I'm a non binary person pre medication I live in the UK having done some research on the web, is it possible to achieve the asthetic i want by taking low doses of E whilst complementing with an anti androgen? How does one go about seeing a specialist like, I've heard the term gender therapist thrown around a bit. Remember I'm in the UK and I'm kind of lost as to where to start to make the transition MTN. I don't really want to self medicate as I believe it would be careless. Having some advice from a professional would be an ideal. Where do I start? At my Gp? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Very smart, facial hair removal via laser or electrolysis will do more for your transition than any estradiol and anti-androgen will.

Hi I'm non-binary.

I came out and transitioned a while years ago before things like "genderqueer" and "non-binary" were even really a thing. I'm grateful and fortunate i guess that i'm asian and pass well, so the whole thing went pretty quick for me and in like a year and a half i was "living full-time". I went from pretty standard girl-next-door femme to soft-butch, to leather dyke, to faggotty alien drag creature, in presentation over a few years and now my gender is really all over the place.

I mean, I guess for a while i was just like "oh, i'm just kind of a soft-butch dyke" but really it's more than that. I don't know how to put it in words, but I don't really care what pronouns people use for me. Somedays I dress to influence people to read me more like "he" sometimes more like "she". and sometimes to really intentionally be completely ungenderable (honestly kinda tricky; brains *really* want to fall on one side or the other; like the optical illusion is either in or out but it's hard to see both)

My doctors and endocrinologists hate me <shrug> I'm not going to lie you're going to have a really weird time with the medical establishment. I had an orchiectomy early on so I don't take spiro, but I am on a low dose of estrogen. I try to stay really on top of exercise to keep up what little T-levels I do have, it seems to help. I also do make it a point to "practice"(?) getting hard regularly. I've taken a testosterone shot once experimentally, I'm thinking about getting on a low-dose of T and E. It's not unheard of for post-menopausal cis-females so supplement with both; so I honestly don't see any reason it should be that much more dangerous for a trans person outright. I also do know of some post-op transfemme folks who are on a combination of both, and a few transmasc folks who take a combination of both as well.

Also, seconding hard the laser/electrolysis suggestion. A beard, stubble, even just freshly shaven beard shadow are really powerful gender cues. I really feel like more than even hormones or clothing, a beard "anchored" my gender as male.

I always recommend that someone start with hair removal and their appearance. There are tons of people who have been on hormones for years that dont pass. It sucks being an ugly bearded lady. If you start with electrolysis or laser you remove all chances if being a bearded lady.

Try AllDayChemist. iirc they have a flat rate shipping on $50, but it makes it up for it with cheaper prices (IHP combine their prices with shipping to make shipping 'free')

I've heard sketchy things about ADCs spiro not being as good, but that could just be FUD.

I live in the UK, so I've used QHI.co.uk without issues (they might ship abroad), only problem is they want to you fax a signed consent form, which can be a little awkward library visit, since they are the only people who own fax machines anymore.

sorry if this is incoherent, benzed to the gills.

I only visit 420chan for /wooo/ however I sometimes visit other boards, when I'm bored. Please help about 5 years there was a fad here where an advice "trans kitty" or something like was attached. And image read something like "Take all your hormones AT ONCE". It was similar to advice hipster cat, the cat was wearing a scraf on head. Can anybody send me the picture, I want to show to cool trans friend, because she's a little depressed to cheer her up. Sorry for my bad english.

When sleeping on your side
Men having Female Hips actually aligns, balances and straightens out their Spinal Cord.

Also if you ride a motorcycle into an accident and you go flying out of your motorcycle landing your side on the pavement

Having Hips would protect your Sacral Hip Bone.

it is okay for men to have wide hips, it is okay for females, too

it is okay for men and women to have narrow hips, and they aren't necessarily having a weaker posture or structure because of it.

it is okay for you to have "female hips" without trying to use medical justifications, you can have female hips just because you like having your own female hips. i think sometimes we want to justify our nature so much to people who look down on us that we try to use science and shit to back us up.

if someone has a problem with your hips, that's their problem. sway them as you walk away and enjoy your life, and leave that person to feel miserable and picky about other people's bodies.

we don't need science either to justify trans/gay/bi/etc (natural vs. unnatural), we are okay being who we are simply because we are who we are

After few years of HRT I developed wide hips and I'm grateful for it. My body type changed from inverted triangle to hourglass. I love it, sometimes I enhance it even more with harem trousers. Sometimes I feel more up to skinny fitting clothing. But most importantly, I'm happy and passing way better.

I am currently on 0.1mg Estradiol patches which I switch out every Sunday as well as 2 spironolactone pills a day which I take in the morning. I've been on the Estradiol for almost six months now and within the first three months my testosterone has dropped significantly. I've been on spironolactone for around three months and I have an endocrinologist appointment on 15 December 2017.

