How is the dph experience without dxm?

I've done dph twice but both times dxm was involved. I'm probably going to take 600 mg of dph by itself in the next week or so and I'm just curious if this will affect the hallucinations?

dph without dxm is a lot different. from my experiences, the dxm effects typically overtake the dph effects while the dph potentiates the dxm. This is how I would describe a 600/600 of dph and dxm. I have experienced detailed CEVs given by the dxh which the dph increases the dissociative effect of.

With just dph, there is no dissociation or CEVs. You will likely experience realistic delusional hallucinations similar to how dementia is described. Your experience should be far different than with the dxm added. Be careful and read trip reports on just dph so you know what you're getting into.

I don't want dissociation because I'm doing it in a public woods and a small amount of dxm by itself makes me walk like a retarded drunk. I don't want to be smashing head first into tree's and tripping over rock's every few minutes plus last time I did it with dxm I blacked out for about 45 minutes. The only thing I'm concerned with is the body load as I hear it's pretty fucked.

>there's no CEVs

id disagree with this, although they're not DXM-like CEVs. they're more like the CEVs you get when you're right on the cusp of falling asleep (hypnagogic hallucinations). weird textures/phosphenes and random objects or faces will appear for just a few seconds at a time and constantly morph around. definitely not like dxm where it can be semi-complex geometry and structures or landscapes, and definitely not interractive like dxm sometimes is.

dph by itself might make you walk like a retarded drunk, it also fucks with your motor coordination. you will feel about 6000x heavier than you normally would, which is a direct opposite to the floaty cloud-like feel of DXM, which will also cause you to walk weird. the body load i would consider to feel like electricity shocking your body, sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad way. you'll have mad double vision probably and wont be able to see 4ft in front of you. you also might black out still depending on your reaction to the dph, as most people start blacking out around 600-700+ range (without much tolerance at least).

in my experience dph hallucinations arent very scary, but they can be. the trees might start to have eyes and you'll feel like everything's staring at you, as an example. delerium is also no joke, and it's hard to describe to someone who hasn't fully experienced it. it's sort of like being in a dream but you're awake, but more intense i guess.

i wouldn't recommend doing 600mg in public, especially considering it'll presumably be your first time dealing with DPH by itself. I can't stop you of course but i'd recommend probably like 300mg to start out with because that will get you into the headspace, lead a few hallucinations (you'll prob be disappointed), and get you adjusted to the body load which gets progressively worse/more intense the higher you go. the last thing you want is to be delerious in public and wander into somewhere you dont think you'll be, like a road, and get hit by a car. Or have someone find you and not know what's wrong with you. if you can, get a trip sitter.

If you don't like the motor effects of DXM you will in no way appreciate the motor effects of DPH on its own. Far more unpleasant. At least with DXM there is a robotic "form" to it. DPH has no discernable form on recreational forays.

It's the same feeling I got watching porn for the first time. I was glued to my seat. All with that jarring feeling that this is backward.

Enjoy recreational sleep doses of 150 or less. Listen to some music and audio books...low energy cost and you might just enjoy it.

oh and definite thumbs down to DPH in public. If you are alone in the woods (not a public park) that's your call. If anyone sees you they will probably call the cops since you will be behaving erratically and therefore dangerously to them. Usually anyway.
