Evidence of the /dis/troverse? Ignore Report Reply

So yesterday, I was doing my usual thing in my podunk East coast town, admiring the grey weather which in my /dis/ madness i found hauntingly beautiful. Meditating on benches, hobo stuff, all for the sake of entertaining myself in what is essentially england in america.

I notice something glittering in the rocks. My /dis/ sense goes WHOA and i find this quartz? i find a lot of it. im magnetized by it for no particular reason except for its green and goldish hue. I hum to myself "MAN people are stupid! it's like free money littered about and all you have to do is be on some delsym to see it!"

I take it home, and when I'm about to go to bed, I remember about the rocks. I look and WHAT THE they are shimmering MADNESS this quartz looked like pyrite, it was so glittering glittering millions of tiny refracted star like stars, EXACTLY like pyrite or fool's gold in fact.

I think it's neat and go to sleep with knowledge of my new treasure safe and sound. I wake up this morning, look at the rocks, and....it looks normal. HUH??? Now i'm PROFOUNDLY interested. I had joked about there being DXMeralds but this once pretend stone had perhaps actually manifested itself into my life.

I would safely guess, the Dextroverse, or /dis/universe can be accessed with these rocks. I know for a fact if I go get /dis/sed and look at them, they'll be glittery glittery glittery again, but im taking a day off today.

I guess why pyrite is called "fool's gold" is because only a mad fool would think that it's gold. Since DXM does make you a mad fool on purpose, I would suffice to say getting /dis/sed is actually bloody brilliant. It's like accessing a whole other you that easily could have existed, but much stupider and lower in IQ. It is really in fact a whole different universe where instead of posessing intellect and talents and care, you care about SHINY ROCKS YAY.

this means real gold is that which is valuable to all, regardless of IQ,
Silver that which repels lower IQ
copper emblematic of the machine or AI
pyrite emblematic of the drunken bastard who's had one too many and THINKS he is gold.
and lastly this green gold pyrite like quartz, which is /dis/, a genius who is so bored of being smart, he actually enjoys making himself stupid and exploring the possibilities of another birth where he could've easily been born an idiot, and gains newfound appreciation and love of those in society less gifted than he.

Glass Onion by the Beatles

I told you about strawberry fields
You know the place where nothing is real
Well here's another place you can go
Where everything flows.
Looking through the bent-backed tulips
To see how the other half live
Looking through a glass onion.
I told you about the walrus and me, man
You know we're as close as can be, man
Well here's another clue for you all
The walrus was Paul.
Standing on the cast iron shore, yeah
Lady Madonna trying to make ends meet, yeah
Looking through the glass onion
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
Looking through the glass onion.
I told you about the fool on the hill
I tell you man he's living there still
Well here's another place you can be
Listen to me.
Fixing a hole in the ocean
Trying to make a dove-tail joint, yeah
Looking through a glass onion.

Interesting, I've been able to figure out most of the Beatles' drug songs, but that one always perplexed me. DXM was certainly a thing in the '60s but it's still hard to say one way or another what glass onion was about.

I know for sure they have plenty of songs about [amphetamine / cathinone], cocaine, weed, [lsd / shrooms], and heroin though.
I personally think 'strawberry fields forever' is about opium / heroin; and 'I'm only sleeping' for sure is, along with several White Album songs.

I like the description enough to imagine the Glass Onion is indeed about DXM. Looking at those lyrics it feels accurate enough. Makes a good story for sure.

one more
stranger by billy joel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnlvPoDU5LY

Well we all have a face
That we hide away forever
And we take them out and
Show ourselves
When everyone has gone
Some are satin some are steel
Some are silk and some are leather
They're the faces of the stranger
But we love to try them on
Well we all fall in love
But we disregard the danger
Though we share so many secrets
There are some we never tell
Why were you so surprised
That you never saw the stranger
Did you ever let your lover see
The stranger in yourself?
Don't be afraid to try again
Everyone goes south
Every now and then
You've done it, why can't
Someone else?
You should know by now
You've been there yourself
Once I used to believe
I was such a great romancer
Then I came home to a woman
That I could not recognize
When I pressed her for a reason
She refused to even answer
It was then I felt the stranger
Kick me right between the eyes
Well we all fall in love
But we disregard the danger
Though we share so many secrets
There are some we never tell
Why were you so surprised
That you never saw the stranger
Did you ever let your lover see
The stranger in yourself?
Don't be afraid to try again
Everyone goes south
Every now and then
You've done it why can't
Someone else?
You should know by now
You've been there yourself
You may never understand
How the stranger is inspired
But he isn't always evil
And he isn't always wrong
Though you drown in good intentions
You will never quench the fire
You'll give in to your desire
When the stranger comes along.

Seems to me OP is in the grips of that lovely delusional /dis/ mindset. I love to write down my thoughts while dissed and try to make sense of it later.

Somewhat related to thread - anyone else get significantly increased visual color saturation on 3-MeO-PCP? It makes everything look sharp, very colorful, almost cartoonlike. And do dissos remind anyone else of the color purple?

I definitely got that effect when I used to do 3-meo. (I would still do it, just don't know how to find it anymore) Also, small details would be glossed over and a slight fish eye effect. These things combined made everything look "fake" like a touched-up t.v. show to me. It was fun.

hah that reminds me of a cool story bro (the rest of this post is recounting a dumb event, nb.) When i diss, I notice shiny things more often and become distracted by them easily. Funny coincidence how I didn't really notice this until yesterday and this is the first time i read your post. I got excited over a shiny object and the person I was with sarcastically pointed it out to me and said something like, 'ok enough of that, lets put that over here.' Then he picks it up off the ground and puts it in the trash. It was some random piece of litter at the park, like gum foil I think lol. I love the last sentence of your post, op.
