Just found out Convolvulus arvensis (field bindweed) contains tropane alkaloids. I'm NOT referenceing LSA or related alkaloids that are associated with other morning glories such as heavenly blue and I. Tricolor. Bindweed contains several alkaloids, including pseudotropine, and lesser amounts of tropine, tropinone, and meso-cuscohygrine.

I'm gonna paste an experience posted on the drug gardening subcirclejerk below.

"I've had a few glowing experiences on tropane alkaloids. Mainly from bindweed. Maybe the alkaloid diversity/bias is different in different tropane plants.

One day me and 3 others took a lot. We remember very little. Everything gets super dark and contrasty, almost campfire looking. And our vision would get blurry and glowy. Eventually our vision would get really zoomed in and kinda stayed that way for the most intense portions of the trip.

Physically it was relatable to when I took too much dxm gels. The dry mouth was unlike traditional cottonmouth. The only way you'd be comfortable with it is knowing that it's a very typical side effect. Swallowing was difficult and it was best to engage is distractions and sipping a water bottle the entirety of the trip. While remembering to piss, which is suddenly incredibly hard to accomplish for reasons I'll never understand. Also, the level of disorientation and moments of balance, coordination, and motor function issues steadily grew until the peak of the trip, which had a really long plateau that lasted all night. After waking up we all felt groggy, and still slightly disoriented and with some minor vision disturbances.

Aside from all that it was great. We mixed it with a little morning Glory and had a really great time with moments of plain 'dead-brainness' to moments of insanity and joyous laughter and falling and laughing so hard we'd fall some more. After smoking some weed the effects only intensified and shortly after started having shared experiences and visuals and even purported moments of what could only be telepathic mechanics. Much deep conversation ended the night, the likes of which I'll never remember. We all barely remember a thing.

This is just what I remember of one night."

I just thought it was super interesting and I'm thinking of experimenting but I'm not 100% sure yet. Anyone else heard of this? I thought this would be a good place to start up a discussion. This is a plant in the same order as datura and brugmansia. Again this has absolutely nothing to do with LSA and the seeds aren't consumed like with other morning glories.

Arvensis, a Latin adjective meaning in the fields. And it is in the family Convolvulaceae coming from Classical Latin convolvere, to roll together from com-, together + volvere, to roll, it's a reference to the winding, climbing vines.

That's interesting anon. Have you ever done datura, and if so, how did the experience compare?

I've personally never done bind weed or datura, I just study them but am looking forward to one day experimenting. Carefully of course.

When I inevitably take Datura, how can I consume it in a way that's least likely to kill me, considering the huge variations in potency? Eat seeds? Chop up seeds, flower etc very finely to evenly distribute the poison and then try to dose it, small amounts at a time over multiple days? I heard making tea is a no no

What kind of soil did you use?
If I remember correctly they like sandy soil that lets the water drain through easily. Might have been the earth was simply too moist? Did you ever lift the inner pot out of the larger one to see if it was standing in undrunk water?

>If I remember correctly they like sandy soil that lets the water drain through easily.
If this is the case, you can use premade cactus soil. Available in all garden centers and the like. Probably some flowershops as well.

I planted a few seeds of Brugmansia Arborea and Datura Stramonium a few weeks ago. Followed online instructions, but none have sprouted yet. A friend of mine planted a few D. Stramonium. and he now has 5 flowering plants.

>Beatles

it's a cover, but i can't tell you how many times i've listened to this song on DXM+DPH/Dox

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gp6Wc9IQ1w0

Also

>The fact that so many books still name the Beatles as "the greatest or most significant or most influential" rock band ever only tells you how far rock music still is from becoming a serious art. Jazz critics have long recognized that the greatest jazz musicians of all times are Duke Ellington and John Coltrane, who were not the most famous or richest or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Classical critics rank the highly controversial Beethoven over classical musicians who were highly popular in courts around Europe. Rock critics are still blinded by commercial success. The Beatles sold more than anyone else (not true, by the way), therefore they must have been the greatest. Jazz critics grow up listening to a lot of jazz music of the past, classical critics grow up listening to a lot of classical music of the past. Rock critics are often totally ignorant of the rock music of the past, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that the Beatles did anything worthy of being saved.

Meclizine & Mirtazapine

File: 1555731172995.png -(321720B / 314.18KB, 366x363) Thumbnail displayed, click image for full size. Meclizine & Mirtazapine
>Method and reasoning
Taking Mirtazapine (an antihistamine antidepressant, Remeron) and Meclizine (nondrowsy Dramamine, Bonine) should interact with each other, as they both have dopamine affinities (Meclizine is an antagonist, while Mirtazapine is an agonist). This results in mixed agonist/antagonist dopamine activity. This effect creates delirium at a much lower dose than usually needed.
>Dosage
Meclizine: 25mg (taken under tongue aka. sublingually)
Mirtazapine: 30mg (swallowed as pill)
>Subjective effects
A heavy, but controllable, delirium is the result. Phantom arms, phones, cigarettes, and other common features happen regularly while some unpleasant ones (unspeakable horrors) may definitely occur too.
Due to the incredible potency of the combination, a first time try for any person should entail using only 12.5mg Meclizine, as it is the lever for how deep the delirium will be. Dreams will most likely (50% in my experience) be vivid and abstract.

