i know some of you guys have album/songs that you exclusively listen to while being fucked on deliriants
this song particularly is my personal "benadryl song"

this album always blows my mind when i'm on any sort of trippy drug, but they also fit the del atmosphere pretty well, wild, off the hing kind of stuff, almost like "bad" trip music, like when the trips gotten to the point of total insanity

those are just the songs, the songs are broken up with these WILD free-form freak out sessions, the songs fade in and out of the chaos

Like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=db89YZaOWAQ

honestly if you listen to anything that last one is the best in terms of completely fitting the atmosphere of what a del/dis trip is like, all those random gibberish thoughts and general edgeyness put into a song

There is some dark synthwave that fits the atmosphere. To name a few, pretty much anything by Gost, Gesaffelstein, Lazerpunk, and Daniel Deluxe. On electronic i also recommend Diabarha. HARSH electronic speedcore, terrorcore and splittercore.
Merzbow, Nurse with Wound, The Body, and Navicon Torture Technologies match the aesthetic pretty well but they don't sound great (imo) while you're on.
One album i highly recommend not just as an aesthetic album but as music to play for a trip is "Obsidian", and the single "Ocean Death" by Baths.
Filth Pig by Ministry has a very decayed, rancid sound that matches the feeling of charred meat and molten sugar i got during trips a long time ago.
Lastly, and highest of all: https://youtu.be/wbtUAlFN8po

Coil - Broccoli, Things Happen, and Something in ascending order based on dosage

A lot o Finnish ambient bands do a good job at capturing the feeling of the trip
Herbst9 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92w_m20faTA
Aeoga - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-21YphwQw8
Halo Manash - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_b-ortfQ30o

NOIR NOIR probably has the most potential to turn a DPH experience into what a lot of people bitch about Sunn O))) doing to them when they're doing mushrooms or acid, at least if you have trouble with the spiders

Shitloads of Current 93 songs almost made my list but most of them are too dependent on their lyrics which are hard enough to follow when you're sober - at least if you're as dull as I am - much less when you'd struggle at following a thought outside of your subconscious that was said less than 2 seconds prior. I Have a Special Plan for this World and pretty much everything on Dog's Blood Rising, and Nature Unveiled warrant a listen
IHSPFTW - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GNGfAoe3ZI
Raio No Terrasu (Jesus Wept) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lDG6S3lKBw
Maldoror Falling (Nature Unveiled) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkhILxgusVw

maudlin of the Well's softer songs do a really a good job at capturing the few positive experiences one might get from DPH once in a blue moon
Undine and Underwater Flowers - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhtlsgo4rzA
Girl With a Watering Can - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pa6VhaD0P8
Catharsis of Sea-Sleep... - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cn75MnaI4kw

Morphine's 'The Night' could be interpreted as having to do with the weird draw/addiction a lot of people here have towards deliriant, but doesn't really have a feeling I'd associate with the trips involving them, despite the album cover
motW's 'Sleep is a Curse' could be felt similarly if you're dumb enough to try to find artistic inspiration through deliriants

I'm new to /del/ and the dph community, but does anyone else highly relate their trips to Modest Mouse's music? Besides the obvious "Dramamine", listening to it on a 800mg+ trip leaves me feeling more happy and content than in fear. Then listening to it a day later often helps me recall the blurry parts of the night before

Haven't done dph before, but on DXM I listened to Natasha by Pig Destroyer. It's disturbing stuff, thirty some minutes, but has some great slow and low riffs and creepy ambiance if that's your thing.
