issue with. Overall it was a good fun season with good music.

Never watched Non Non Biyori. I'll pick it up soon

The first half of ReZero season 2 is pretty boring for sure, but the 2nd half is great.
I really liked the conclusion of the stoey, the action was great to.

I'm currently watching many series, and the majority are pretty good. Was hoping to see a sequel to Prison School, since many anime series are getting sequels after It's 5-10 years of release, Highschool of The Dead sequel would've been good too.

Just started watching Eat-Man after finishing the manga like a week ago. Normally, I wouldn't watch the anime of something that I read, but the first season is completely original content and I guess pretty different from the manga in tone. Having only watched the first episode, I can't really speak to t the tone, but it was in fact a brand-new situation. The second season, however, is straight adapting stories from the manga and I guess I'll watch that since I will have watched the first season anyway. The manga scanlations were so bad that maybe it'll be like experiencing it all over again.

Bit the bullet and finally watched Demon Slayer/Kimetsu no Yaiba (English dubbed) and I liked it. Kinda reminded me of Inuyasha mixed with a little Bleach. Hell, Muzan was basically a watered down Naraku. Watched the movie too and Rengoku became my favorite character, still is even though he's dead.
