how do you stop a dog from marking his territory instead of going to toilet at one go in one place?

you can't unless you abuse you animal like some sick asshole

let them piss on stuff, my dog pisses everywhere on their walk but when I take them out for a pee in the back yard at night they just go in 1 spot

I just give a light tug tug after the first four or five markings of territory.
I wouldnt call it animal abuse, cause i dont yell at them, hit them or yank them.

Another solution is to not get a male dog, female dogs dont really do it at all/as much. But you already made that mistake, and it would be fucked up to get rid of a dog because of its instinct.

just let the dog pee. Peeing is good.

I 5hink he is referring to the habit of male dogs to stop every 5 feet and pee during a walk. Like they don't even need to pee, generally they just dehydrate themselves with excessive peeing during the walk.

yeah but there's literally no way to explain to a dog that you don't want that to happen. It's an instinct and the guy on the other end just has a desire to stop it. He'd have to drag the dog along constantly.

I dunno my dog has seemed to figure out it is annoying, no real dragging just a light tug, like a tap on the shoulder. Now it's down to 4 pjsses in a 1 mile walk. Use to be like 15.
