It’s more of a notion I’m trying to capture than something I can easily articulate. I’m young and my ideas are still forming and I’m still filled with conflicting interests. I like the idea of spiritual and primitive imagery made from media. Sort of like a cave painting in an age of constant chaotic and evolving media, advertisement, and entertainment that is in the long run forgettable that will probably all blend together as one clump of worthless shit that will no longer apply to anyone in a history book. Not like I won’t be forgotten, I just feel like it’s a weird cry for help. Idk that sounds pretentious as I read it but whatever it’s how I feel. There’s an element of paranoia too, the anxiety in this huge Japanese game show of a virtual culture. I really took inspiration from one the paranoids on here I see from time to time, the dude that has all of the Christian imagery made from Chinese stock images. A sort of panicked mockery of the sinister and manipulative crap you willingly fill your head with, which is way worse and noticeable in China (and possibly coming from it and every other greedy motherfucker who’d like to enslave us and make the beautiful west ugly)
Idk man, most of this I’m only realizing as I write it

pours are very in right now, they are the aerosol space scapes of yesteryear.

I recently made a few multi channel works, i want to use multi channels but i cant really find anything that grips it enough, ive done one on how male intellectuals are treated vs female intellectuals. ive done your pure A E S T H E T I C multi channel video which is really nice but has no substance.
The latest thing ive done is about politics and protests, im super iffy about it like it exists totally on the surface and there really isnt any meat behind it, but maybe there is?

I made a few sculptures recently, heres a pic of it. its not the greatest pic of it. you really would need to see it irl to take it all in.

Your work really captures the idea. I get tingly morrowind feel from this guy but some of your lighting and proportions feel a little 'out'. I'm no critic past the surface observation but your art style is unique and pleasing. You seem cut-out for the gaming world for sure. Have you got any 3D work?

I'm guessing we don't have a photography board, so this seems like the appropriate place to post. I've always preferred drawing and still spend most of my time doing that, but I also have a side passion for taking pictures. A reel is a reel, once you get more things to add to it you can change it and leave things out of it.

not a film student or even have a reel myself, but its the same idea as a portfolio, its what you have and it will help you get work, regardless of how "good" you think your stuff is.

Then how come 90% of the footfags I see making hentai go out of their way to make the feet with unrealistically disgusting anatomy.

Instead of becoming a freak, how about he study the form and shape the same exact way he studies it for hands, torso, head, etc. Feet have a lot of bones and detail that takes more time to sketch in general so OP is probably just lazy and doesn't want to learn the same way he's learned everything else.

If you're good at drawing sketches and you hypothetically wanted to get into being a professional tattoo artist, what new skills would you need to learn, what would you need to include in your portfolio, and how would you go about getting an apprenticeship?

Thanks in advance.

Im not into tattooing but know a girl who is. Your portfolio should consist of atleast, 1 animal, 1 face, 1 female, 2 textual works, 1 repetitive pattern (think Tribal tattoo) 2 completely original works of your own and then pad the rest till you get to 10 all up.

In regards to getting an apprenticeship, being a tattoo artist is kind of the "in" thing at the moment, go to your local store, take your portfolio and ask them if you'd be able to start and apprenticeship at their store.

Good luck!
