I can choose which thoughts and the mindset I want to have, I'm assuming the wire is some kind of crime drama, I don't have interest in these types of stories, thus I don't need to watch them, I have other stuff to fill my inner-mythos with.
I think again, you are taking me too seriously, I don't actually think "the rabble" or the group consensus is some kind of dullard generalist decision, all art has meaning and purpose, from the laziest porn ad to a cinematic masterpiece. I simply was making a joke about there even being a "rabble" to begin with, which I dont honestly believe there is if I get to the facts. Look up the word "sonder". It's fun to pretend though, that "everyone else is stupid and dumb lol", idk, tons of humans do it so they must be getting a kick out of it somehow! It's part of the game, sometimes you want to play sometimes you don't.
So yeah, I don't have to go out and interact with some guy who makes meth, steals, cheats on his gf, and generally doesn't like his life, we are both on our own journey, if we were to interact for a long time our lifestyles and mindsets would simply clash unless some extra charisma was used, and since I have no desire to turn a man from his path (unless I guess if he asks me for help with something), then why waste my time. Like you, he would probably just assume I was a pretentious asshole who thought he was better than everybody....
So, slayer dudenheim, don't take internet comments so seriously. Esp. on the word salad bowl that is 420chan. |
