"He told the London-based Times newspaper: "This dolphin does get very sexually aggressive. He has already attempted to mate with some divers.

"When dolphins get sexually excited, they try to isolate a swimmer, normally female. They do this by circling around the individual and gradually move them away from the beach, boat or crowd of people."

O'Barry said the dolphin would get very excited and rough before trying to mate with a swimmer, possibly causing them to drown."

Like it's not as though I think sexual aggression in a wild animal is in anyway condemnable. But it definitely conflicts with this romantic image people seem to tout. Same with them attacking and biting the dicks off porpoises:

>"In some of the incidents recorded in the past, there has been activity focused on the genital area of the porpoise," like bite marks or scraping, he said."

>"All the animals are subadults that are reaching sexual maturity, but they aren't high ranking yet in the dolphin social structure and therefore don't have access to females," Cotter said. "All of these attacks seem to happen in the summer and into the fall, which coincides with the peak breeding time, so we lean toward sexual frustration not infanticide behavior."

But hey, don't let the experts get in the way of your idyllic dolphin consensual gang-bang scenarios

What kind of cat is this?

A few years ago my mom brought in this stray, it had been declawed and she has always been as fat as she looks like in this picture. It's hard to tell in the pic but her tail is kind of stubby. Also she seems to be kind of retarded sometimes she shits next to the litter box instead of in it. And she does not meow like a normal cat, instead she sort of squeaks. I can't get her to hold still long enough to take a picture but when you see her from the side she is also kind of box shaped.

She's also tough as hell having been mauled by dogs twice several times by other cats and one time tried to jump up on to a bunk bed, missed , and fell landed on her back and then went and tried it again.

Man and we've been treating her like an outdoor cat. I am starting to see why she seems kind of messed up.

Update: I have decided to try and get her to lose weight. But whenever I try she ends up ether just staring at the toy or staring at me looking confused.

Post your aquariums and fish in this thread. I wanna see some cool fish that you keep. Pictured is my 7.5 inch weather loach and his buddies. I wish I could give him a lil fish kiss on those whiskers.

It was sick/retarded so I had to give it medicine I got from the pet-shop. The medicine was a blue liquid. I kept it in a bowl, not a fish bowl, but a spacious see-through normal bowl. My mother flushed it down.
This was in the 1st-2nd grade.

I had a hamster once. We were at the pet shop looking at them, trying to pick which one we should get. One was running on the wheel, and another stuck his head in, and got bashed in the head by the bars of the wheel. Repeatedly. We brought him home and called him Einstein. He died that night and we found his corpse in the morning. We never found out what killed him.

Yeah... me & my family had really bad luck with pets. We also had a bunch of canary birds.
There was several of them in different colours like green and blue. This was before I got the goldfish. When we were moving out of our house we were walking to the pet shop at the mall to give them away. We transported them in a box but we accidentaly dropped the box and someone nearly rode over it with a bicycle. I think it was then it also accidentaly opened and they all flew out. Shortly after we became indifferent and when we drove past the mall later we saw a couple of them fly and people was surprised. Maybe they died. It wasn't winter but it could have been spring or late summer.

so I've read a story on /b/ recently about a guy who beat up his dog on webcam and was hunted down by /b/ and the shit got kicked out of him.

Is it true or fake?

I hope it is true, anyone that beats their dog is a sick fuck, dogs were bred to help humans
Ian Deckleton - Sat, 03 Oct 2015 14:52:41 EST q1yk2NVm No.32270 Reply
having been bred to help humans is totally irrelevant to whether or not they feel pain... quit trying to excuse yourself graveyard

Dogs clearly feel pain regularly, what's your point?
I don't think that guy was arguing that they don't feel pain.
