Hi hope im not breaking any rules here, just got a couple of inquiries:

I've had IV midazolam a couple of times and I loved it, now I have a steady supply of lorazepam, what does /benz/ think of this chemical?

Pros/cons and some subjective info is appreciated.

Fuckin' love it. For me, my *only* complaint was that it didn't last quite as long as I had wanted it to (qq, every drug serves a different purpose), but that's all personal preference and purpose for use related. Now that I'm trying to do some adulting, I see more appeal in the idea that it doesn't last for my entire fuckin' day. Pop one for me, good sir.

Thanks fella tomorrow evening im popping one in your name, im itching to see what im in for, I've had bad experiences in the past with valium and xanax, but iv midazolam made me see that benzos can be beautiful.

What was your issue with them?
Benzos certainly can be beautiful. It's been quite a while since I've been able to use any. I miss them dearly.

Hate it, least favorite by leagues compared to other 3 big benz prescribed in states. It gives me this really weird morose like feeling after I take it that lingers, almost like benadryl which does the same. It kind of almost makes me feel worse. It's pretty weak too. I don't know why it makes me feel off, dosage doesn't seem to matte either. It definitely still has u see though.

I'd assume the "big 3" are diazepam, alprazolam, and clonazepam then?

My issues with valium where that it felt like something dirty that didnt even get me high at any dose, only made me feel mind numbed. Then alprazolam on the other hand knocks the fuck out of me, my first benzo was a 2mg football xanax with beer for w/d and I felt close to death lol.

>>148972
You have been a decent friendly anon around /opi/ for a while so your opinion has been very noticed, but idk if I can agree with you on this, if you tell me that IV mid is terrible then I think we just might have different highs in mind. Couldnt wait till tomorrow so yesterday I took 2mgs of lorazepam as a taster and it felt quite decent, couldn't tell much about how its gonna be at higher doses. Might be that sleepy cozzy sedation of mid, from what data I gathered Mid and Lora have the 5 properties of benzos or some shit, like ansiolitic, sedative, seizure, etc.

So idk man, big respect for being a wholesome anon, but if you say that xanax and valium are better than Lora, then I agree to disagree.

Id rather get high on ambien

I thought you were taking about lorazepam which it says on the title of thread not midazolam, I've only had IV midazolam in the hospital so I can't speak on it much but I'd imagine it's good

Sorry I might not have been clear:

> if you tell me that IV mid

like telling you that the day you say that we will never agree on this lmao.
I still feel curious about your preferred benz

The kind of feeling you described for valium is similar to what lorazepam does to me. I would still take it 10 times out of 10 if no other benz was around but it's def not my favorite. Neither is valium for some reason, feels like I never get the intended effect and just get tired which I guess should be expected. Klonopin is probably my favorite, has decent strength along with decent duration. Have you checked out any charts that discuss the equivalency of lorazepam to something like Xanax? I believe it's stronger mg per mg than lorrazepam but I forgot how much just to give you a heads up

I've looked at some charts but I didnt find them particularly useful like opiates equianalgesics, that being said I saw something about there being 5 traits to benzos and midaz and loraz both were in that category,

I always thought it was something like 2mg loraz is about equal to 1mg Xanax, maybe a little closer to each other but I'm bad at math. How have you been enjoying them so far? Today is one of those days I miss benzos since I woke up with horrible nausea and anxiety.

I've only ever had them in psych wards, they're pretty good but anything would be in that situation, I like at low doses at least they're a bit more anxiolytic and a bit less sedating than diaz or alp, but again I've never taken it with a clean head

Ativan is quite garbage. It's IME slightly faster hitting than valium, but isn't very physically impairing like xanax, doesn't have almost any of the muscle relaxation of valium, and anxiolytic effects weaker than that of xanax, etizolam, and somewhat weaker than valium.

I'm on a whopping 6-7mg ativan right now after 8-9 day T break (last doseage was 4mg ativan), and there's almost no pseudoeuphoria that I feel from xanax/etiz (especially etic), and almost no muscle relaxation like valium (though more of that than say etiz).

The only thing I enjoy using ativan for is to mix alongside xanax, etiz, or valium in 1:1 equal potency ratios. This allows the ativan to potentiate without "taking over"/dominating the high.

It feels better than being sober, but it's not as enjoyable as most other benzos. I miss xanax/etizolam.

Yeah my doc switched me from 2mg joins to 3mg loraz/per day

Blew through all 90mg in a few days it's really not that great, very low abuse potential

Op here thanks for the input, I got a similar impression out of it, it only got me somewhat high the very first day as my tolerance was 0, but lately its been no good, I only black out and wake up hours later (with tramadol) but cant remember shit, I seriously was at a loss when I came back to a videogame and couldnt remember any of my progress.t

Sorry for my poor english. I'm from Finland and I have a slight dyslexia.

I have bought alprazolam, diazepam and clonazepam from the street to help my social anxiety (clonazepam is my clear favourite), but I finally went to doctor to talk about my problems since I'm poor student and don't want to use all of my spare money on overpriced streetbenzos. I don't eat benzos daily, but my soxial anxiety has had huge negative effects on my university studies so sometimes I need them. The doctor prescribed oxazepam, but I have found that they barely help with my anxiety so I talked about this to one nurse and she recommend that I would ask lorazepam from my doctor the next time I meet her. That is why I'm also really interested to hear what kind of experiences people have with this drug.

For me it completely eliminates my usual social anxiety and also makes me feel a bit "lighter", also helps a ton with falling asleep. Though of course I also work out and don't drink or take any other drugs outside of Ritalin. I think combined with a decent lifestyle and diet it can help greatly with anxiety, but if you're just looking to get fucked up and take other drugs with or next to it, it won't be good enough.

OP here, I've taken it so I could sleep without getting anxiety over my cockroach infested building, for the record I keep my house very clean, its a general problem among neighbours. I was incredibly neurotic when I found one in my cereal box at night and it was the last thing I had to eat, so I downed half a bottle of wine with a mg of loraz and a joint to the face and slept like a baby.

I think >>149132 is probably right, it serves its purpose, but it didnt potentiate tramadol the slightest, dosing massively is ineffective, just a bit to offset the seizure risk is enough, THAT BEING SAID ITS AN EXTREMELY AMNESIAC DRUG.
