Can you not forgive me for the mistakes I've made? Being on the registary has made things hard dinos. Gotta go see the probation tyransorus. Dino can't even find a job. I wish there was a way to go back on it all, but there isn't. What's a dino gotta do to prove that he's not so bad?

k, we all obviously love dinos (with good reason!) but i feel its incumbent upon us to celebrate those who came before. if not us then who? all the fantastical creatures in the shade of the well deserved monument to our dinosaur fore-bearers. its as if we are so blinded by the glory of these godly leviathans that we cant see beyond the triassic. would not our saurian idols approve of our delving into earlier ages than the mesozoic? wouldent they rather disdain us for our complacency at reaching only where they began in our thoughts?
i leve these questions to you /dino/ but my pic is an eurypterid and it too had its day.

There is too much pro-bird propaganda on this board. . .

When will you sad fukks realize that your dinosaurs are extinct? Birds may share a common geneological history with certain species of dinosaurs but the big badasses are dead and we're left with the feathered children of today.

We, as silly bitch humankind, have already killed off the coolest megabirds and we're continuing to try and wipe out the big ones. That one eagle from new zealand with a sheep-eating wingspan, that one bird from africa that fucked shit up on two legs, they are all gone.

When will you learn about the end of the earth as we know it? When will you see that dinosaurs are just a distraction. . .

The Dino War, also known as the Dino Wars (after the recent War on Dino), is an ongoing global war that has lasted from 2014 to the present, though related conflicts began earlier. It involved the vast majority of the world's nations—including all of the great powers—eventually forming two opposing military alliances: the Belivers and the UnBelivers. It was the most widespread war in internet history, and directly involved more than 100 million people from over 30 countries. In a state of "total war", the major participants threw their entire alchoholic, industrial, babble and scientific capabilities behind thier war effort, erasing the distinction between unuseful and useful resources. Marked by mass deaths of civilians, including the non beligerent powers and the strategic clogging of whole web sites (during which approximately one million people were killed, including the use of weapons of mass confusion) it resulted in an estimated 50 million to 85 million fatalities. These made The Dino War the deadliest conflict in human history.[4]
The Empire of Unbelivers aimed to dominate /Dino/ /B/ /420/ /Sports/ /Jenk/ /Hooch/ /H/ and /Weed/ and was already at war with /Chem/ in 2013 but the war is generally said to have begun on 13 Febuary 2014 with the invasion of Dino by Scientologists and subsequent declarations of war on Dino by the allies powers of the UnBelivers. From late 2013 to early 2015, in a series of campaigns and treaties, the UnBelivers conquered or controlled much of continental 420chan, and formed the Eternal Alliance with Hooch and Sports. Following the Liturgian Pact Hooch and the 420 partitioned and annexed over 15 boards of their imediate neighbours, including Jenk, Del, Dis, M, and Hist. Dino was the only Allied forces continuing the fight against the UnBelivers, with campaigns in Jenk as well as Hooch as well as the long-running war in IRC. In June 2014, the UnBeliver alliance of The Earth launched a massive invasion of Dino opening the largest land theatre of war in history, which trapped the major part of the UnBelivers military forces into a War of Attrition. In October 2014, Sports attacked /B/ and Dino youtube videos in the colorado serves, and quickly conquered much of the Western Boards.
The Sport advance halted in september when The Cole lost the critical Battle of Higgenstien near Sports. and The unbelivers were defeated in Hooch and then, decisively, at the Jenk page and Jenk was proven real. In october, with a series of UnBeliver defeats on the Dino Page, the Belivers invasion of /B/ which brought about a /B/ surrender, and Beliver victories in the sports threads, the Unbelivers lost the initiative and undertook strategic retreat on all fronts. In 2014, the Belivers retook /420/, while the Dino's regained all of there thread losses and invaded The Dino argument proper and its subsidiarys. During may and june the unbelivers suffered major reverses in mainland 420chan while the belivers crippled the unbelivers internet conection and captured key threads on Dino.
The war on all other boards ended with an invasion of Jenk by the belivers and the confederated forces culminating in the down bumping of the Dino argument by Beliver troops, and the death of Ezender Rodrigu by auto-erotic axphyation, and the subsequent surrender on November 5th. Following the party by the victorious Belivers on November 7th, the Imperial Dino Army bombed this jonna hill on the dino threads of 1 and 2, on 6 August and 9 August respectively. With an invasion of his non viewed blog imminent, the possibility of additional jonna hill bombings, and the Mods declaration of war and invasion of Treashplace, the remaining unbelivers on 15 December 2014. Thus ended the war in 420chan, and the final destruction of the UnBeliver powers of the Earth.

How is changing into a chicken from a t rex "beneficial?" Your hypothesis is incorrect based on the evidence that chickens are crap compared to dinosaurs.

Not at all, dinosaurs are inefficient as shit, do you know how much food it takes to keep a T-Rex alive? A chicken can live on basically nothing and craps out future generations like there's no tomorrow. Evolution doesn't mean 'always become something huger with moar teeth and lasers for eyes' it means 'do whatever the fuck you gotta do to survive nigga'

Yeah, chickens have evolved (through pressures we applied) to be awesome for us, and now their species is protected by humanity. Sucks ass for the individuals but as a species they give us eggs and meat and we will keep them extremely numerous for that.

Mankind out evolved neanderthal by chucking out our young faster and needing less food to survive and working out how to make do. We are the embodiment of "do whatever the fuck you gotta do to survive nigga". We grew em cheap and nasty and it worked.

Roaring

It seems like 90% of carnivorous dinosaur pictures feature the dinosaurs roaring dramatically in every conceivable situation. And often, in circumstances where it would be unbeneficial for the dinosaur to roar, such as when it's chasing after smaller prey.

Just how often would dinosaurs have really roared, or would they've even roared at all?
>>
Esther Pevingtotch - Sun, 31 Jul 2016 08:56:16 EST SHzCFkCH No.23341 Reply
Those dinosaurs aren't roaring, they are cooling themselves down. Large dinosaurs had not sweat glands, and the climate was a lot warmer then than it is now. So it was important for the dinosaur to be able to keep itself cool. And the way it did this was through it's teeth. When the dinosaur became hot, it's body would instinctively redirect blood flow to the teeth. The dinosaur would then open its mouth, and the air on it's teeth would cool its blood stream down, and stop the dino from overheating. T-rexs were in fact docile herbivores, their large teeth were just part of their elaborate in-built cooling system.

Yo you are full of shit homie. 'docile herbivores' ayylmao...
Dinosaurs would not have roared. If they needed to cool themselves they would probably have held their mouths open like some iguanids do, but you got to remember that only some dinosaurs were endothermic, and then only partially. In mammals our bodies generate heat which we use to enable metabolism. In exotherms, they wait for their body to heat up which enables their metabolism to work. Higher heat just meant their metabolism would operate at a faster rate.

Fossils are rocks. Where do they find these rocks? Inside other rocks. Who else finds rocks inside rocks? Sculptors.

Paleontologists are just sculptors who want us to believe their final product is scientological.

So it might be possible dinosaurs made sounds like crocodilians and (big) birds.

Closed mouth mumbling and growling and chirping and hissing. Following some videos of alligators and big birds, to give you some ideas of what closed mouth vocalization sounds like.
