Tried some clean & jerk, decided to stop it, since my back is kinda of hurting and it would be stupid to try more and just hurt myself, didn't do squats because of it.
Did some paused bench and dips through, felt fucking good.

First day back after dealing with an awful cold, everything sucks. Cardio sucked, squats and dl's had to deload, everything sucked-- except for pull ups and plank. Those were actually pretty decent. And I've got a race this weekend. Yay.

So much soft tissue work today I feel like a piece of tenderized beef, but it's better than being all knots. Calf smash, barbell smash, three-sector work on my quads and calves, lacrosse ball trigger points on my shoulders and pecs, banded hamstring stretches, banded lat stretches...

But holy fuck did it feel amazing afterwards. Dips, ass-to-grass pause squats and RDLs and pull-downs. GOD DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN

Ran my first mud run ever, after training like mad for the past five months. I have never felt more alive. I feel awesome and sad at the same time, because I had so much fun and now it's over. But that's fine, because Spartan Race is coming up in three months. A whole new race to train for! A harder race! FUCK YES, GONNA OWN THIS!

Attempting to correct some asymmetrical tension in my hip flexors, and found that my right Tensor Fascia Latae is waaaaaaay too tight. So I pushed leg day back to tomorrow so I can start to do soft tissue work on it and start to stretch it out. Most of the stretches were a little interesting, but...

SOOOO, im taking 30mgs vyvanse every morning now, and im losing weight because of the lack of hunger, thing is, im getting stronger, last week i failed at a lighter weight than today on the OHP, i was also able to do more pull ups, im feeling way stronger overall on this week i did vyvanse everyday.

Is this because of it? Because honestly, i take it early in the morning, and even through i worked out at night today, i was still noticeably stronger.

Re-training my running gait, and my right side is incredibly tight. Not so tight that I've developed a cross-step, but I'm apparently pretty close so it's a good thing I'm correcting it now. Downside: cardio isn't actually "cardio" because I have to deliberately place every step to widen my stance. Upside: SLED PUSH AND PULLS!

It's annoying and my right leg all the way from my TFL down to my Achilles is sore, but I'm gonna fix that gait!

On top of it, I've also decided to start getting some sun because I've become super pale since leaving my last job, got 40 bucks doing a ton of yardwork for a newley-wed couple the just moved in down the street, even though it was only abut an hour and a half of work. Holy fucking shit, i swear to god i almost hit some fucker in the face today at the gym.

Was doing behind the neck press, with the proper barbell, in the proper area, where i talked already with the instructors, that i can drop the weights if i need to, because its the area for that.

And then that one manlet fucker comes after i failed my last and had to drop it, that i was being to noisy and shouldn't be doing that, i told him it was the right area, that i wasn't doing damage to anything, and he pointed to some cracks in the ground, in another fucking area, that were caused by people who dropped the dumbells, where the grounds wasn't made for the impact, i told him i wasn't the one who made that, and he just kept telling me i was wrong everytime i tried to defend myself, so i dunno why, i called him a fucking hipertrophy monkey, didn't know where that even came from. He made that face that pretended he didn't hear it, and leaved.

I got so mad i was able to add 10kgs to my behind the neck snatch.

Tempo RDLs are tougher because that's where you find out your grip strength aint shit, and swapping to alternating grip doesn't make things better.

Ground out my 4x10s, then split squats, side lunges, and pushing the sled around 5 times to end the day.

NOW I can chow down on some edibles.

Back to being active 4x a week ish now

Biked on the trainer for 40 minutes yesterday, my speed and power meter didn't read for some reason so all I got was heart rate and cadence lolz

Today I did some pullups as well as SLDL, BB rows, light chest work and some calves

If people are reading this, whats your calve routine like? My knees are a bit broken so loading up weights on my back or on the head of the quad are no goes, atm I do bodyweight calve raises for 15-18 reps and 5 sets. I noticed that using bicycling shoes and getting the special pedals allows me to use my hams and calves soooooo much more while biking, that alone and sprints on the bike allowed for 2 inches of growth in the past two months.

Reverse banded squats going up to 6 reps at 180 (20 pounds heavier than I normally squat unassisted), then right into two sets of 15 at 115 with a shorter than normal rest period. Then lunges. It's a fun way to work on coming up out of the hole AND you get to enjoy the unique feeling of jumping between two stabilization mechanics. Starting to feel the soreness already. Glorious.

Today is one of those days i focus on arms and take it lightly, im feeling positively strange, like the post workout glow is really fucking stronger right now, to the point it feels like i took some high dose of amphetamines, but im just feeling the euphoria, this isn't normal, and should scare me, but dammit if im not liking it.

I feel high as fuck after half an hour of high intensity cardio. Which is what I did about 30 minutes ago. My weights progress has stalled but I'm losing weight pretty quickly right now so just stalling is fine for now. Aiming to be a couple of KGs under my target weight going into August. It's going to be a fun month.

FMS and body composition today, turns out my score went DOWN because my calves, hamstrings and pecs are being cast-iron bitches. So I've got to beat them into submission to loosen them up.

But the good news is that my body weight has stabilized, my lean mass has gone up and my body fat has gone down to nearly half of what it was when I started going to the gym two years ago.

Numbers don't lie, and even though I may feel like I look like the guy in the pic, I have cold, hard proof that I'm not. Can't buy these SLAYER, mane.

Did my usual upper body routine today but I noticed something. My strength gains are up and so are my size. Ive been trying to lose weight for the past few months and did well at it (60lbs in 6 months) and now im seeing strength come back (and stick) and size come back (and stick).

I feel like I passed some kind of tipping point.

Thanks ana

I usually don't do these things but fuck it. I've got a funny one for ya

Routine for anyone who cares today was
Flat bench dumbbell flyes
OHP
Squatz
Calf raises (one day you'll be a full grown cow lil guy, I promise)
Bent over rows
Hammer curls
Preacher curls
Shrugs

I live on a small army installation and its a free gym so no complains there, but its tiny as fuck. At least there's an aux cord to some quality speakers. Anyways, 4 douchey firemen are literally just jogging around the tiny room, doing random single sets of bullshit with babby weights, and constantly bantering loud as fuck. They brought some old dude with them too, probably some sort of fireman himself. They're playing the shittiest fuckin buttrock pandora station possible over the speakers, Nickelback tier shit. Overall just about the most obnoxious gym experience possible

Whatever dude, I keep to myself. Politely ask to get through to another area if I need to, politely ask if they're using something I need to use. They don't give me a hard time or anything, although at one point the old guy tells me I shouldn't use a particular barbell cause theres something wrong with it which I know is bullshit cause I've been using this barbell everyday so I just say thanks and use it anyway.

Many bantz and non lifting related shenanigans later they finally leave, and I am free to plug in my own music and lift alone, in peace. I just stick her on shuffle and enjoy myself to some good ol Death Grips, Alexisonfire, you know, the classics. But then in the middle of my curls, fucking Joyce Manor - Falling in Love Again ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJNv0UGfLkg ) comes on. As soon as the opening bassline starts, I know whats gonna happen here. Its clear as day, but I do nothing to stop it.

