On what plateau?

On DXM alone I often start thinking about the survival of the fittest type stuff e.g. animals fighting each other, and lots of Slomatics really jives well with it. I found this video the other day that gives a feel of it:

I can recommend other Slomatics, some of it takes a while to get into whereas other albums you get the feel of it instantly.

Everything is good on drugs, you don't need to fit the mould, live the archetype and try and watch trippy or digital things.. use the drug perspective to cover NEW ground.. start seeing behind the curtain and not being the equivalent of the people who think smoking pot is supposed to be about being comfy and silly and having the munchies and thinking stupid shit is amazing.

>how do I find a weed connect?
>is my weed moldy?
>is this shit laced? I got freaked out when I smoked it.. it wasn't like cheech and chong act when they're stoned

pls stop. drugs are for sages, not for silly kids to have fun with

Drugs are for anyone who wants to have a good, or interesting, or revelatory time with their brain and body. If you insist on sacredness and significance in drug experiences, there's both to be found in the mundane, of watching a computer screensaver or a documentary on penguins, for the fifth time, eating your favorite snack.

My favourite thing to do on dissos is create. Anything and everything, but preferably art. Today I am making a nonsense post on /dis/.

DXM feels like life but on cheat codes. Maybe not cheat codes, but definitely something completely over powered. Everything makes sense. I understand everything. I am disconnected from my faults and biases but recognise their impact on me the rest of the time. I know I'm gonna sober up and everything is gonna go back to how it was before, so I just try my best to make something from the trip in the hopes that what I make will be imbued with that feeling of lifting the curtain. Most of the time when I come back to reality I'm just embarrassed and shy away though.

I've been fucking with dissociatives and deliriants a lot lately. I am bordering on taking them too far and causing more harm than good. But for now I am resolving a lot of internal issues, and I have been able to address a lot of things that are making the people around me unhappy and have been resolving to make changes in my behaviour to improve their lives. The people around me have been receptive too. They have told me what is happening in their world, how they feel about it and how I can change that. And I've felt compelled to change my behaviour to facilitate this. I just hope it sticks because feeling their suffering is brutal. Feeling that my lack of understanding their perspective is what is causing their experience to suffer is even worse.

This shit ain't free though. The other day I had a serious derealisation episode. I saw everything in my vision as a series of abstract shapes and I was given a chance to view them objectively, completely disconnected from what they mean. My friends face turned into a bunch of flat shapes and I realised that this is how I experience everything. A series of shapes in front of me that invoke feelings and thoughts and to a degree I can't control this and I'm going to make a lot of mistakes.

I just want to be better for myself and everyone around me. I don't want to become a servant to everything around me and forget who I am.

DXM is one hell of a drug. Is this what ketamine and 3meo-pcp feel like? I just don't wanna enter psychosis and run around naked jumping on cars and smashing shit screaming nothing matters. I've gotten that fucked up on drugs a few times now and seen it happen to other people too. shit is weird

For now I'm just enjoying the mania. I had one irl buddy that liked doing this stuff but he got sober after a heap of health issues. I feel so lonely not being able to share these highs with anyone. I can't introduce anyone to these drugs because they cause so much harm and it's not okay to not let people find them themselves.

Thank you for this thread. I feel a little less alone being able to spout gibberish at strangers on the internet.

Since Aristotle, man has organized his knowledge vertically in separate and unrelated groups---Science, Religion, Sex, Relaxation, Work, etc. The main emphasis in his language, his system of storing knowledge, has been on the identification of objects rather than on the relationships between objects. He is now forced to use his tools of reasoning separately and for one situation at a time. Had man been able to see past this hypnotic way of thinking, to distrust it (as did Einstein), and to resystematize his knowledge so that it would all be related horizontally, he would now enjoy the perfect sanity which comes from being able to deal with life in its entirety.

Recently, it has become possible for man to chemically alter his mental state and thus alter his point of view (that is, his own basic relation with the outside world which determines how he stores his information). He then can restructure his thinking and change his language so that his thoughts bear more relation to his life and his problems, therefore approaching them more sanely.

It is this quest for pure sanity that forms the basis of the songs on this album.

Either I'm guessing you're read up on Martin Heidegger or you should be looking him up if you don't know who he is.

