I like the look of this and wondering if any one has done anything similar
It uses different methods than I'm used to like pre exhausting your muscles with ISO exercises then doing your compounds.

Depending on how it goes I may only do one leg day then go to some kickboxing circuit class (just to mix up what I do) do a lot of squats lunges and rupees there any way.

I've done chest and back day and it feels like a good new method.

I'm seeing how It's going to work.
Hit the ISO exercises while your fresh and you really feel that concentration in the muscles more compared to the compound exercises.
because your muscles are fatigued afterwards you feel your muscles working harder than normal.

Combining this with the keto diet so I'll see how it g ones I til the end of the year

I've been weight lifting properly for a little over a year now, and I've seen quite a decent body transformation thus far. Up until 2 months ago I was training as follows:

Day 1. Triceps / Chest
Day 2. Biceps / Back
Day 3. Legs
Day 4. Rest

And then I would repeat. However my arms seem to be lacking so I changed it up to
Day 1. Chest / Triceps / Biceps
Day 2. Back / Legs / Shoulders
Day 3. Rest

Then repeat from there, and I have seen an increase in arm muscle mass. However my back is tough to work on. When I exercise my back, I have 2 issues. Firstly if I attempt decent squats or barbell rows, I have lower back pain for days or weeks after. The kind of pain that extends down the legs, it sucks. But even if I work with things like lat pull downs or anything else, I feel it too much in my forearms. I know this is bad form and I can't active my back muscles that well. My lats are widening quite nicely, but as far as bulky uncle mass goes, my chest is way more developed than my back. Any tips?

I meant deadlift not squats btw.

Anyway I have only ever had upper leg pain from my lower back twice. For some reference here on how neglected my back is after a year of training, I would deadlift 40KGs for reps. For barbell rows I would do 20-30KGs. I did some rows yesterday and today I have pretty much no back pain, so I do think it is a combination of poor form and having a weak lower back. Also when I was growing up, i worked with my dad in manual labour now and then, and I think I lifted things with crappy form then too, I was just a kid so..

You can do pressing movements 2-3x a week

you can train legs 2-3x a week

you essentially increased your frequency and noticed it's benefit.

While your body CAN handle 2-3x like I said above, you need to ease into it.

Also, I have novices start at that, but at light weight.

Doing bro splits is bad because of the fact that your muscle recovers in 48-72 hours, essentially making every hour after 72 a time in which you should be hitting that muscle and the muscle gets weaker.

there's also tonnes of research behidn hitting rowing and pressing in the same session, hitting full body every session...the possibilities to push you are endless and the brosplit is literally the bottom of the barrel.

tl;dr- get on starting strength and get strong

Also if you have pain from deadlifts, squats, barbell rows - it is either the weight that makes oyur technique improper or just improper techinque regardless of the weight

If you don't know what "bracing" is, probably start there.

Look up "starting strength" and see the "how to X" videos or hire a trainer.

Honestly if you're trying this hard to lose weight I think you should just talk with your doctor and do a full on medically supervised water fast. It will be easier eating nothing rather than eating 600 calories a day once you make it past the first three days.

Is it a good idea/safe to try and work out when I can't actually eat anything solid? I literally made the decision two days ago to get back on healthy eating and exercising with the intention of bulking/strengthening enough to give me the confidence/incentive to finally start going to the gym, but then after one day of that some creep outside a bar smacked me in the jaw leaving me unable to chew solid food.

I've been drinking soup and protein shakes with added fruit, would it be wise to try and keep up with exercise or would I just be doing unnecessary damage?

I hate my life

I been considering taking fighting to the next level by joining a boxing gym then later wanting to chase MMA

What are some insightful advice do you fellow fighters have to offer like on diet, work outs, drills, cardio, scheduling, mentality, discipline.

I have experience on fighting but the main things I struggle on is self discipline, diet and I'm concerned about scheduling also due to having a job. What are good ways to combat lack of self discipline and unorganized diet.

What role does weight lifting play also and what kind of weight lifting should I be doing. I have so many questions so please just lay down any advice thanks

Let's talk about it. Do you do your own? If not, what programs have you tried? Also if you want to share some links, feel free.

I'll start; I'm currently trying to deadlift 500 pounds conventionally. I use straps at very maximal weights. My last max attempt was about 2 months ago and I lifted 445. I used Ed Coan's deadlift template which I'll post here:

http://tsampa.org/training/scripts/coan_phillipi_deadlift/

I had put on a little over 50 pounds onto my deadlift with this program in 10 weeks.