I've been going through some shit, and this song always does it. I drop the dumbbells and just start crying. I'm screaming a little bit, its all good bro. I'm alone, only god is here to witness this moment of anguish. I curl through the tears, the extra endorphins fuel my pump.

By time I'm walking out of this little hole in the wall gym, I can't fully describe how I feel. Lifting while crying your eyes out is probably dangerous, but it was cathartic as fuck. For a few moments, it felt like the sadness was leaving me, intertwined with the sweat dropping from my brow, if only temporarily.

Welp, this was a stupid fucking story. Have a great day guys.

Pyramid set squats, for the first time in a month, then 2 sets of as many reps as possible with a lightly loaded bar. HOLY JUMPING JESUS CHRIST I really need to do these more often.

Then a superset of L-sit pullups and jumping pullups, done as slowly and deliberately as possible so I could really exhaust my grip and core strength. and because fuck crossfit speed bullshit.

Havent worked out in 2 solid weeks. Shitty because I was just getting into some awesome work on my body, a good 45 days of solid fitness. Ive put on a couple pounds. I just went to a vacation, and after coming back cut my leg on some barbed wire. I was out smoking behind a cattle fence. Well I got stitches which was shitty, even shittier is the fact that I had to get a tetanus shot on my left arm. So my left body was basically paralyzed, and I just picked up the weights 8 days after it.
My arm from the shot was basically locked muscle. Uncomfortable and could barely move it. Now that thats over I feel great.
I just did a couple sets and gonna exercise as much as I can without tearing my leg anymore. Felt very shitty to not be able to do anything but watch movies and lay around. The cut was super deep and had to heal with stitches and anytime I moved it made it worse.
Feels good. I cant wait to get back into fitness and getting fucking ripped.

The increase in body temp during exercise helps your body burn away viruses and bacteria. I've been feeling a bit of a weakened immune system lately so I've did a few long runs and it helped. Been avoiding anything more strenuous than that.

I actually worked out for the first time in a while today. Just played with the log and got up to 218lb, then did 5 sets with 130 for reps, then did like deadlifts/rdls/clean pulls with it for 4 or 5 sets of 10 and got up to 218 again I think, maybe less. Then pull ups, grip work, and abs.

It's honestly really nice for the act of exercising to feel like a treat again. Not like a job.

Im a beginner when it comes to exercise.
ive been walking for atleast the last 2-3 months 2 (sometimes three) times a week, atleast once a week i do a 2 hour walk usually on mondays or tuesdays and on fridays i walk until i literally cant go any further and just take a bus home.

Anyways, in the last 2 weeks or so ive been getting full really easily and been unable to eat the food ive been dieting on, like ill cook a carrot some corn and 2 (small) potatos and ill eat the corn and carrots super quickly but when it comes to potatoes ill eat like 1 and feel as full as if i ate a pizza from dominos. This is actually super weird for me being a fatty.
Ive also cut my sugar way down, going from a block of chocolate a week to only a bar (if that!) sometimes i find it cheaper to buy apples than chocolate and it scares me but makes me happy to say that.

yesterday i walked 15 kilometres, when i frist started walking on fridays i could only walk 5, now 5 is an absolute breeze.
Ive got a bit of a tan now and my clothes feel a little bit looser, i put a shirt on the other day and i was just amazed by how it fit.

Anyways i hope you guys dont mind me, i just needed to say something somewhere. figured here would be best. before you know it ill be able to feel comfortable going to a gym!

Shit, i think im kind starting to feel a fever, did squats, but the weight im used to, was much harder, so i just did 2 sets with it, tried bench pressing, but realized im much weaker on the first rep, and decided its better to lay off today.

I hope im good tomorrow, because tomorrow is the last workout of the year, after that, cozy christmas with mom and dad, then going camping into the fucking woods with my best friend, her girlfriend, which is also a great friend of mine, and a friend of her, who wants my body, this on top that we will take copious ammounts of lsd and the fact, im gonna do it on my birthday, makes it all just awesome.

Sorry for the non related stuff, im just excited.

Feelin pretty good today. Nobody around in the gym so I had ample room to fuck my own shit up. Really tried to practice my deadlift and squat form, which
are shit and I know it. Lower back muscles are deficient and I have a tendency to dip my ass at the bottom of squats. Also my legs are pretty lean (chicken legs) so simply keeping balance is a challenge.

First cardio session back, been not eating like an animal for less than a day, somehow didn't die. On the bright side, that was literally the worst session I'm going to have all year and I cracked it. It will get noticeably easier from here on in though tomorrow's weights could be hard. I didn't skip weights entirely over the holiday though, thought if I'm going to eat like a pig I should move some bits of metal around at least a couple of times.

Went for a long ass several hour walk during the day to catch some spring sun and clear my head after having too many beers yesterday, then hit the gym in the afternoon. Ive only started doing it recently and as i said i was, if not exactly hungover then at least a little weak so i kept it light:

>about 10 minutes rowing machine to warm up
>some arms and shoulder and chest stuff
>bunch of sit ups, leg lifts and back exercises
>a long, nice hot sauna session with stretching, interrupted and finished off with a bunch of quick ice cold showers

god damn those endorphins are making me feel like a new person. And im going through some shit so i needed it extra bad

I'm actually in discomfort but I've been taking it easy around my birthday, eating shitty food etc. It's been almost a week since my last cardio session and this was the worst one I've had since the first one after new year. I'm still heavy on my feet from the cider and cake and biscuits. My relationship with food could use some work so I compensate by lifting and running until I'm ripped.

Its over though and it'll get better. I did make it to the end and beat my "par". Just had a stitch for 15 minutes. Yesterday it hurt to walk so it's an improvement.

Nah, I was in mean shape last wednesday. I literally lost my christmas weight before February. I eat like a labrador if I am able to and so the water weight I was retaining on monday was probably almost 10 pounds in addition to a couple of pounds of fat I'd have stored. If I didn't have a wedding tomorrow (more drink and food) and a birthday the next week I'd bet on being back to normal by next friday but it'll probably be the second week of July. I won't be eating much for more than an afternoon at a time though so I expect to be able to hit the gym like normal again next week.

Anyway. Weights yesterday, just about managed to manage 3 sets of 12 bench press at 2x25KG so that's good, I was doing 3x8x2x15KG in November. Today is more cardio.

I wonder how the fuck you can lose weight this fast without cutting bits off, what's your deficit and routine like?

I've got to be honest I'm worried this isn't doing what you think. If you can actually sustain a 2500 calorie deficit and not get ill or exhausted (or drugs?) or be losing muscle by the pound then I want your metabolism.

I don't quite understand either. But, I just eat when I'm hungry. I just make sure that each meal is clean and makes me full until next time i eat which is every 4 hours.