That said, even though the hallucinogens are great agents for facilitating the self-awareness and open-mindedness needed to critically analyze ourselves and the universe, and the relationships between us on an epistemological level, they're hardly a requisite for achieving that kind of thinking and the knowledge that comes with it. The drugs simply make the point so on the nose that it's virtually impossible to miss, which means drug users and experience seekers who otherwise didn't give much of a fuck to put the effort into understanding the nature of reality wind up realizing their ideas and beliefs about what they thought they knew was all wrong and they didn't have a clue. Some of the time people who weren't interested in the nature of reality that get this experience to develop an appreciation for trying discover whatever truth about that as is actually humanly capable of comprehending, others just become annoying hippies and hipster psychedelic culture faggots because they still don't actually care... which there isn't anythign wrong with not actually caring about the truth, it's just they act like they've had it revealed entirely to them and go on to be the GoAcid's and Aw Wizard's of the world, fully believing that the direct experiences the psychotomimetic drugs they're taking are actually reality instead of just a neat experience that highlights the fact we can't trust our senses, knowledge, or societal institutions and cultural beliefs without a healthy degree of mistrust because how easily the mind is tricked.

Or even OEV will be like my phone looks and feels like its incredible tiny like the size of a piece of candy or something yet I can usually still view whats on the screen as if its being projected as a 2.5D hologram. There was one neat CEV I used to get when I was new to DXM that I would use to test if I was peaking. Basically I'd be in bed with the lights out, completely pitch black with my headphones plugged into my phone, which was face down next to my head. Typically I'd pick it up, press the button and check the time, set the playlist etc. The test to see if I was peaking or if I took enough DXM or whatever would be to keep my eyes closed, grab my phone and turn it toward my face without pressing the button. The CEV would be that the phone emitted a light as if I turned it on, which was bright as shit even through my eyelids because my eyes were adjusted to the pitch darkness of my bedroom. Then I'd open my eyes and see that my phone's screen was off the whole time. Good memory but I don't get that one anymore. I guess doing it over and over every trip for dozens of trips finally made my subconscious brain realize what was going on.

Biggest trip of my life was LSDXM. I've also mixed dxm with shrooms, nbome, and dmt. Nbome combo usually had a pretty heavy bodyload. I only did the mushroom combo once and don't really remember it. I smoked a decent amound of dmt after being awake for a few days on a sigma excursion, although there wasn't much that was special about it since I was already in the process of hacking the matrix server.

that's a layman's logic though. I'm sure you've been offended by something that was too watered down for you. Probably the way you look at dora the explorer is how I view that song.

not liking it doesn't mean what you were inclined to think it did

do you apply that logic to everything? If someone takes offense to something it's because they secretly want to express it too? Especially anonymously online if they're offended, in a very safe place to express anything you want without real repercussions from any incurred judgment?

bro you sound like a fag no offence. I hope you become a greater man. This has little to do with music at this point, I was busting your balls but I really don't like the song's atmosphere. I don't get weepy and soft when I do drugs, though I know a lot of people do and I don't hold it against them because not everyone is the same. We're all going through different phases in life with different resources we've accumulated throughout our lifetimes. We've been built differently so interests wont match up all the time, to say the least.

I just wanted to correct what you were saying. So if I call you a fag (hopefully you wont after reading my explanation about why you shouldn't follow the train of thought you did, and why you especially shouldn't apply it to all situations (there's a time and place for everything)) then I must be a closet homosexual?

you gotta check yourself because the way you're thinking doesn't make sense. nothing can be universally applied. you don't want to take something that may have worked in one place and assume it works in all other places. most wisdomic, reactionary expressions have a limited application.

Maybe I'm the odd one out.

Also please don't think this is about how cool I am or how much better I think I am than you because that's not the case at all. At this point it's an intelligent discussion, in my mind. We're talking about ideas now, covering ground, trying to settle the truth. It's the way you've conducted yourself based on your thinking that has interested me, and not the implications any of that has on my social status among you, here anonymously. It's not a power struggle - it's a quest for truth now.

how you gonna be the scared one when you do dissociatives and I'm sober?

you should at least read it if you haven't already. I literally did that to help you. And if you think I'm wrong you should help me in return by explaining it to me so that I can be better

I put in at least one disclaimer to reduce the discomfort I anticipated it would make you feel. Come on bud, life goes on. None of this is going to matter say, a week from now. Just go for it.

