Dog Smell

How come when my dogs are comfy and sleeping on a chair or couch or something, they emanate this doggo scent, not like of being dirty or stinky, but just the doge aroma. It's like they triple their pheromone or whatever smell molecule production when they get comfy. Like my dog is snoring on the other side of the room and I can smell him distinctly but when he's awake I can't.

yeah when he's just chilling in one spot for a while it's a doggo essence factory pumping out doggo in the area until he gets up and goes somewhere else

I have anecdotal evidence confirming the hypotheses in this thread. I have a small doggo in the other room and the room smells intensely of doggo.
