Two filters on one fan with a Y or T pipe also work btw, just keep in mind the cfm ratings.

I'm having issues with contamination, specifically green mold. I'm using grain bags, washing hands before inoculation, used the alcohol swabs, flame sterilized the needle etc, but it just keeps happening, are there any more ways to prevent this?

Read about non-sterile mushroom growing technique, given the right environment, the mushroom will have no problem out competing other micro organisms

Sterilize your substrate on your own, it's easy and you can exclude one fuck-up factor out of your equation. That leaves you with the spores, try different vendors and maybe try to get both, syringes and spore prints. You just need one successful run to keep this going for as long as you want to

I tried two seperate vendors for both spores and substrate. Althought I got the spores off ebay so thats probably why they weren't up to standard. Its very hard to find decent vendors here even online.

So there's a cherry tree and a peach or plum tree what needs looking after.

They used to be fed with mirical grow which I'm guessing was probably the wrong food because they hardly ever yield much fruit.

Now I'm having them I'm thinking I should dig out most of the soil and put in some fertiliser.

What's the correct way to fix them.
Should I just pick up a bag of bone and fish meal and pour it in ? Or maybe get some horse poop and replace most of the soil with that.

You could at least take them out and check the rootball, and reduce it if necessary
If you insist on growing the trees in pots you should look a for low nitrogen fertilizer, nitrogen makes the plant grow, but it dont make it bear fruit, phosphor and potassium does. These are often called flowering / fruit / vegetable fertilizer.
Get pellets and follow the instructions.

If it's a slightly cold (10-15c) rainy day, (albeit lightly) and I don't water a plant that day at the roots as I usually do during flowering, will the plant be less likely to develop bud rot as a result (will they absorb more moisture through the leaves)? Or am I just fucking my yield over?

whens its cold during the fall and i have pot plants that are still growing i water with warm water about 100-110ºF to get the soil temperature up a little if the rain is enough to saturate the soil anyway. i grow in pots, might no be a good idea if you're in the ground. after it stops raining i wait a few days before watering.

cant make out any contamination

but more importantly why would you make cakes with corn. the vermiculite in PF cakes serves to retain water, pure grain doesnt store enough water in such a shape.
that is most likely the reason why your mycelium looks unhealthy, too little water content.
id bet that the only way youd get primordia to form would be to roll those puppies in verm to encourage a proper microclimate.

if you really have to use corn, grind it and use it to replace the BRF in of pf cakes.

Hi /crops/

Since about a month ago, I planted some seeds i got from an ounce of regular skunk I got.
I managed to grow 2 plants from those seeds but one has grown this seed shape balls you can see in the picture. It is my second time growing (first one was a success) and I never saw this with the other plants.

Is it possible that the plant has sexed in such an early stage?
If not what is going on? Should i be concerned?

I'm planning to grow 3-5 plants and as a first timer, and also a cheap ass, my plan is to grow inside a pc case. Since decent HID or cfl lights plus electricity are more than what i can afford, I'm considering sticking red and blue LED strips on some cardboard and attatching it to the top of the case. My question is if this is viable and what wattage and wavelength should I be looking for?

That is if the filter isn't crap. If it is an actual filter meant to be used 24/7 and under high static pressure, which leaves out kitchen ventilation stuff that can be run under a axial fan.
If it isn't a filter meant to be used with a radial fan it's crap, if it isn't a radial fan it's crap.

Chemmy weed

File: 1515746127368.jpg -(1374218B / 1.31MB, 3344x4328) Thumbnail displayed, click image for full size. Chemmy weed
If weed smells like strong chemicals, what could have went wrong in the growing process? The flower itself smells odd, and after leaving it in a jar and smelling it, it's absolutely revolting, yet sweet too, because it's still good flower. It's GG#4 and it looks absolutely amazing. The weed had a good high.

Anyway, I'm going back to tell him, but I doubt he knows whats going on. So what the fuck is going on?

Another note:
A few months ago, I tried this other weed from someone else that we didn't realize smelled like chemicals. However, when smelling directly on the flower itself, it just smelled strange. It made our hearts beat fast, made us feel fast/jittery, made me talk very fast, we felt anxious, and the next day we felt out of it as if we did some cocaine, ecstasy, or amphetamine. I left it in a jar and I just opened it today, and that chem smell was so strong it almost made me barf. I know that ammonia can smell from mold, (I eat brie cheese, so I'm used to it) but I think it's something else.

i'm not even going to ask which chemicals you're thinking of cause i know its not ethyl methylphenylglycidate because i know what GG4 smells like when its done right. diesel bus exhaust, raw fuel and a hint of chocolate and honeydew is a pretty good description. if you want an ethyl methylphenylglycidate flavor i'd try moscaseeds "old time bubblegum".
