Including the price of land (assuming I also lived on the same piece of land) how much would it cost approximately to start a fully functional greenhouse/farm in a legal state?

Using these bags for mushrooms

I bought my shroom spores the other mo th and still haven't got around to buying all the equipment for it so for now I'm just going to buy and use these bags.

Now when I do use them once they are colonised do I just open them up and spray them daily and put them on top of a heat matt.
Or should I open them up and put them into a tub sort of like what you do with the monotubs ?

Also how much of the spores should I inject into them ? Syringes I have are 9ml and they're only cheap so I was thinking of just putting all that into the 4 bags.

this one looks fine but i just skimmed through amazon. does this count as sourcing pls no ban me mods. do mods even ever come here.
might be a bit low on the diameter for bags but i recommend wrapping bags in a cotton or linen bag anyways to prevent it from melting.

another tangent while were already on the topic of vapour pressure, you can also use rye to make your own whiskey

Ok so I've found out properly of a friend what to do.

You can either be lazy open the bag when full colonised, soak it over night, drain it,place on heat mat then just open an spray it daily until you have your goodies. But you won't get many this way.

Best way is once it's soaked you just making a fruiting chamber.Get a 25L rectangle type tub,put a few inches of perlite in it then put then put the cakes in it but on a bit of tin foil.
Wet the perlite daily, let it get some light even from a lamp and oh ye put some holes on the side of it.
Unsure if it needs a lid or not,if it doesn't then why more holes on the side

What sort of yield would I expect to get from this ? Using my Thai koh strain first.

>press
Cheers for that find think I'll buy that at the end of the month.

Think I've got cubes, equidors and this Thai strain.
When I had my grow kit last year the cubes and equidor produced the most mushrooms.Cubes where the biggest and the equidor ones seemed more denser.

What's the script on extraong pailocybin from the cake after you've got as many shrooms from it as you can ? Seen it could be done but just skimmed over it on shroomery.

Another question how do truffles compare to shrooms ?

I'm going to Amsterdam very soon and I was just going to buy the strongest box (because I think it will be hyped up.Ive done acid many times and low dose shrooms about 10x(2-3.5gs)

aaaand now you lost me
are you talking about a shotgun fruiting chamber?
and in said fruiting chamber youll put your big bag blocks of mycellium?

no idea about yields with that approach, with regular half pint PF cake the common MAX yield is 5g dry per cake. since a block with such a volume has a lower surface area than individual 1/2 pint cakes youre probably getting more flushes over a longer time

>Think I've got cubes, equidors and this Thai strain.
those are all psilocybe cubensis, commonly called cubes?
like shibes and dalmations are both domestic dogs

>extracting
i think the most practical approach to get pure alkaloids would be to dry, pulverize, stir in dilute heated acetic acid, basify with sodium bicarbonate, extract with ether, reduce the extract and rerystallize the extract with heptane/chloroform.
but that was for fruiting bodies, extracting a block of spent BRF Verm mycellium will be a waste of time and love. just dry it and use it as fertilizer for your garden.

>truffles
sclerotia is less potent by dry weight and normally is sold wet, so youd need a lot more weight to get the same amount of alkaloids. but on a positive note it normally tastes way better. a bit nutty with citric tones. since sclerotia is produced by different psilocybe species you might have to google a bit, and dont rely on the bullshitty labels they put on there, like: 4/10 emotional trip, 7/0 philosophical trip etc

I accidentally posted this on /weed/ instead of here but anyways, SWIM has a micro grow and isn't sure how to trim and cure it. The instructions online only give them information on drying regular sized grows. Should I do it the same way or does anyone have a recommended way to harvest? The plant has about 2 grams maximum on it

Pic related, it's the plant in question

Cut it at the base and hang it with a clothes hanger on a line, put a small fan beneath it circulating air around it but not blowing directly on it. Give it a week to dry on the line, then give it another week to 10 days to cure the way you decide to cure it.