Funny thing, im an endomorph which means I gain muscle fast and also gain fat and weight easily. Yet, it's hard for people to lose weight being that body type. I'm just blessed with decent genetics I guess.

Going back to the gym tomorrow too which will make me lose weight 2x as fast.

Yeah I've gotten to like doing cardio. The more I do it, the faster 30 minutes passes by. I cant wait to lose another 8lbs so I can start lifting again. I'm going to train hard like a motherfucker and get big really damn fast. No, I'm not talking about using steroids or test boosters. I know my body well enough to know what I can and cant do. I've done this before in the past and I got bigger and stronger at a fast rate. Yeah, I was gaining strength and muscle even though I was cutting weight at the time.

I am going to start lifting again in the beginning of August. I should be down to atleast 185lbs when I start training again. I'm going to enjoy the grind and get somewhere for once in my life. Progress is a process and I'm going to enjoy the process of transforming my physique.

The gym has been my passion since I was 18yrs old. Yeah, I haven't trained in a long time. But, this time I am going to commit to this and live the fitness lifestyle until the day I die. I was destined to do this chit, period.

Word. I've been active my whole life but only just recently started doing actual lifting/building. I used to do a lot of parkour shortly after graduating highschool, and I was fairly ripped, but I got out of my regular workout habits.

I started watching my food intake a couple of years ago and trying to exercise regularly. I posted before that this past year, six months specifically, have really seen the most improved perfection of my diet and exercise regiment. I'm still only giving it about 80% though. I don't always stay on schedule, and sometimes my diet falters.

However for me it's about bulking up and gaining weight. I've always been kind of small, despite being moderately muscular, and I've never had a shred of fat anywhere on my body. I started getting serious with my lifestyle because of two reasons: I wanted to better myself through struggle and dedication, and I also want to be head-turningly muscular.

So far I'm pleased with my progress. I was slow in the beginning because I was really, really, *really,* depressed, but I'm better now mentally and physically. At the same time I've been studying a lot of different things in my free time and refining my own existential/philosophical beliefs and goals. I don't want to get too hippie dippy or cringey with it, but it really has been about more than my physical being. This has been about an entire dedicated lifestyle change.

I could never go back at this point. The amount of effort and dedication I put into being who I am now has shifted my view of reality and changed the basis of my desires and goals in life.

I sacrificed my social life and I blew up to 220lbs at 5'3. I sacrificed my health to be strong. Lifting was my life back then, 10 years ago. Doing it again now and I'm much happier. But, I want to build my physique as I have no desire to powerlift again. Cant wait to see where i am a year from now.

Yes. Signing up for a gym or training is dumb as hell. Take responsibility for the state of your body and work on it at your own pace.
Everything your body needs you can do in the comfort of your basement with a set of dumbbells and an airbike. Those wont cost you as much as a gym membership in a crowded disease filled gym.

You should do your research on online PTs before you pay one to get you in shape. Most of them are rip offs. But, their are very reputable ones out there. You just have to know your shit about which people are real lifters and ones who make cookie cutter programs for someone and actually gives every client they have the same program and diet that was originally for the first person solely.

Gym membership is a lot cheaper than that space. However it's also not mutually exclusive with taking responsibility and working at your own pace. The main issue is going in on Monday evenings though. Everyone starts their workout week on Monday.

Not only do I work as a coach, but I hired this person for powerlifting.

hiring a coach isnt a bad idea and the very act of hiring a professional is taking more responsibility for your health than trying to do it with a half assed attempt because you lack the knowledge.

That being said, I did not get what I paid for and am disappointed with the service

The person I hired for powerlifting prep is actually employed by a world record holder and competes at the international level.
I just dont think we mesh well and his training didnt do well on me.

Im just lmaoing @ the people who think hiring a trainer is a waste because I can ensure with 100% certainity he cannot deadlift above his bodyweight or have a bodyfat below 14%

now powerlifting is an actual sport so you do need a trainer, but People can maintain a body fat below 14% without hiring anyone. A couch is a nice thing to have but not essential, and in many cases can act as a deterrent to the person who hired them if they dont get along. Its much better just educating yourself and taking things at your own pace.

Got home from the gym 30 minutes ago. Burned 325 calories, went 1.30 miles all in 25 minutes. I'm still weighing 187lbs. But, I've been more strict with my diet lately. 2nd day in a row that I've done cardio. I'll get below my current weight very soon.

I've decided that when I get down to 185lbs (which is just 2lbs I got to lose) I'm going to start lifting again. I was going to wait until I got to 180lbs. But, I'm getting impatient. I'm still cutting when I start lifting again. Cant wait to kill the weights!

Went to the park today and walked 1.2 miles on the trails. Was sweating my ass off from the heat and the walking. I didn't think I'd be doing cardio at the park. I was just there to take pics and enjoy nature and the ocean. I have no idea how many calories I burnt. I'm just glad I did something productive and something a bit different from being in the gym on an elliptical all the time. It was a good change of pace.

Today is a rest day. Yesterday was legs with the brunt of it being descending sets of squats and deadlifts. Floor leg/core work outs on the end of the session. Today my legs and butt are completely decimated.

I want to start jogging as well when I do my lower body lifting. Should I jog before or after lifting? I usually jog instead of doing a lower body lifting session. It's one or the other for me, but I don't want to miss out on cardio or leg lifts. Can anyone help me out regarding this? Thank you in advance.

Because the cardio machines keep track of how far you've gone in terms of miles and it tracks your calories burnt.

This is common sense. If you don't know that then maybe you should do some research on lifting and nutrition before you walk into the gym blindly and have no plan of attack towards whatever goals it is that you want to achieve in the gym.

I dont think those machines can accurately measure how many calories you burn. He really shouldn't care how many calories he's burning as long as he keeps up with the daily cardio routine.

Also you sound anal for some reason.

Sorry I didn't mean to come off as a dick. My bad.

Yeah, I can't say for sure either if the calorie tracker is accurate. But, doing cardio daily and being soaked in sweat as you bust your ass each and everyday doing so, you'll drop weight like crazy.

Just got home from the gym. Went 1.3 miles and the machine said that I burnt 330 calories in 25 minutes. I am exhausted. But, I am satisfied with today. I'm just grinding my ass off in the gym. Im keeping low key and putting in the hard work. You get out what you put in.

Just some thoughts on this.

Walking 1 mile while weighting 80KG (less than this dude or me) burns 100 calories. Cross trainers or whatever add resistance so you can burn a lot more over a mile because it's like a mile up a 6% slope with some weight. You also need to ensure you dial your weight in correctly so it can apply resistance. These machines could either measure the work done or take the stats. They won't be 100% accurate but I think they won't be too far off.

Calories burned is sort of important if you're trying to lose weight. But on a cardio machine they're really just like a "score" like a par to beat so you know you're improving or not getting worse. 3500 calories is 1 pound of fat.