I think I noticed some subtle changes, but I am unsure. I think my butt region has started to get larger or rounder since I noticed my underwear started to feel small when laying in bed. I think I also have breast buds starting to develop and I think my face started to get slender then where it was months ago. My mother also noticed these changes which makes sense I heard that other people would notice things that you won't,

How much longer before I grow into my body, /cd/?

Pic is a picture of my medication that I posted for another community that I go to. I was too lazy to take another picture of it so I decided to just reuse it here. The heart dotted I's are just to see if anyone there notices. I don't dot my I's with hearts.

So I am finally having my orchi in a couple of weeks and I would like to know your experiences with it if you already had one. I am having a subcapsular orchiectomy which is supposed to be quick and safe and doesn't leave a scar on your inner thighs like an inguinal orchi does.

What's it like? And I mean how long does the healing take, when the swelling goes down, what's it like being on the operating table, when can you shower/exercise again, when it's safe to have your bp pounded etc etc etc?

Also does anyone know if having what's almost an empty sack attached to your body for the rest of your life safe? I am not planning SRS so I am a little scared that whatever stuff is left there may get cancerous over the time.

Damn, that's a ridiculously nice offering. I wish that SRS was like that, not having that big price tag because they remove less stuff. If it could cost just half as much and involved leaving the erectile tissue the way it is, then the whole surgery dillema wouldn't be such a dillema.

Futa surgery you mean? Might be pretty cool actually.
I wonder if any SRS doctors would agree to do that.

Well, futa surgery would also involve grafting skin from elsewhere to replace that what's used for the neovagina. But, well ... let's suppose that was to be done "eventually"/"soon". The point is it being cheaper from the phallus not getting truncated. It might also be more jehovah's-witness-friendly from less blood being lost, or at least less blood loss per surgery session.

One thing I noticed both from here and on /lgbt/ is that it seems like everyone has a different definition of passing. To me I took passing to me that people see you for who you are without doing that much effort, but from what I've seen with amazing makeup work it seems like anyone could pass in the public's eye. Your definition of a hon makes sense to me. There is an older woman on the bus that I see often times that I sometimes question if they are trans, but it doesn't feel right making that assumption since I've seen older cis women look old and wrinkly. Like for example, for whatever reason, I think Patricia Davis passes for a woman her age. I still sometimes think of Benjamin Franklin, but she looks like a more feminine version of Benjamin Franklin to me. Even someone like Christine Chandler could sometimes look feminine to me and other times make me think of B. Frank. I feel like an asshole for even writing this post, but I legitimately think I have a case of gender blindness.

Hair, Skin, and Nails

Growth hormone and IGF-1 stimulate the growth of hair, nails, and skin. Several patients have reported rapid growth of nails and hair, to the point that the have to visit the barber shop more frequently. Many have reported thicker and healthier hair and nails as well. But let's get right to the point - most of us want to know how to get rid of those wrinkles. This is a process that is more likely to occur with long term use and with other supportive nutrients. However, we have observed significant reduction in wrinkles in men and women within as little as 4 weeks. I have seen patients in their 70's and 80's transform their complexion from gaunt, colorless, and wrinkled to plump, healthy, and smoother in a very short period of time. Yet, I have seen others who don't seem to show such dramatic signs of improvement. What's the difference?

Many of my patients are using nutritional protocols that include large doses of vitamin C, bioflavanoids, and amino acids like proline and lysine, which are components of collagen - the "glue" for skin cells that help to maintain firmness and strength. Other patients are not supplementing with these important raw materials for collagen synthesis and have had a history of smoking and excess sun exposure, which breaks down collagen. There appears to be a difference in the way that these two groups of people respond to Symbiotrophin in terms of wrinkle reduction, but there may be other influences that are not fully understood. It will be interesting to see if, over a longer period of time, we will see more consistent smoothing of skin.

How come western trans never look as good as asian trans?
Nell Himmlelot - Sun, 19 Nov 2017 01:56:09 EST Mh9Cu0qP No.404430 Reply

It really just depends on what floats your boat. But asian men tend to be shorter and have more feminine features, where as western men tend to be the same as the average western man. Men are typically attracted to people shorter than them and so as you can see in this video they give you the perspective of you looking down at them, which can also trigger attractiveness in men.

So i hope that has helped clear things up.
Clara Ginninglirk - Mon, 20 Nov 2017 17:33:22 EST kdCiOVPk No.404434 Reply

assuming you're not asian, it's also more difficult to clock people of other races, because chances are, you were raised around people who were mostly of your race, and are better at recognizing "feminine" and "masculine" features of your race.

So the distinction between gender and sex has been made pretty clear. Sex is determined by biology while gender is determined by society and your role within it. Doesn't that then make passing a prerequisite to truly transitioning? If you perform the female role but look like a dude, society is not going to treat you like a woman, they're going to treat you like a third gender, a trans. Liberals will embrace you and trot you out to their friends and family to show how tolerant they are, conservatives will call you names and misgender you, but neither treats you like a woman, that is, unless you pass.

Sorry if this offends anyone, that is not my intention.