Cotyledon...also known as the seed leafs are the first leafs to appear upon sprouting

its good you havent been hacking and cutting up your little man i'm sure amateur retards will tell you to go ahead and just pluck them off but each one of your leaves serves as a powerhouse of production

any irritation or disturbance of these organic solar panels will...as logic follows...reduce input and thus effect output...more importantly it will shock your plant...you might consider each leaf an arm of your plant...how long would it take you to go back to shitposting if someone chopped off a finger?

unless you're doing some sort of scrog / topping experiment i'd just let them ride until they naturally decide they are ready to fall

I don´t know if this is normal for a peyote that´s recently flowered.

It got some craks here and there and some small brown spots. I have cut back on the watering and nutritions, and tried to keep it more humid. I hope it helps. I live in northern Europe so there is a lack of sun right now.

Thinking of how to hide a cannabis pot by the river next to my home.

so i live by a small stream that pretty much flows all year, and get bigger with the scarce rains that fall here, its surrounded by lots of reeds and can be a perfect hiding spot for a grow...

Now my idea was to germinate at home and when the plants have grown a bit in their pots place them on the shallow edge of the water so that most of the soil is out and just the bottom would be wet by the stream so i would not have to go water them every time, could this work?

would the plants roots survive this as would a plant on the edge of a river or something? or do i need to do sometyhing different?

how would you do it?

I grow catgrass in the bottom of the plant so it stays constantly moist and nice down there and ive noticed that the whole bottom is now coated with mycelium and smells like mushrooms. Is there any chance at all that this will ever go into fruiting again...? or do i basically just have a very moldy plant now? thanks for any info i really cant find info on fruiting mushrooms in this way or if it is at all possible thanks!

You're overwatering and the plants are suffocating because of that. A plant that small doesn't need to be watered daily, once every two weeks should be enough.

It's my first time growing so i knew i would make mistakes.
I have this probleme, can you tell me what it is? I used Janeco light mix, i have a 400W lamp, the top of my plants are at 40cm of it, i extract 400 m3, im at 60 to 50% humidity.
I put 2L of water in 9L pots every 4-5 days (when i feel the dirt is dry), im at week 3 of bloom, i put 3mL of fertilizer per L of water every two watering. I add a PK booster 0-52-33 since last week every two watering too. Those traces appeared 3 weeks ago on one plant and now its on all my "Amnesia" plants (5 of them)
I can give you more details, more pictures if needed

If you don't have a meter and you set your water by color strips or drops, then you add humic and fulvic acids, those drive it way down really quickly the same way if you add silicate it will drive it way up.

In soil 6.2-6.5 is optimal, some strains are a lot more forgiving than others. The wrong ratio of cal/mag can mess things up too if it's way off. That leaf looks mottled like a potassium or phosphorous problem, it usually doesn't affect just half of the leaf though. Potassium, magnesium and sulfur take the biggest hit when you dip below 5.5 ph in soil.

YOU DIDN'T update on how your plants are doing. I say stop all fertilizer before you destroy them, they most definitely have had enough nutrients. All these companies try to sell you their over priced fertilizer but remember there's tons of nutrients already in the soil. It's ok to supplement a bit but too much is too much and can be more detrimental than too little nutrients. Also, your pots look kinda shallow, I believe in deep large pots.

Just wondering exactly how to inoculate these bags. It has a black injector port, with tape over it, do I peel back the tape, inject then put the tape back, or do I just inject through the tape and cover the hole with some of my own tape?

The instructions for the grow kit do not say anything about tape, and in the pictures it appears they have just stuck the needle through the tape and the port and not bothered to cover with more tape. I know some use the self healing injector ports, but I can't find any indication the one I has is self healing nor do I know what a self healing injector port is.

if its a self healing injection port, meaning that the material recloses when you withdraw the syringe, you dont have to bother with tape.
