So at some point those of us not already experiencing it will join the rest of the world in the exciting fascism open beta test. At that point we won't be able to go to the gym because it's not work or supplies though the man can fuck off he thinks my girlfriend coming over for vitamin D isn't a necessity

I'm not a powerlifter but I'm past the point where pushups will do me any good and even if I put a bit of weight on pullups and triceps dips I want to make sure I'm going to push all the muscle groups I can reasonably hard without having weights at home.

Any ingenious suggestions for this? Body weight or bodyweight and a loaded backpack are within my means. I've found somewhere I can hang/pull up on and I can use the kitchen counter corner for tricep dips. Got enough space to take up running for cardio even if it's going to be a tiny circuit.

I realise I won't get maximum gains but anything I can do to avoid backsliding would be great if I can't hit the gym for 2 months.

When I was visiting the family over the holidays I invested in a set of resistance bands. I felt I was able to get in some pretty solid workouts in with them, upper body at least. These are the ones I got https://www.amazon.com/Tribe-Premium-Resistance-Bands-Workout/dp/B01IL6A0I6/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=tribe+resistance+bands+set&qid=1584481949&sprefix=tribe+&sr=8-1

I still use them for some accessory work even with my normal free weights

This might be workable. Some of the options might require a tree because I also don't have a bench but that would probably let me cover for the rows, bench and overhead press plus curls and supplement any easy body weight stuff.

err okay.

Gyms are now shut nationwide. Resistance bands like the ones I got linked are about a month delivery because they're coming from china and everyone else had the same idea so I've got some lame non stackable. I think theyll do with a bit of ingenuity but I'll be mostly relying in body weight plus resistance or a bit of weight to get the job done. I don't really have a choice unless I want to wait till mid April but the gym is shut now. these will be here on Sunday.

I'll use the bands for push ups, some arm exercises (maybe OHP and horizontal chest press maybe, bicep curls too) one arm at a time then take a bag with a few books for tricep dips and pull ups. I mean it's not like I can use my D&D rule books for D&D right now anyway.

Also looks like I'm taking up running for cardio. At least it's the right weather for it.

I think the name of the game for those of us without private gyms is just to avoid backsliding too much. But the change might help me use muscles I neglect otherwise.

I'm lucky that I have enough space to do running. Stay active, man.

I got cheap dumbell & kettle weights from craigslist. My home-gym equipment list grows bigger every month.

I don't have a car so I couldn't pick up and move weights around long distance and I'd need a few. No one's carrying 100KG+ of dumbells (or even 40KG for a single adjustable one) for my sake.

The resistance bands work to some extent. Weighted dips and pull ups are too challenging for me to do 3 sets of 12 on so I have room to progress on those.

I'm also now running. But BWG is good for that shit.
