I'm pretty new to benzos, I've got access to attivan and clonazepam.
which one do you prefer, how much should i take, and what kinda effects can i expect from either?

There are several threads on the first page literally asking your exact question. Have you considered posting in one of those instead of nudging an innocent thread off the cliff that is page 17? lol

nb, but definitely start with ativan, lower the dose the better (start with 1-1.5mg), no more than once a week and three times per month. Alternate between the two drugs to help slightly reduce tolerance via imperfect cross tolerance.

Clonazepam is roughly twice as strong as lorazepam mg for mg, and most will say that clonazepam hits "harder," is more impairing, and for most more enjoyable. However, it lasts longer than lorazepam, so it fucks your tolerance a bit more than lorazepam.

I say start with lorazepam because your low/no tolerance will get the best use out of it. So you might as well enjoy ativan one dose every weekend or less for a while before busting out the clonazepam. Try to take a bit longer T-break after clonazepam usage, so more like 10-14 days (instead of the 7-10 day wait after lorazepam).

If you don't patiently wait, you'll gain tolerance pretty quickly. These drugs last a long time in your system. Look up their half-lives.

Don't snort either. Lorazepam isn't water soluble. Start with the lorazepam since you have nearly 0 tolerance. Try 2mg your first time and then wait a week before taking it again.

Also that poster is from SF in the early 70s so add a lot of LSD

Sorry idk why I was so mean. I think ativan might have higher water solubility than most of the others, but that solubility level is still far too low to be practical.

The oonly ones I know of for sure with higher nasal/rectal BA than oral BA are triazolam and midazolam, There might be others (particularly RC variants), but I haven't read or heard about them.
