Also, we see ourselves constantly and so have hours on end to be critical of every minute aspect of our appearance, but to everyone else we're a vague blur in their memory. Do you remember what the clerk at the last store you went to looked like? Or the last person you bumped into on the street? You have to see someone a lot to start building a mental image of them that would include things like the width of their shoulders or their jaw shape. Most people barely recognize that other people exist, and they certainly don't give a shit what they look like.

You can get surgery on your vocal cords to shorten them, which removes the lower register of your voice. But as with all surgery, it is risky, has a long recovery period, and you can achieve similar results by doing vocal exercises.

What war? There is no war - something like 0.6% are transgender and all of the infighting is online which means basically isn't real. There's just doctors treating trans people according to WPATH and a whole lot of DIY'ers. There's a need for a speedier informed consent process for sure but that's far from a war.
