I live where I can get a Ketamine infusion for depression at a clinic for $200. Are street prices more or less than that and I have never done powder so what is the dosage and cost of a "bump" or "rail"? As a liquid what is dosage and gauge of needle you need to do it intramuscularly?

Do you know what dose they give you for the infusion? That's pretty cheap for medically supervised ketamine.

Street prices vary dramatically from place to place. I have to pay $70-120/g where I am, but some people pay as little as $30/g.

Vials are generally more expensive, and they're typically dosed at 50mg/ml or 100mg/ml.

Bumps are also variable, I'd estimate anywhere from 30mg-100mg depending on the sniffing instrument. I've accidentally taken huge bumps with deep spoons. Not fun when you're trying to stand in a crowd. Rails could be anywhere from probably 50mg-300mg or more depending on the user's tolerance. They aren't really specific terms.

IM needles are usually 22-25g from what I've seen. Thinner needles are easier on the muscle. 1 inch is long enough. Maybe 1.5 inches if you have a lot of body fat. If you're IMing street crystal you'll want some sterile .22micron wheel filters to clean it up.

I think it is a ratio based on my body weight to ml they say it could last 4-8 hours and there will be hallucinations. I weigh 175lbs what is a K-hole lvl dose? I doubt the clinic would give me that much unless multiple smaller doses don't help me. I have diagnosed treatment resistant depression and have been thinking about K for a long time they even recommended it for me when I got my medical cannabis referral. I want to experience a K-hole tbh.

If they're putting you under for 4-8 hours and warn of hallucinations then they could be holing you. That's a good length of time. I know some infusions will have people dipping in and out of holes, they even do 24-72 hour infusions for chronic pain now. Some docs are more chill than others and will let you go deeper if you ask, but I think that's more likely on your second or third session once you get used to it.

A single IM hole dose usually lasts an hour. 100mg IM can hole someone without tolerance. IV infusions are a little different since they don't shoot it all at once, but let it slowly build up.

I'm jealous, all the clinics around me charge more than $1000 for 90 minute sessions.

I thank you for the information. BTW I live in Oklahoma of all places, we have a no restrictions on conditions for medical cannabis law but a 15.3% tax. "Wellness" is a new industry here I hope they don catch on that they can charge that much for K.

If you've never used ketamine before, a $200 infusion is not a bad option. Pick out what music you want to listen to beforehand. You'll enjoy yourself even if you don't hole, probably.

Powder is usually pretty cheap, $30-50 a gram. I thought about getting an infusion for the medicinal benefit since I found out there's a Polish clinic right near me that does it, but it's $750CAD and you could potentially do the same thing on your own

Not that cheap if you consider how weak it is.

Esketamine was just approved for depression, it's all over the news now.
I've been using dextromethorphan for years, any idea if this would be much better than just dosing on cough syrups?

>Arketamine appears to be more effective as a rapid-acting antidepressant than esketamine.[8]

>In rodent studies, esketamine produced hyperlocomotion, prepulse inhibition deficits, and rewarding effects, while arketamine did not, in accordance with its lower potency as an NMDA receptor antagonist and dopamine reuptake inhibitor.[9] As such, arketamine may have a lower propensity for producing psychotomimetic effects and a lower abuse potential in addition to superior antidepressant efficacy.[9]

>A study conducted in mice found that ketamine's antidepressant activity is not caused by ketamine inhibiting NMDAR, but rather by sustained activation of a different glutamate receptor, the AMPA receptor, by a metabolite, (2R,6R)-hydroxynorketamine; as of 2017 it was unknown if this was happening in humans.[10][11] Arketamine is a AMPA receptor agonist.[12]

not that exciting, esketamine is the wrong enantiomer of ketamine to use imo but I guess its a step in the right direction.
