>/dis/ music
> no drain gang

phew.. i mean it's like THE /dis/ music. Heavily psychadelic and organic but also very sterile and electric kind of atmosphere.
And that's just how it sounds the texts are even better.

bladee + ecco2k - stalker, cinderella, plastic surgery,
bladee - wrist cry, decay, be nice 2 me, lovenote, unreal, nike, just do it
thaiboy digital - haters broke, 2 seats, wrong, no. 1
ecco2k - gt-r, happily ever after, guardian_angels (((natu)))

The Cut by First Time Neurosurgeon

I think this is another that was made mostly while dissociated. The nostalgia for me comes from the early version of this album that was in a different order. I didn't feel like updating my playlists and such, so I'm used to hearing a different order of tacks but it's all good. I remember spacing out like each song is atmosphericly different and journeying through mind space. I hope charlie bonehead is still creating stuff and doing well.

This song has always been really special to me on dxm. I liked it alright but wasnt crazy about it before but on my first couple trips on dxm I would just listen to this song over and over. The way the synth sounds matches well with the woozy feeling.

What do you like to listen to now? During the days when I was starting doing dis, I remember getting lost to a lot of massive attack and sneaker pimps. Then some time during high school I would get into trance types like sphongle and infected mushroom. I mostly listen to hip hop now. I enjoy noisy sounds and unrecognizable samples. photo is Face tat.

Tame Impala - Nangs

I like listening to playlists of songs that I had not heard before. I found a playlist on spotify called DXM and it is currently playing Until the colours come by Flying lotus.

Bump for more dis music

probably one of the most out there albums ever, always a favorite of mine to listen to tripping on anything, drifts in an out from songs like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9ttRvp3_VU to total cacophony like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1OwpUzdVJY makes you feel like you're just on the edge of going completely insane, it makes you feel like the universe is falling apart around you

Oh god I have so many playlists I've put together over the years, and so many albums to recommend.

Chill Man's Mix Vol. 3

Chill Man's Mix Vol. 4

Chill Man's Mix Vol. 5
Summer by Vanilla is probably the best song on there partially because the chopped up Dr. Seuss music video. Perfect for dis, seriously.

Maple Sizzurp
There's a few songs missing from this one, two of which I'm really mad about. I Feel Like Dying by Lil Wayne and Strawberry Fields by The Beatles were perfect for dis, but such is the way of the cosmos.

A nice mix of psychedelic rock, both old and new. Strawberry Alarmclock. Do I need to say more?

The Chill Man's Mixes are all mostly obscure hip hop beats and such but they're all solid gold on dxm.

Radio Gnome Invisible by Gong is great. Weird French-Canadian psych jam rock. The best kind of weird.

Big Luxury by Potatoehead People is amazing dissed or not really.

Golden Skies by Mono/Poly is also great dissed or sober. Pic goddamn related. Whole album screams dis.

Anything by MNDSGN. Specifically the album Breathairian. Trust me on this.

Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti is an experience. First time I listened to an OP on dis. A bit of a hassle when you've got double vision and your arms operate like a claw machine game, but well worth it. Along the Seaside is my jam.

Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. I became a planet while listening to this and watching the PS3's earth from space music visualizer. I literally cannot put to words that feeling.

Most of The Beatles' later albums are great for dis. The White Album, Revolver, and Magical Mystery Tour, specifically.

If you're on a first plat and you're feeling stimmy, anything by Michael Jackson is great to dance the uppy feelings and racing heartbeat away. Plus Thriller sound great on dis. Like an alien god singing angelic choruses in your brain box.

Skiptracing by Mild High Club. Modern psychedelic rock. Really funky. Really really trippy.

His Satanic Majesty's Request by Rolling Stones. I drove out to get weed on a high 2nd plat listening to this album once or twice. It was indescribable. And dangerous. Don't sip and drive, kiddos.

I believe that's it. Enjoy, and stay safe out there.

i listened to this on a bunch of MXE as a teen sitting outside, with headphones going inside into a stereo, it was in FLAC. i was smoking an unfiltered lucky strike, it was raining but i was under a canopy.

So. Good.

I remember posting this in a similar thread 5 years ago when it was reuploaded...
funny, was & am into that & stuff like lil ugly mane & nick f, to slam & black metal. Not forgetting my deep forged love for jazz after discovering Glenn Miller when I was younger & all my years raving to hardcore & dnb (which im not as keen on now, dnb i mean). Always loved actual dubstep (im from uk where it was good) #