I do "600 calories" in half an hour which would be like running just under 12mph for that time. That's pretty intense but that is half an hour of high intensity cardio with my pulse around 80% the whenever I measure it (I've got a resting pulse of about 55bpm). However it probably means I actually did somewhere between 450 and 700. I wouldn't trust it to be more accurate than that. I've used other machines which for almost the same intensity tell me I've burned 100 calories in 20 minutes. Which is a moderate walk so if they can be that inaccurate so can the ones that tell me what I want to hear. 330 calories in 25 minutes is quite reasonable. That's like running about 7mph. I guess you know if that sounds right. Maybe it's even low balling you.

I alternate cardio and weights days because the gym is literally across the road from me. Bump because I only take saturdays off. Cardio done. Time for a shower.

You're only argument is to go at an implied slower and less productive pace because you wont spend money.

This is the reason people spend money - so they can learn from someone else and excel at a faster rate.

I teach my clients and back up everything I do with research and get people to accomplish more with me than they could on their own, and the lowest I charge is 100$/mo which is about 25$ an hour if I break it down with how much effort I put into writing their diet, program, and communication with them as well as run my gym.

The gym is more than just lifting weights and getting big and strong. It's a place where people can better themselves, inside and out. You can learn things about yourself through lifting that you can apply to life outside the gym. It's a place of uplifting greatness.

Some people are telling me that I cant maintain my weight once I'm done with my cut and I'm losing weight "too fast". Well, who says im staying at 170lbs? My bulk starts almost immediately after my cut is done. So, I don't care how I shed this fat off me. This is a great pace I'm going. I'm bulking up to 190-195lbs throughout the winter. Next spring will be when I actually do give a shit about how slow or fast I'm losing. But, for now I'm going to do what I've been doing. It's working out good for me. That's all that matters.

Why are you bulking then?
You are losing more muscle mass than neccessary, and your performance is dropping WAY faster than it should if you are even on a proper program.

And those are the only two reasons a person would bulk, to gain muscle or increase performance, both of which you are destroying with your reckless dieting methods.

"Working good for me" = "I have no idea what Im doing and Ill just say its best"

I think it's because your posts are misleading. There's a whole lot of
>Oh I lost 1.2 pounds overnight my metabolism flipped a switch
>I lost 5 pounds since last week
>I can sustain this because my metabolism is awesome

And now suddenly actually it's 5 pounds a month. You're the one getting defensive. You're like a journalist just reporting the big swings. Your weight didn't stall for ages. You've probably been dropping fat at a steady rate but you took a big dump on certain days and didn't drink quite as much water and then you seemed to stop for several days because you were retaining abit more fluid. You probably bounced up a bit on a couple of days and ignored it.

Water weight is real. I go up and down 2 pounds during a week eating the same calories every day except saturday. If you eat a few extra carbs your body needs to maintain seawater levels of concentration so it will suck in water. Like several times as much as the carbs. If your diet isn't the same every day your weight will rock up and down. If you want accurate results either work out the trend or eat the same pattern every week and measure at the same time and day so it's the same point in the cycle. Friday morning after a glass of water and a shit is my weighing day because most weeks I'm regular in my meals. When I'm not I take the readings with a pinch of salt.

I'm going to bump this because I started free weight squats for reals a few weeks ago and I've finally found a weight where I felt challenged. Though I'm hoping I can push through that as it's still quite a bit less than my body weight which is shameful. My upper body strength is getting pretty solid but my legs have languished and I actually use them far more day to day.

The thread doesn't need abandoning. The dude is full of shit and doesn't read his own posts but contrary to the impression he'd given he's not running a 2500 calorie deficit every day and he'll be fine.

I am glowing. I did half an hour of high intensity cardio and am now dripping in sweat. That endorphin high is nice. It's been 20 minutes and my pulse is almost down to below my usual rate (it's still hovering around 65 bpm) again so this shit continues to work for me.

I live across the road from a gym and it costs me a fair amount of money. It'd be more than it's worth except the convenience of having it 2 minutes walk away makes it hard to justify not turning up most days and I can go every day and can do sessions like today where other people would sink almost as much time as the workout itself getting there. They'd go less and try to fit everything in and either do lame cardio or reduced lifting to not die of exhaustion. Also the air conditioning meant during the heat wave I'd come in and lift weights to cool off.

When I eventually move I might shop around. Or I'm likely to move to the town where my secondary workplace is and they have a gym. I'm going somewhere with this. You could join the fire and rescue service or police but lol I know where I'm posting so nope and get a gym on site even if you're not a firefighter.

Down to 182.6lbs today. I've been sitting at 184lbs for a week I was pretty surprised I am below 183lbs now since that was the lightest I've been in 6 years, until my new weigh in today. I'm cutting down to 175lbs instead of 170lbs. I'm starting to feel small and look it. So, I have to cut these last 7lbs which will be easy instead of 12lbs. Then its bulk time. Yeah budday!!

Came back with the biggest Schadenfreude ever.

Some months ago some fucker tried to stop my workout right in the middle, cause he believed my lifts would hurt me for being heavy, came in the most autoritharian disrespectful way possible, i told him to fuck off.

Today i came to the gym and he was there in a wheelchair, with a belt in the stomach, with some kind of nurse like trainer, making him do some slow core exercises.

Good riddance Hot wheels, try to stand and teach others what you don't know again.

My ex friend tried doing the same thing and I told him to mind his own business. Of course, he was a jealous fuck because I was doing something positive in real life instead of playing WoW all day like he was. I got bigger and stronger than him and he became insecure about me even though we were supposed to be best friends since I've known him all my life. But, I don't need someone in my life who always bashes me because hes a fat computer nerd fucktard.

If you want to inject roids then fine, you compete with people inject roids. Or you're doing what you do and paying that cost for what you get. Personally I'm not a serious lifter or bodybuilder and I'm just trying to live longer and not look like shit so I don't do roids.

There is some damage in roids, aside from (maybe even if you include them) risks to the users of fucking with their body chemistry though these aren't always significant, there's a different between a middle aged man taking a low dose to keep it at the levels it used to be and a 25 stone slab of beef exceeding what the human body can be normally for years at a time the biggest dangers are usually comparison to non roid users. Competitively (because it's usually cheating) and also in terms of image. Men haven't reached women's level of body image issues but we're making good headway and there's plenty of hollywood A listers we can thank for that. I guess if there was less stigma then people would admit it and we'd feel less inadequete for not being Christian "The Rock" Jackedman.

I am actually bumping though.

Day off work due to them switching over shit. So I hit the gym early in the day hoping it'd be super quiet and my energy levels would be higher. Not quite but I did my shit but and I've lost the weight from the last few weeks excesses, my pull ups have not been so easy since the middle of September. Hopefully I'm back to a 32 inch waist again now. Then I walked a few miles because the benefits of being not a fat sack of crap can actually be felt in terms of mundane shit too. Also I really needed a banana and a corgette and some vaseli.. a cabbage.

