Profound simply well formed thought. I'm like pretty sure 60-70% of the board is okay with racisim. Maybe less if it's just that people don't bother calling them out when they see it.

Though the leftist shit flingerers come outta the woodwork if you mention anything about women or gay people. people don't like worm because he sucks at being a mod. Banning people as a "joke". Closing one thread but not closing another that is the same (if you need a hint he closes them based on the id of the poster).

Every aut light person on the internet starts replies to posts like an anime villain giving a monologue about their superior intelect and it just devolves into a poorly worded and punctuated tangent of talking points circling a drain until it just kind of ends with no real point being made.

I've see him ban people for no reason. Close an original thread but leave a duplicate up, close threads for no reason, closed a thread that could go somewhere else but not close another one that is very similar. He can't moderate because he's too busy being a petty bitch to people he knows don't like him. People know how game but don't wanna call him out on it because they scurrred

Do you not realize how much music influences people? for the youth in particular you can tell what styles are popular going by the appearances of the people in that environment. Look at a more closed of section of society such as a school. You'll find that there a groups and sub groups that all look and dress like each other. 20 years from now kids will probably look different because the music will be different but to deny that music has a huge influence onew the culture of a particular people you are blind.

That's why it's so important to foster the environment where you can attain another major socializing event in, say, university. The more open nature of such institutions is where a more nuanced view of social identity and a deeper understanding of global unity can begin to flourish. It's telling that so many people who miss out on this experience, often because of reasons entirely out of their control, often wind up in job environments that closely resemble the same cliques and circles that existed in their grade-schooling where they often were already an outcast. The tragedy is that those in most need of another socializing event and a paradigm shift in their thinking are often the ones barred from attending such institutions.

Universities aren't very open, and quite nepotistic. They're elite social clubs, too, and if you're an already outcast when you arrive, chances are you won't do much to convince them they're wrong. In fact, convincing the ivory tower it's wrong is pretty much impossible without a big wad of cash.

While I concede that certain university environments more so resemble adult day-cares than a place for flourishing ideas, there are still plenty non-elite colleges and universities across the nation that aren't flash points in the debate of the most toxic political viewpoints of today. I disagree firmly with you assessment that institutions of higher learning are ivory towers of elitist cash vacuums, and the most surface-screening research would reveal this to be the case. Such agenda pushing most likely arises from a conceited notion that people who can and will attain more promising avenues for their future success are somehow so much different than the majority of people.

Well, close-mindedness and ham-fistedness know no bounds even in arenas that are more fostering of change. Probably the best use of a degree is to get into a professional line of work where, at the very least, you can afford yourself the luxury of both money and time in which to pursue personal growth even after college.

Just from being on the inside and looking around this is mostly true. There are though some good minded people who go through college who don't not have help from an outside hand it it much harder for those that do not have a connection and success also comes from helping hands in such universities. Can you blame mommy and daddy for not wanting their child to be another fast food worker or doing factory work? The big dream millilenial jobs for awhile were in the entertainment business. with social media it's a lot easier to become famous than ever. So there's a lot of options and data says this age group is dropping out of society. This could easily be changed with raising minimum wage. These old fucks don't know what's good for the country.

The academic environment offers a plethora of skills and socialization that is helpful to the working professional world for those that seek it. It's not that there aren't other avenues to attain such skills, but usually this requires more of the individual in terms of work and experience. Such things are offered in good demand on campuses for those who venture out of their dormitories. There are plenty of people hoping to achieve the goals that many should have already set in their minds upon first enrolling. Perhaps more is demanded by high school extracurriculars to teach these goals instead of leaving so many put-out with no real idea of what to do next. However, the way grade school education is funded in this country, that seems unlikely.

Actually, the academic environment is rife with bullying, ostracization, academic dishonesty, and has a cliquey subculture to it that leaves academics unprepared for the working world.

By whose account. Yours? Institutions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. There are plenty of colleges that have internships built-in to their programs. As always, it is the duty of the individual to do their own research and not merely be swayed by the anecdotes of those with obvious agendas.

And which institutions are those. Just curious. Also are you a college graduate yourself you seem to have a vast knowledge of the educational network that surpasses even those in charge themselves. Tell me more about your success as a 420 Chan poster college drop out working in fast food. Idiot.

I mean apart from the scandal I basically was paid to do other people's homework at several of them and communicated with others at other colleges to achieve this. I'm willing to bet money that many rich kids at ivies do this, though certainly not all.

it's a wild story and dubious, but of course that happens. one thing you can't do in graduate school is get other people to do your homework for you since you're who has to present your research and work at the institution itself or a company. clearly this happens at ivy league universities where the prestige is in the name, but certainly not all are doing this. the effort to get in surpasses the efforts to cheat except for the truly rich people whose parents donate vast sums of money. i didnt go to a very fancy school, just a nice school that employers know puts out hard-workers. very metropolitan and incorporated within the city itself

It doesn't hurt that most of these papers are like falling off a log easy if you have the textbook and free time.

I actually don't hate him as much as I pretend to. He's like a crossing guard trying to direct traffic when a whole bunch of crazy people on drugs show up, it's just hilarity ensues all day.

lol i actually like this kind of nerd stoner. I knew this dude for the longest time. He was into all the same things like FPS games, weed, similar music and movies. But he just absolutely refused to do anything except the standard haircut, black t-shirt with maybe some aggressive design, jeans and vans. AFAIK he still dresses and looks like that.
