This is typically done by topping the plant aka cutting off the top during veg so that it forms a symmetrical shape from the lower branches that remain. You can do this several times but on autoflowers usually just once is all you have time for. You can use other stuff like ties or a screen to arrange your plant how you want it to grow also. >> Jarvis Pickgold - Fri, 27 Nov 2020 14:27:27 EST QFipXPsX No.147470 Reply When planting seeds to coco perlite mix should I use some calmag?I know that I have to use it later when it starts to sprout, but I wonder if the calmag would kill the seedling >> Eliza Clirrydock - Sat, 28 Nov 2020 09:35:07 EST Q70Ij+r6 No.147471 Reply >>147470why not put it in afterwards? >> Hamilton Cleddletin - Sat, 28 Nov 2020 11:41:46 EST QFipXPsX No.147472 Reply >>147471Exactly, I just read some bullshit online that the seedlings will die if i don't feed it calmag when germinating.I thought the seed was supposed to have everything it needs inside it, and I'm going with that strategy right now. But you're right, it should have everything it needs inside the cotyledon. And if you use those liquid "calmag" bottles, it usually has a some nutes and other shit mixed in, so you could burn the seedling. >> James Grimbanks - Tue, 22 Dec 2020 03:18:33 EST WmMVwVjQ No.147490 Reply 1608625113589.jpg -(1925443B / 1.84MB, 2384x2564) Thumbnail displayed, click image for full size. >>147409For your next grow I would recommend using Low Stress Training to even the canopy. Tube lighting has very poor penetration qualities so you want the lights as close to the plant as possible (if the leaves start cupping you're too close). Beacause you have had the lights a tad far off you have such large internodes. As you can see in this picture it is possible to get very tight internodes if you do this right.