Weighed in at 176.6lbs this morning. 6lbs to go and then its bulk time. Back in the gym on Monday and I'm going to make my comeback in powerlifting after not doing it for 10 years. Train hard and train hard like a motherfucker which I'll be doing over the next year and then once 1 year passes by and I become jacked and strong, I'm finding a meet and will be prepping for it aka peaking. I'm coming back 10x stronger and much bigger than I was before but at a much lighter BW unlike when I was 220lbs.

I'm really excited to do what I have always had a passion for after being away from it for so long. I will always be a warrior of the iron. I will powerlift until the day I die and this time I wont give up this lifestyle ever again.

I'm just going to embrace my destiny and my fate by doing what my heart has been trying to say to me for so long; go back to the gym and be happy with what I'm doing by powerlifting. This flame in me has been lit and it will always stay lit this time.

Worked out 6 times this month. It’s not much but 6 of something is better than nothing. I was on a good streak for a while earlier in the year and kinda lost my way a bit over summer when life gets lively.

Using 15kg dumbbells, goal is to reach 20kg.

Currently on toilet, shitting post work out and vaping. Feels pretty good.

It feels good to be in such good shape right now. Does anyone else feel that maintaining your physical self through rigorous exercise and a proper diet is spiritual to them in a way? I feel like taking proper care of your physical being is a way of giving thanks and appreciation for your existence, and that you should be well versed with your body's physical limits.

Decided that bodybuilding is dumb and so is powerlifting. Instead gonna try go down the route of calisthenics - I want REAL, practical, physical power.

I'm down to 171.6lbs. Im truly proud of myself making it this far and never giving up on my weight loss goals. I'm going to get down to 165lbs and then I'll truly start my bulk. By that time I will have lost 95lbs altogether.

Hope you guys are busting your asses to achieve your fitness goals. Never quit and never give up no matter how hard life can beat you down and keep you down if you let it. Push through that shit and never give up on your dreams and aspirations.

Have a good day everyone and kill it in the gym my iron warrior brethren.

I'm officially done my cut. Monday my bulk starts and I will start training for powerlifting again for the first time in years. I'm exactly at 170lbs as of today. Im going to bulk up to 190-195lbs and train hard and aggressively for the next year. After a year has gone by I'm going to sign up for my first meet in 10 years and peak for it.

I've realized that powerlifting is my destiny and fate and I will lift until the day I die. It's my one and only passion. The fire is back and this time it won't go away.

I've gone through a lot of hardship and struggle over the past few months and my answers to my questions have been right in front of me. No more wasting my days away and being an addict. As long as I can lift I don't need drugs to make me happy or just to get through the day.

Powerlifting is my therapy and that's how I feel now.

I'm down to a 36in waist. Overall I've lost 10in off my waist since I was wearing 46in waist pants before I began my weight loss journey.

My bulk and training for powerlifting starts tomorrow. I'm really excited to do what I've been passionate about since I was 18-19yrs old.

I'm ready to go and get this shit started. Let's see how jacked and strong I'll be within the next year. This time I will become bigger and stronger than I've ever been in my life. But, this time I'm not going to be some fat fuck either. Watch and see...

I jogged. I'll probably play basketball for a while later on and have a core workout session. Tomorrow is an upper body lifting session. I had to cut my lower body weight lifting because I damaged my right knee somehow and can't put any hard pressure on it. I'm just glad I can still run and hike perfectly fine.

New PB of 6 wide pull ups.

Destroyed my arms with a pull up blitz today. Did 37 of them across 30 mins across the 3 variations twice. It reached a stage where I’d manage 2/3 max for the opening set but only 1 or even 0.5 for the remaining sets. It sucks being this weak, but I’m glad I did it. Spent about an hour afterwards just lying in bed cause my arms had gone 100% goofy.

Trying to reduce my rest period inbetween sets too, did the workout really fast compared to usual but unsurprisingly the numbers overall were lower. But this burn is hardcore so I reckon it’s done a better job.

Repeated this routine today in the same timeframe. Very happy with the hustle. My arms do not feel even remotely disabled like they did before and I made good progress.

PB of 6.5 wide pulls.
Achieved 47.5 overall, which is an improvement of 10.5!

I developed a mantra/breathing routine to help improve focus too. Before every set, I take a deep inhale/exhale whilst thinking "clear (my mind)". Then it goes (inhale) 5, (exhale) and, (inhale) 4.... when I reach 1, I move over to the equipment again and pick up the exercise.

I have 10lbs to lose to make it to the 100lb mark. I'll be at 160lbs at the end. I can fit into a 34in waist pants now. I'll probably be a 32in waist at the end of my cut lol.

Just posting post workout / eat. Today was leg day for me. Tomorrow is an upper day, and the day after being a jogging/rest day.

>>95175

That's what I like to hear. I've been active and worked out for most of my life, but with nowhere near my current level of knowledge and understanding regarding proper nutrition and exercise. I've improved so much since I actually took the time to read and take notes about physical training, nutrition, various exercises, and things like muscle groups/structure and cellular composition.

I'm in the best shape of my life by a noticeably decent margin. For one, I just feel so incredibly healthy. I can feel my wellness permeate my being. For two, as a bonus to living this kind of lifestyle, I'm absolutely fucking ripped. And beyond good health and looks, I treat my exercise and nutritional regiment as a kind of test to my will.

Maintaining peak physical performance has become an every day way of life for me, to always try and push my limits, and to overcome the pain and struggle. This has all been catalyst to various other changes that have coincided over these same last couple of years. I've been working on improving several facets of my life, and my physical training is the biggest backbone to this endeavor, constantly reminding me of my will and ability to improve.

Or something. Sorry for the ran. Good luck in your continued efforts!

Tomorrow I'm buying all my food in bulk and I'm going back to the gym on Friday. I'm putting everything on the line and getting very serious with the gym again like I did 10 years ago. I want to feel the way I use to feel when I was 18-19yrs old.

Fuk this bullshit... talking out my ass and saying this and saying that. I'm done fantasizing. I'm going to do what I was born to do. My father was a bodybuilder and he passed down his passion onto me, his youngest son. I have a burning desire in my heart to live the bodybuilder lifestyle like I use to.

It's time to grow inside and out. Give me 6 months and I'll show you all a physique that I never had, not even 10 years ago. It's time to get down to business and go hard, balls to the walls training. I'll never let up on the gas, I will go 110% each and every day and leave it all in the gym.

I will show you all what I'm capable of. The fire in my heart is back and burning bright. I will prove to you all that I'm doing what I've been saying I am going to do. Watch and see...

Arms are still sore from Friday's workout. Going tomorrow to do arms again and then training other body parts through out the rest of this week.

Weighed in at 184lbs today. Going to cut a bit and train my dick off to gain more muscle and get rid of this fat. Want to get down to 170lbs again. That's only 14lbs I got to lose which wont be hard. I'll be able to gain muscle as I cut weight. Cant wait to see how I look in the next 3 months after this cut is done and having gained a lot of muscle in the process.