Perhaps the most insane part was how I was hacking into the matrix, I legit closed my eyes and could see myself waking up in an alternate dimension, shit like this never happens to me on lsd, even if I take 3 tabs. but mixing is craaaaaazyyyyy.

only way you get into trouble with DXM is if you experience ego death and it's your first time so you don't know better and you do the wrong things.

it took me 3.5 years of multiple doses a day, and it happened once. Couldn't feel fear, literally. Thought pain was imaginary so I was able to ignore the police beating me up and the mace on me. Realized more than anybody sober is capable of, that they're literally people in costumes and have no real authority. I could see fear in everybody's body language, I could feel what the influence they were trying to have with their speech.. speech sounded like this stupid, really quick babble nonsense and it seemed to me like telepathic communication would be far more efficient. when I woke up the next day in a jail cell it was no bueno

This for whatever reason to me seems straight out of a k-hole, I can't explain why entirely, it just feels so /dis/, the music, the visuals, the costumes, the audience, it's so weird.

I wonder if it's at least partly because having been born in America after the cold war, Soviet culture is completely alien to me, but because at this point in history the USSR had adopted a lot of Western capitalist culture during perestroika that there's just enough in there that I DO understand that it enters uncanny valley territory, especially because of the picture and sound quality, even in my own culture things that remind me of the time right BEFORE I was born creep me out, I think other people experience this too

bruh why are /dis/ vibes always so cyberpunk????

that feeling like time isn't real, makes nostalgia for times that never actually existed so much easier.

when i was more into dissos, i loved listening to footwork while tripping. dj rashad is, was, and will always be king.

Do you remember anyone here?
No you don't remember anything at all
I'm sleeping, I'm flat on my back
Never woke up, had no regrets

There's a party in my mind
And I hope it never stops
There's a party up there all the time
And they'll party till they drop

Other people can go home
Everybody else can split
I'll be here all the time
No, I can never quit

Take a walk through the land of shadows
Take a walk through the peaceful meadows
Don't look so disappointed
It isn't what you hoped for, is it?

That album always had strong PCP vibes to me for some reason, something about the grittiness of it combined with a trippy/avant garde sound, its got more of that manic /dis/ feel than the sedated feel of ket/DXM

Also forget the most /dis/ line

>I'm stuck here in my seat
>I might not ever stand up

i feel that, except this one which is 100% what a DXM/DPH trip is like to me

especially the garbled synth voices towards the end 3:50, they sound exactly like what gibberish thoughts are to me, then the dissonant playing by Robert Fripp on top of it is peak /del/ vibes imo

Man I forgot how great that song was. That bit definitely gave me legit dxm/dph flashbacks.

Here's another one that hits that /del/ note perfectly, though not with voices.

The title is very fitting. The /del/ bit starts at about 10:20 but the whole song is fucking great and worth listening to in full. If you know of Fripp then you've probably also listened to your fair share of Yes already and probably heard this before but whatever.

Here's one more in a completely different genre that tells a story about a /del/ encounter on dramamine.

Both fit great too I think, I had heard The Gates of Delirium but not the Modest Mouse song so that was good.

Thought of a few whole albums you reminded me of that fit really well too I think.

No New York and Parable of Arable Land especially.

I've heard multiple rappers from the SUC freestyle on screw tapes about drinking tussin and smoking sherm. I think all the drank and blunts and dissos really came through in the vibe of their music.

Somebody here made a meme of the pokemon sprite for Zapdos and altered the colors or mixed it with another pokemon on that generator and called it "fapdos" or something like that. Anyone remember or have that pic still? I think it was something funnier than fapdos because I remember giggling and thinking it was pretty clever, but that could be it.

Unfortunately my pc of 10 years died last year and I haven't had one since then.

A few months ago I started doing these videos that are like, fast-paced comedic skits used out of cutting videos together.

Anyway. Got into doing Robocough very regularly a few months ago, and started making these videos while I was high on it. I post new ones every Sunday.

Here's all the episodes (as of today) that I've made while high on DXM.

I was looking for a personification of DXM. I found this girl, posted a few months ago. I then found a post on some psychedelic forum from 2010 that spoke about a DXM girl. Seemed similar to the description, and to shit I've seen. Like this blueish mist and glow that visuals have. So, I got a friend to make a koikatsu of her.
