Or does it?
Learn from history or herstory.

Isn't the word "his" historically speaking gender neutral? Then as English evolved over time, the male variant of his was removed and his itself became male?

IIRC, there's something about the word werewolf that refers to the original way the English gendered words.

If you're really confused about this you can Google it. It's not as complicated as you seem to think.

miscegenation is hot as fuck. Listen kid, I figure the best thing you can do is listen to your penis. Your penis doesn't discriminate then you shouldn't either.

i don't understand why the idea that language changes over time is so incomprehensible to people, i hate to do a both sides but people who bitch about "hey guys" being gendered language are coming from the exact same place as people who say that singular they is "just wrong" and also words and parts of words can have more than one meaning, "man" as in a male person and "man" as in "mankind" don't have the same etymology, it just seems like a distraction, the world is on fire and 20 people own half the wealth but lets bitch about pronouns and what we should call mailmen

“they” is plural. I can call many people they but not one person.

deal w/ it

Actually, language has changed to accommodate gender-nonspecific pronounces such as 'they'. It's use in the singular form is both grammatically and technically correct. Deal with it.

So who decided how I will talk? Language is not standardized it is fluid.

if it is a bunch of genderqueer dudes and/or ladies I will use “they”. If it is one I will use the singular “this”.

deal w/ it.

The entire point of my post is that language is fluid and that 'they' has been singular for a long ass time now, like since I was in primary school.

What a Reuben thing to say, not knowing that a "grammar school" is not literally a school that solely teaches grammar.