I'm training 4x a week without fail. I love the gym as it's my one and only passion. This week is the start of my fitness journey towards building my physique to the best it's ever been. I'm going to prove to you all that I can do this and come out the winner. Fuck that fantasizing bullshit. I've already started my journey and I'm not going to quit and give up this time. The fire and passion I have for lifting and dieting is back 110%. Its been 10 years since I left my passion behind. But, now I'm ready to go back to what I was put on this earth to do and that's to lift and live the fitness lifestyle like my father did back then. He passed on the passion of the gym to me and I thank him greatly for it.

I've only lifted one time and already I feel better about itself. I'm going to put in the time and effort to come out on top and be able to carry myself with the utmost confidence with my newfound physique that I will work hard for over the next few months, let alone 1 year.

Never quit and never give up because I wont fail this time around.

A picture of my abs were uploaded to the 420Chan servers and within a few seconds the server committed Seppuku and died. Truly blessed to have been chosen by The Lord Of Chisels And Strength Mark Walberg The Sculptor to play a part in The Revelation of The Abs.

Today, to celebrate, I've done a pull ups day. Pretty poor performance and I also took the last week off after ripping my hands apart during a climbing session which left me with a lot of blisters.

The fact this dude has even stayed on mission this long means he has promise.

Being able to meet my budget managers and help them with their accounts while knowing I can do their Operational fitness tests easily is priceless though.

10 years later I've decided to get back in the gym and do what I do best.

I want to lose 27lbs. I currently weigh 187lbs and want to get down to 160lbs in 5 months. I have a lot of muscle memory so I'm going to look big and shredded besides the weightloss and not just lanky.

I'm going to prove anyone wrong who thinks I cant do this. Mark my words; I'll show you what time and hardwork and dedication will do for me.

No more fucking around, no more talking out my ass. Its time to get serious.

Did only squats and pendlay rows today, trying to go easy so i can get on a new routine, basically just gonna try doing SS with more upper body and assistance cause i wanna get stronger squats:
>did 142kgs on my squat last rep
>was going to do 85kgs on pendlay
>miscalculated and did 95kgs
>realized i didn't take my pre workout coffee before leaving
>realized i don't really need it and now i don't have a excuse for my hardcore addiction to it

I want to feel the way I felt when I was 18yrs old. I'm going to do whatever it takes to build the best physique I've ever had. I'm taking the pain and punishment so I can grow. I will make the sacrifices that needs to be made in order to keep growing and keep progressing. I'm grinding each and every day to get one step closer to achieving my goals.

I'm killing it in the gym and going 110% everytime I enter the gym. No more fucking around. I'm going all in on this. Its do or die

Overhead press is a really heavy exercise, so i limited it to once a week, and then add another shoulder day to do assistance work, like light weight high reps lateral raises, some rows and rotator cuff stuff, the overhead press day i leave for doing it for shoulder only, i feel it works better for me this way.

Did 153kgs squat 5 reps today, yeee.

Joined a gym with a spa recently that is a few minutes away. It’s pretty sick. I miss the old 3am workout routine but I’m hell of a lot less tired and enjoy the ability to get out of the flat for a few hours morning and night.

Been hitting it twice a day.

My weigh in is a decent 80kg, my lifting weights are as much as I can for now and generally I’m looking in good shape. Pretty much on the long and consistent haul now, have passed the point of noob gains and entered the 6month plus of 5 days a week region now.

To my fellow disciples of the brotherhood of steel, May your abs be shredded and gains be bountiful xoxo

I've gained 28lbs in 3 months from eating like shit and not being consistent with my diet and the gym. But, I'm going back on my diet today and going back to the gym and doing cardio everyday with no days off.

I don't know, sometimes when I go places people say things like, "do you work out?.. ..yeah I can tell," or like at work the other day I was moved to a new position in the plant and one of the women I work with looked at me one day and then pointed to her biceps and said, "you've got really big arms," to which I replied that I've been lifting weights for a few years now, to which she said, "it looks good." Or when I was in line at the grocery store a few weeks ago a women behind me in line randomly commented on my arms.

It's actually kind of weird and annoying so I try to wear concealing clothes if it's not too hot. nb

Down to 195lbs today, 2lbs lost already. Doing cardio again today. Will increase the amount of time I do cardio in each session. I eventually want to be doing cardio each session for 45 minutes. I know I can get there. It's only a matter of time.

You guys had the right to call me out. I was just talking out my ass. You guys gave me a huge wake up call. I already feel happier making this commitment and going through with it.

I'm on a strict diet now. I eat 4 meals a day and so far its working out good for me. Once i get down to 180lbs I will start lifting again.

I want to get down to 160lbs like I previously mentioned. Hopefully I'll be able to fit into 33in jeans/shorts by then. I'll be able to buy clothes from stores like H&M and the like then. I always wanted to be able to wear stylish clothing to look good. Itll happen in due time.

I'll probably jog the mountain bike trails tomorrow after work, weather permitting. Motivation is key to success.

Did my usual full body routine. My confidence with squats is starting to increase so that means more weights soon I hope. I think I need to find something for my biceps as my current routine allows too much "cheating" and using other muscles to circumnavigate actually having the biceps do much work. I think I will try some barbell curls on Wednesday and start at a low ish weight and focus on form and see what I can manage. Plus I'm overdue a change or two to my routine.

>>95303
From the speed you gained weight before, you will be losing some of that weight because you're still shitting out the crap you ate and as you do your body needs to hold less water to keep the salt/carb levels steady. Don't be surprised if the initial burst steadies out. However as long as you burn more than you eat you'll keep losing. If you aren't exercising it will be hard to lose more than a pound a week without either skipping nutrients or an extremely spartan nofun diet, or spending a lot of money.

Why not do cardio and maybe some leg stuff? Though it'll be mostly machine if your shoulders are fucked up, it will speed the weight fat loss up, Also because you might as well not skip leg day even if you have to skip all the other days. It'll ensure you keep the routine and discipline and are ready to switch into weights when your body is ready.

I know that the weightloss will slow down in due time.

I've been contemplating whether to do cardio or not and I've decided to get back in the gym tomorrow and start doing it. My shoulder shouldn't give me a problem doing that. Honestly, I miss the gym a lot and I cant stand not going anymore. So, tomorrow I'm starting my cardio regimen. I want to get up to doing each session for 45 minutes. But, all I can handle at the moment is 25 minutes per session. I'll be able to increase the duration as my cardiovascular system improves and my heart gets stronger.

Camt wait for tomorrow!

Prediction: Albert is probably not real but either way, he will pull his shoulder tomorrow and then resume not working out. Felt exhausted today, somehow did all the shit I wanted.

I switched our hammer curls because I'd somehow got into a place where it was either too easy or I was getting it done via shitty form (doing all the work with my back and shoulders maybe) and I felt like nothing was really hitting my bisceps properly. Definitely hit them today. Not a load of weight but I definitely felt strain in places that don't ever normally strain so I'm hoping it'll start to pay off soon.

If you would have told me this is where I would be a couple years ago my fat ass would have laughed in your face. Fixing to light up my usual post workout bowl. Here's to another year bros, and then fifty more after that.

