Judgmental people are shit. As long as people aren't harming other people I think it should just be.

Music and movies aren't going downhill, people are just listening to the internet too much. and watching too many mainstream movies and listening to the radio too much

Videogames are kinda going downhill. There's still awesome ones but a little less every year.

Life is precious and I dislike negativity massively.

A little better than the last few years. But mid 90s through early 2000s you got a constant stream of classics. I blame the fact of how expensive development costs are now. Tons of talented people still, I just think its harder to make a game now and that hurts the quantity of them you'll get.

I live in the middle of nowhere and it looks like fuckin Beijing on account of all the fires. It's been hazy all summer but getting worse lately. It would be pretty cool if my town had an ocean but I guess Beijing doesn't have one of those either. I think having an ocean would make all the smoke cooler, not like temperature-wise but in the sense of being more aesthetically pleasing. It looks cool sometimes even without an ocean but mostly it's just depressing and bleak. With an ocean it'd be depressing and bleak in a cool way, instead of just the normal way. What if the smoke refracted the light differently so the sky looked green. I don't know anything about science but I wouldn't mind a green sky either. If we got an ocean and the sky turned green, things would be looking up for me.

Wait fuck this is a high thought thread.

Let me access the monologue of thoughts in my head as I have inhaled combusted marijuanas.

Let the flow of freethinking individual collectivities incite the ramadan complex. Read not into basic looks but remember that all life originates within cosmic turtle eggs. Read David Brin it's got space monkeys sometimes. I wonder why we are so fascinated with intelligent monkeys and dolphins piloting space stations? Probably because it is cool as shit.

ok goodnight.

Gil Chesterton - Sat, 09 Sep 2017 13:15:38 EST ID:sVlGi/lg No.4607402 Ignore Report Quick Reply
God to me is the shared human consciousness that inhabits the brains of the people living together in a society. It lives much much older than humans, it evolves and through the guiding hand of evolution, humans are formed in its image. It's just like an organism that lives within the cells of a body that are humans. They live and die, they cluster together to form various organs, like police who are analagous to a body's immune system, or political organizations which are akin to its brain. When a society is wiped out, the God dies. Whatever gave those people the things that made them unique, that made them able to survive in their environment, that is gone.

The God consciousness is passed down through the human hivemind of a particular society, and when two societies, the God consciousnesses interact. They often end up warring with one another to determine who is stronger and they often end up mixing and joining, with one engufing and dominating the other, but still retaining some of the qualities of the original. The Gods are basically in the process of figuring out what configuration of society is most beneficial to the people within it. Earlier Gods were real savage and warlike because resources were scarce and progress could be made by warfare with little comparative risk to the overall God-society. Now cooperation is emphasized. The amount of empathy that a God-society has is a vital part of how well it will do. Too little and the parts of the hivemind will separate and fight amongst each other and never be able to band together and cooperate and will not be able to cooperate with other God-societies, too much and it will be torn apart. Most of the Gods these days have learned from the world wars that they do better by cooperating rather than fighting, but there's always posturing and minor scuffles.

Now it's kind of like all the Gods of the little unique cities and countries have been engulfed into one big one that retains the influences of the previous Gods which still hold old grudges. The hivemind has become more interconnected than ever and as a result more and more skirmishes have occurred but also history and understanding has been allowed to be passed down and for the most part things are trending towards control and unification, uniformity, but also loss of freedom for the people within the society. I guess God has a plan because things work out alright. We all have to do our part though, because that's how it works, we get a little section of the entire part of the God-consciousness all to ourselves, it uses us as hard drive space to store itself. We get lots of ancient wisdom imported from God but the price we pay is having our lives ruled by God, and by being completely shaped by God and a part of God. Most of us will be given a mundane ordinary life of little impact, but some of us will be blessed and a part of the God consciousness that will live on and spread throughout the human hivemind will be born in the fragment of God brewing within our brains and gain greater glory and immortality.

Random high thoughts eh?

The more acid I use, the less I feel that it's going to still be in my life after the next two or three breakthroughs. I really enjoy it, but I've got this feeling of impending "you don't need this anymore" or "you're nearing the end." I understand the why, and I can feel myself growing as a person after each dose, but I don't want it to end. It's like the last couple weeks of a fuckhuge project- things are wrapping up and less labor is needed; less to do, less getting done. Bittersweet as fuck. Wonder what's on the other side…

But what if it's the special mystery weed the drug dealers lace with another drug for free just to get you needing either more weed or more of the harder stuff like DARE taught me to think with their gay butthole spelunking seminars.

They wouldnt lace it with enough to kill people with a joint though, the ratio is gonna be fine even if it's PCP. If it's laced it's just to spice it up. So it's still safer than snorting mystery powders. Especially as a serious user with tolerance that takes doses you couldn't take probably wouldn't waste time with lacing weed with their stuff, they'd just shoot it for sake of efficiency.

I had a visionary dream today New York was on fire and the Statue of Liberty holding the torch set it off. It was a type of nuclear detonation, I didn't think NK could reach that far, anyway it was a real savant motion picture of it, special, I rarely get those, I'm not sure what's going to happen.

shit man.

does this mean a real life jurassic park wouldn't make it past the investment stage because the public would be too scared to go there in case of dinosaur escape?

what if aliens pick up transmissions from earth, and only see our disaster films, and decide never to invite us into the galactic federation because, as far as they're aware, everything humanity touches goes horribly horribly wrong?

fuck.

I was thinking an augmented reality Waifu simulator would be cool. software would run and communicate on your network and mobile phone to where your harem of anime girls would go about their lives, and gps would position them around the house and city. So you use your phone or smart glasses to see them but they're always somewhere.

You could turn the whole world into an ecchi catgirl paradise.

I find that really interesting... Do Otakus understand that the avatar on the other end of the screen is nothing more then a binary program with set responses to their actions?

I mean, you do you, I have no personal issues with people wanting to fall in love with a program; but wouldn't it get boring after a while? Knowing every response your partner will make under every circumstance.
Furthermore, how do these men feel, knowing that for as much as you care for this program, their are literally thousands of other men with the same shared interest in the same avatar. Does this result in jealousy or do their minds simple not think about it?

I find this whole thing to be gimmicky at best.

Replace ecchi catgirl paradise with pokemon or random other worlds (texture/model overlays for certain types of surfaces, like translating asphalt to dirt roads and building sides into dense trees, and now a city is a forest), and I'd buy a new one every month.

One time I said hey if food is especially good in a gay neighborhood what would happen if we got a group of flamboyantly gay men to attend a drum circle. Would it be an especially good drum circle? In response I was told it would change nothing, a drum circle could not be any gayer than how it is by default. I think later I asked what would it be like if there were a group of trannies in West Hollywood at a drum circle. What could be gayer than that? I suggested that the 8th level of ultraviolet light would become visible beyond the rainbow while that same guy suggested that it would just be....cosmopolitan
