I got some questions, this top nug has lost all its orange hairs, all its crystals and all its sticky. New buds have formed and have gotten bigger but this one hasn't done anything to show progress. It flowered prematurely and then created new budsites a few weeks after and those new buds are bigger and covered in crystals. Is it time to chop that top gram?

How long has it been since you first saw the first pistils (white hairs)? It will usually be 8 weeks from there minimum before it's ready. Once it's getting close to that time, the best way to tell is by checking the color of the trichomes up close with magnification. A jewlers loupe is what people usually use, but a regular magnifying glass or a pair of binoculars used backwards should also work. You want at least half of the trichomes to be either milky or amber, not clear. Make sure you look at the trichomes on the buds not the leaves.

You can also see it if you can make a well focused macro shot.