I went running a little over an hour ago, got back and fried some kale and green bell pepper in walnut oil with four eggs and a side of two raw carrots and an everything bagel.

I have to do upper body lifting later on today. I don't normally jog on lifting days, but I had an itch that needed scratching, and only jogging could scratch said itch.

Sometimes you have a bad day and you have to remember even during the day that those happen. The important thing is to keep on trucking and try to lose as little momentum as possible knowing you'll pull up soon. You've seen worse and you've recovered. You've gotten better at handling the bad times and recovering from them and even the bad times can be barely a wobble. It happens sometimes but overall things are good right?

Same applies to bad days working out. At least you turned up to the gym, lifted what you couldn't and didn't eat 9999 pizzas. And by yesterday you were already better.

Cardio day today. No one else in the gym, cold day, opened a window, made it a lot easier. I know I could go outside but there's things to fall over and run into out there.

Push day today. I'm a little over two weeks into my month long cut and I find it a little odd that even though I've been in a pretty decent caloric deficit while still hitting my protein goals I've somehow managed to make some decent gains on my bench. Oh well better just take what I can and not look too much into it. Wish I could say the same about my squat though :/

>>95324
Look man I'm happy to see that you're sticking to your diet and continuing to lose weight, I really am. But would it kill you to wait until AFTER you actually go to the gym? This is a "bump while GLOWING" thread not "bump while fantasizing about what I'm probably not going to do at the gym.

Also you really should try and work in some weight training into your routine while you're on such an aggressive cut otherwise you're going to lose a bit of muscle mass and end up skinnyfat with a flabby torso and skinny ass arms, TRUST ME.

I did my upper body lifting session today, mostly arms and chest. Chow time now time, hombres; made some steamed broccoli and brussel sprouts, sauteed onions and shrimp, and an ahi tuna steak with a bagel on the side. I Might have a little puff puff on the pipe for having a bad ass day today

Keep pushing, keep on track, be on schedule, never quit, never procrastinate, get it finished holmes. Then eat protein.

Already I feel like from doing these things once it has given me more mobility and flexibility for the first time in 8 years, swear to god. When im strong enough to bench again with no pain I'm going to.gaon strength real fast. I'll see where I am after doing this everyday for 3-4 weeks when I try to bench again.

Good luck on your endeavors everyone.

Leg day today which is always my least favorite day of my PPL routine. But tomorrow is a rest day so that thought seems to get me through the grind. And I always start with my least favorite workout (lunges) and end with my least hated (deadlifts) so once I start it feels easier every set I finish.

I’m almost a month in to my cut after bulking all winter and I gotta say I think this is my most successful one yet. Down to 168 from 183. I think I finally got the diet down so I’m in that sweet spot of solid calorie deficit whilst not constantly being hungry. And I can ALMOST see my abs which is really encouraging. I am definitely losing strength though unfortunately and my last set of workouts really highlighted that. I was just going to cut for all of April but now I see where I’m at I think I’ll keep going for another month and see if I can get them abs POPPIN.

Then take action. Remember when I said do a little cardio to get into the routine? Why didn't you? You rationalised them as unimportant because they weren't your fantasy. If you'd been doing them the last 2 weeks you'd be feeling the benefits and already be a good way into making them habits. The truth is you need to work your way up. You can still start now. Come back here tomorrow when you've done a 10 minute jog or some couch to 5K (which is 20 minutes of a mix of walking and jogging), and some sit ups, push ups and bodyweight squats. Or do those things now. You've still got time today. Do it 3 times a week or even every day. Your reward process is fucked by opiates and you can't stomach something that doesn't yield RIGHT NOW. You need to practice doing little things and getting used to your little endorphin rush and feeling of intellectual satisfaction that comes from doing it as well as you could today (and that is what this thread is about) instead of just short circuiting your entire reward system or skipping out when you can't instantly get that rush.

You don't fucking get it. It's not about having an elite physique. Everyone wants different things from their exercise regimen. We're not going to look down our noses at you if your ideals don't match ours (they're all different). We're not even going to look down our noses when you aren't wherever there is. This thread is a celebration of the spirit. That guy who had a bad day the other day and a bit of a mental health wobble, he still turned up and did it and next time he was there it went better. We're proud of him for even trying.

Don't post here until you've done something. Legitimately work out or fuck off.

I did my cardio today. Was good. London marathon on the gym screens when I was at it, so I felt like a pussy by comparison but seeing the guy dressed as big ben struggle to get through the finish (it was like trying to get a sofa through a doorway except it was his height, there was lots of trying to twist them diagonally) due to the height of the costume was funny. I mean they finished so respect for running 26 miles n under 4 hours wearing a giant clock costume but holy shit I'm not sure if it was hilarious or all the other people helping him through was a nice moment. Both I guess? Anyway I did what I set out to do.

Having dead threads bumped because the bot seems to favour topics it can tenuously link to ass/legs (except when it misfires) means it just keeps favouring its own dead threads which is bad for actual discussions on what is quite a slow board.

Your skin will or won't recover. Doing it quickly doesn't make it likely to stay stretched, in fact it means it's spending less time being stretched so it'll recover faster. It's just when you go fast there might be a slight delay when it catches up.

Mine never caught up. I always look a little flabby even at single figure body fat. Only in a few places mostly around my centre of mass though. There's worse fates. I used to be almost morbidly obese and the bits of me where the skin fits are pretty decent.

Also did my cardio today. After a weekend eating too much, I smashed it out despite being sleep deprived. I will sleep like a corpse tonight.

I'm going to take the pain and punish my body so I can grow. I'm going to become a fucking monster! In one year I'm going to have a physique that I've never had. I'm going to show you all the progress that I will have made through dedication and consistency and hard work.

The gym and lifting weights has always been my passion. How bad do I want it? I want it so bad that I will make sacrifices so I can keep progressing. Nothing is getting in my way this time. If someone tells me that I cant do this or act like a dick, I will tell them to go fuck themselves.

All of this is worth it to me. I'm doing everything it takes to get where I want to be. I will go beyond my limits and train hard, whether I puke or pop blood vessels in my eyes. Blood, sweat and tears. I'm ready to die for this shit because that's how passionate I am for this.

If you just worked a bit more veg and the odd apple in you might be okay, just change the guest veg and you'll be there. Canned vegetables will give fibre but you might be short a few micronutrients unless it's really good canned veg. A good diet is as important as good routine. It's all additive, or maybe multiplicative. Probably a bit of both.

The other shit is what'll kill you if anything does but it won't stop you getting ahead in the mean time. Unless the meat is processed shit then that'll probably do you in first.

Weights today. Again I made progress in tiny steps but it's progress enough as long as it keeps happening.

One more full week until my cut is over and I cannot express how excited I am to start back bulking again. I look the best I’ve probably ever looked but man has it gotten tougher and tougher to muster up the energy to give my all in a full workout. As well as slowly but surely losing strength is starting to take its toll mentally. I also started back up my tree work job (I get paid winters off) a couple months ago which is pretty physical to begin with, that makes my 6 day a week regimen all that much more challenging. But it has made cutting down on weight a relative breeze though. As well as really testing my discipline. I never thought I would miss oatmeal and peanut butter so much in my entire life lol.