Word of caution, don't overdo it. I found this out accidentally when I took 50mg Meclizine for nausea along with my nighttime dose of Mirtazapine and I was diving very deep into delirium for a while. The dreams are wonderful, but the hangover is not suitable for anyone who has to get up early.

anyone else have experience with this awesome combination?

i've only tried a few times and it's so interesting how they interact. i had the idea because the worst effects of amanitas come from an nmda agonist and a muscarine agonist, and while i know pharmacology can be a lot more complicated than just looking at it like that it seems almost too perfect. the side effects include things like muscle spasms and sweating/salivating but through literally the opposite mechanisms that cause relaxation on dxm and dryness on dph. the end result seems to be all of the coolest psychological effects of all three drugs but less dryness from the dph and less neuropathic side effects from the amanitas.

but i'm asking cause i've only tried this in really small doses so far, with my highest combo dose being 300mg dph 300mg dxm and 3g amanita (random pointless fact about me, i have severe ocd and whenever i take drug combos i have to have numerical relation between doses to feel comfortable), which messed my memory up something fierce at the peak but strongly reduced all of the things i dislike about any of those drugs on their own. muscarine and muscimol seem to lower heart rate/blood pressure, or at least dissociate me from the sensation like classic dissociatives can so that it doesn't bother me, muscarine reverses the dryness, and as far as my experiments have concluded adding dxm reduces neuropathic side effects. like without dxm added I literally couldn't hold anything in my hands for more than a minute without suddenly and involuntarily throwing whatever i was holding, while also making me relaxed and uncaring enough that i just kept trying to do things over and over thinking maybe ill be able to do it right this time and (insert shocked pikachu face) getting the same exact result, but i would just keep trying over and over for some reason lol. but that was from about 10 - 15g of amanitas which is more than i've ever taken with dph and/or dxm, so i'm curious if anyone else has tried higher doses and if they've had similar results.

Hey kids.

I'm looking for this very specific trip report, you folks might know the one.

It involved these like 4 kids in the backwoods of Louisiana and they mixed nightshade and datura, i believe. It's ssssssuuuuuuuuupppppeeeeerrrrrrrr long. I remember there was an image or PDF of the full report that had a datura flower on it. It was notorious on this board a few years back.

Thanks in advance.

Diphenhydramine increases heart rate and caused me to thirst overnights and the following mornings.

After eating some blood pressure lowering drugs together with dph as a sleep aid, my dehydration got better!

Interesting. I can sort of do that with a softie if I'm on stims. But usually I prefer to edge for 2+ hours, then follow it up with as many quick faps in bed as I can handle before I fall asleep or my dick starts feeling raw.

I mean, yes. I kind of figured that was why but I don't get how that could affect something so purely physical before any sort of medical intervention. So I'm leaning really strongly towards the idea that the sexual enhancement is entirely psychological/neurochemically based rather than the DPH directly affecting the prostate/erogenous zone like some people theorize.

I was going to write a description of my trip and whatever but I am still tripping and I couldn't manage anything that wasn't long winded and boring so I am just going to try to say the bare minimum. I took .875 mg of hyoscyamine about 28 hours ago & for at least the last 5 hours I've had a body tempurature around 95.5° when I'm normally 98°. My heart rate was 60 BPM after I walked for an hour which is very low for me & apparently I'm pale. I know hyperthermia is common but I haven't heard of someone getting the opposite so I'm kind of worried, has anyone else had a similar issue and am I gonna die and go to hell?

DONNATAB/Hyoscyamine DOSING?

I've used Kwells a few times to get Scopolamine highs without having to use datura plants. They are in packs of 12 300 microgram tablets. I find 24 tablets (7200 micrograms) feels similar to like, 600 mg of DPH?

So I came across these fuckers the other day, donnatab. I've heard Hyoscyamine is stimulating (forgot source) as opposed to Scoplamine which is heavily sedating (even moreso than DPH to me) and almost prevents you from seeing as many hallucinations from knocking you out so hard. You either blackout or fall asleep and see nowhere near as much as you do on heavy DPH trips because of this.

So I feel Hyoscyamine might provide a better trip for hallucinating, but I'm scared to dose as this is even less tried and tested than Kwells and I more or less had to figure out how to dose Kwells on my own. We all know 700 mg of DPH does the trick but with these datura-based drugs that are actually dosed accurately in the form of tablets, there is little to no information to find due to inexperience.

Pls help a /del/ brother out

It´s kinda hard to make out cause of the weird photo angle, but were the flowers pointing down when you clipped them?
  • Upright flowers = Datura
  • Hanging flowers = Brugmansia
Or I guess it could be something else too, don´t take my word. But if it´s brugmansia then at least you know. Also we have a whole datura thread if you had looked, it´s just a page back. But,
>TL;DR
Probably don´t mess with it, risk of death is high.
Only use if you don´t care if you die a horrible drawn out death or am ready to be real fucking meticulate with figuring out how to go about it, and it´s all your own fault if you mess up.