Currently I'm on week 8 of Layne Norton's PH3 program and I've seen big increases in not just my deadlift but also my bench, squat, and overall physique.

https://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/ph3-layne-norton-power-and-hypertrophy-trainer.html

I just did a rep test and the program calculated my estimated 1rm on deadlift should be somewhere around 470 at the moment. Depending on how much I'm able to pull at the completion of the program, I'm either going to continue trying to reach my goal of a 500 pound deadlift, start trying to go for a totally raw 500 pound deadlift (no straps), or possibly branch off into some Olympic lifting.

So that's me, show me what you got, /ana/

Sorry if this one gets posted a lot I couldnt find anything on it..

Looking to start my first dbol only cycle (25mg daily) i've been told I should half these and do one part in the morning and the second at night.. is this correct?

I have enough supply to last me 30 days then ill be taking nolvadex and clomid as part of my PCT for about 4 weeks (as well as fish oil capsules throughout both cycles)

question is, what does of both nolva and clomid should I be looking at to get my body back to normal? i've had a look around and cant get a straight response on this one..

thanks!

So, I have bipolar II disorder and its gotten to the point where my life is in shambles. Unemployable, mind is mush, etc. The last few days I've been taking klonopin (Dr. prescribed) and with my other meds, because I was hitting a point where I couldn't take the stress anymore. I really feel like I can function in the world like this with this seroquel/klonopin combo The unfortunate part about that, is the addictive nature of klonopin. I'm certainly not trying to get physically addicted, and I have some ideas on how I will be able to medicate myself properly.

Daily, I take celexa and seroquel. The klonopin with the seroquel seemed to stop all paranoid/extreme/self-flaggelating thoughts when taken. The downside I noticed was increased aggressiveness (I was being way rude to people that were on my team, playing badly, in Overwatch)

I plan to use CBD and kratom on days where I am not using any klonpin, which would ideally be very rarely. CBD has been known to potentiate klonopin, so to lower the risk of addiction, lower doses can be used in conjuncrion with CBD.

I know of other herbs and compounds I want to use: Skullcap, Rose Hips, Green Tea, Chammomile, Kava Kava, Lemon Balm... I know there's a ton more

Can anyone suggest any potential tools I could have missed out on?

Any experience reports using these types of herbs/compounds for bipolar hypomania or just general anxiety in the past? Please share!!!

Sup /ana/

I figured 420chan would be the best place to get some advice.

I'm fat. For the first time in my life. I'm uncomfortable, insecure, and embarrassed to be in pictures. Most of my life I was ~150 pounds (6'1) then growing into my adult body I hit 180, and was happy and looked filled out. Now I'm at 220 and I legit feel fucking gross. My weight has been pretty steady for a year or so.

I have an eating problem. I was in a high stress job for a couple years and ate a ton of really fucking awful food. I kind of got lazy, gave up, and ate whatever I want whenever I want (no fast food, no soda, just lots of garbage.)

I'm lazy. I'm looking for a short term solution to cutting calories. I'm actually looking to cheat. I'm curious if there are any weight loss pills that work. Whether they speed up metabolism, curb appetite, I don't care. I have 3 bottles of hydroxycut which I'm 99% sure are bullshit, but I don't know.

Short of amphetamines, are there any legal/illegal pills that work? Any hacks to stop being a fat fuck? I've tried eating less in the past by slowly cutting portions, snacks, replacing meals, etc etc etc and I always suck.

stack DNP and Yohimbine everyday for 4 weeks.
DNP at 150-300mg ED and Yohimbine at 10-20mg ED.
Take the DNP in the morning and the yohimbine preworkout on days you do workout and in the morning with the DNP on days you don't train.

Make sure to do plenty of cardio and that you actually COUNT your calories and eat at a deficit.

If you have a head cold then you're not super sick. Light exercise is good for you. Going all out will be bad but even getting a little warm doing it will be good.

If you have "below the neck" symptoms don't though. Take it easy if you are sore, have breathing problems etc.

Obviously going to the gym and sneezing on everything is still bad.

A little exercise is actually good when you're sick as it gets the blood flowing and kicks your immune responses into higher gear. However if you have a fever you should definitely just rest, and even if you don't keep it light. Can't imagine you'll be huffing and puffing if you're just mowing the lawn and it sounds like you've gotten over the worst of it so I'm sure it's fine