Bump for leg day. I was so exhausted after work today that this was easily the least motivated that I have ever been for a workout I fucking hate leg day but I got it done, which is a victory within itself. Remember bros, at the end of the day, the only thing keeping you from your fitness goals is yourself

I took my first boxing class yesterday, and it reminded me of being a kid and doing kung fu and judô.
To make it short, it reminded me how much i loved doing martial arts, and it didn't take me long to realize im gonna start going to boxing classes, and fuck it try to chase it as a sport, i don't plan on becoming big, im 24 years old already, but i wanna do my best and see what i can do.

So today my workout was a little lighter on weights, did:
Overhead press 3x5 with a total of 71kgs on my last set
Pullovers 3x18 with a total of 20kgs on last set.

Then i did some shadow boxing just to remind myself of the right way to do the punches, not gonna lie, i had to slow down back my movement to get the form right again, since if i speeded it up i would lose the right form.

So, I uhhh.... worked out after work. I got my bi's and tri's and a lil' bit o' back n' shoulders. I'm looking forward to the next 48 hours of pain. Does that mean I'm overdoing it? My muscles don't usually start hurting until 12-16 hours after I work out, and then they continue to hurt for another 24-36 hours after they begin hurting. This has been the case for the last year and a half since I started a proper lifting regiment. I have a proper diet including 1g of protein per lb of body weight and I get 7-8 hours of sleep every night.

Anyways, bumpin' while a glowin' my mucho amigos

I am getting close but still all messed up. Limiting alcohol as much as possible, as well as calories, but chain smoking and taking sups. I started limited smoking a little bit lately, too, will try to taper it off.

I've switched from cans at your advice and others to a bag of cheap spinach. Also, mixing in canned sardines. I'm getting tons of cardio walking, climbing and running but want more resistance. I do weights at home but I just need to buy more plates, probably next month. I got about 15 lbs to go to my goal weight, probably 2/3rds of the way there! This is crazy. I'm a bit scared because I lost it so fast but looking a lot better and other than my lungs feeling great. Smoking ropes of ganja. The cigs are actually really more like appetite suppressants although the supps and ECA also do that.

I did my bi's, tri's, lats and shoulders just earlier. Consuming nutrients atm, and personally struggling to put on pounds, but I've been making a slow increase running a 1,500-2,000 cal. surplus. I'm a small guy, and eating as much as often as I need to is chronically physically uncomfortable. I manage to squeak by.

Good luck everyone, stay sharp

Pull ups using playground at kid's park, pushups, lifting my gay as 100 lbs of weights at home for benches and squats, hoping to get more plates next month. My gym membership expired last month but I figure the cost of renewing it will buy me enough plates, and I already have the bench, two pylons for squats with a safety rack, and padded flooring I fashioned from shit businesses threw out

Just got home from a 40 mile bike ride and fuck am I tired. Last time I went for some solid miles was last year and I was able to bang out 50+ miles and only my ass would hurt. But this time it felt like I hit a wall at around mile 30. I think my almost complete lack of carbs these past two months have been starting to effect my performance when it comes to my physical activities that aren’t lifting heavy things. Fortunately today marks the official end of my cut so let the carbs will flow!

Hit the upper body today with my tri's, bi's and chest. My last lifting session was lighter than usual so I made sure to get in full today.

I also started mountain biking again. I've gone twice now in the last week, so I need to figure out something with my leg days. I try not to exercise too much, so I don't want to double up mountain biking days with lifting days of any sort.

Did go karting on Saturday and so my forearms are still sore. Still did my weights. Definitely broken my squat stall. I mean it was a diddly 5KG increase but it's progress while eating a 500-1000calorie deficit and honestly almost as low on body fat as I dare.

I just like cake a lot. I do all this shit so I can offset that but it'd be fucking sad if I was just lifting the same weights over the years and somewhere along the line people stopped calling me skinny even though my weight hasn't changed in years.

Its been 1 month since I started lifting again. I've made good progress in such a short amount of time. I'm going to start focusing on losing weight along with lifting. I've gained some unwanted fat and I want to burn it all off by doing cardio and using more intensity in my workouts.

My muscle memory will make it so I gain muscle and strength while cutting. I'm 5'3 so I can get away with eating a bit less than someone who is a few inches taller than me.

I want to lose 35lbs which I know I can do it and hit my weightloss goal before the end of the year.

I'm super excited to do more in the gym and keep growing and going harder with my workouts as my work capacity grows. Cant wait to see how my physique looks in the next few months. I'm going to bust my ass even more with achieving my goal of having the best physique I've ever had.

Let's go!!

Time to kick ass and take names! I'm going to kill this back workout and cardio tonight.

I was THE one here 2 months ago that talked out my ass about going to the gym. But, I've since then truly went back and im making crazy progress for only lifting again for a month, taking the gym as seriously as I did a decade ago, if not more.

I'm very happy and proud of myself for making the decision to live my passion and going on and making a name for myself in the fitness industry. I will never quit and give up ever again like I did many times before. I am a human being and I'm capable of so much and I'm not going to let up on the gas for anyone or anything. This MY life! I will do what I was meant to do and if anyone tells me I cant will tell them to go fuck themselves.

Well back from the gum. It's my birthday and I want to eat a lot of shite, I've gotten lean enough that my ribs are like a xylophone so I'm okay with this. However I thought before I give my body as much food as it can process I'll give it the notion that it needs to build up muscle. I mean I expect to put on mostly fat but I can lose that in couple of weeks. Even a few grams more muscle is a few grams more muscle.

Squats up from 8 to 10 reps already so at this rate I'll go up another 5KG soon. A few more "I did another rep"s today. Now I'm glowing and eating a late brunch.

So I just thought I'd share, I've had great success dealing with skin recovery. The combination I use is cocoa butter, epsom salts with tea tree oil, tanning and home chemical skin peel kits. It's not where it should be yet but it's more progress than I made with just weight loss and lotion in the past.

Legs today. I switched up my main lifts from doing 3-4 sets of 6-12 reps to 5x5 and I have seen way more progress in the last month or so. For some reason it's easier for me mentally to just shoot for 5 tough reps than going for seeing how many I can get between 6-12. I think I recently turned a corner to where I somewhat enjoy squatting now. Ive also finally gotten all my main lifts up to two plates which, in the grand scheme of things isn't impressive at all, but it's still a sweet milestone for me. Going to buy two more plates this weekend as motivation for my next goal. May the lord of gains smile upon every one of you!

Your "dismal" squat is still miles ahead of me or most people. I guess when the world leaders are pushing into 4 figures it doesn't feel much but the majority of the population, even those who are adults and not into middle age, would probably have to get to the end of "noob gains" and actually gain muscle to pass 150.
