Never done DXM before, but I have a lot of experience with psychedelics (psilocybin and LSD), MDMA and I am an avid weed smoker. Did my homework and seems my drugstore sells pic related. The only active ingredient is "dextromorphan hydrobromide", so this should be it, right?

Now, from what I've heard on here, I'm supposed to do the entire bottle? It's a 250mL bottle, 3mg per mL. So 750mg of DXM? Is that gonna get me high? What should I expect? I live by myself and I'm not leaving the house today, so staying close to the toilet. I have a music playlist setup and some movies.

Alright, I did some more reading. According to Wikipedia:

"The first plateau (1.5 to 2.5 mg per kg body weight) is described as having euphoria, auditory changes, and change in perception of gravity. The second plateau (2.5 to 7.5 mg/kg) causes intense euphoria, vivid imagination, and closed-eye hallucinations. The third and fourth plateaus (7.5 mg/kg and over) cause profound alterations in consciousness, and users often report out-of-body experiences or temporary psychosis."

Considering I weigh 68kg, doing the entire bottle would put me well beyond the 510mg (7.5mg x 68kg) necessary to reach the 4th plateau. I don't want to lose my mind, here, just listen to music and watch cartoons or something.

So, I just did half the bottle. Will report back tomorrow.

Alright, for those of you who are on the fence about trying DXM, you really should. I was skeptical at first, because cough syrup, but I'm a little over one hour in right now and it just kicked in. Since this is a slow board, I figured I might talk to myself, but at least document the process until I'm too high to do so. I'm basically a scientist.

So Act I, or the first plateau, so far is exactly what I was expecting. I took a massive liquid diarrhea shit just now and am feeling pretty high. I understand why people compare it to MDMA. I am not sure I will be able to document the rest of the process, because my motor skills are already a little impaired, so it's hard to type.

I did a little more than half the bottle in the end, because I can't measure to save my life, so I'm thinking maybe 400mg? For reference.>>375518

Holy shit DXM is good. This has to be my new favourite. I've done everything in the book, but this is something else. It's unreal. Those two tracks are the litmus test for DXM.

So, clocking in at about 5 hours later, I have come off that buzz. I went outside during what I didn't know was the last plateau and felt a downshift right then and there. What a trip that was!

So, the six hours they say it will work for is accurate. Glad to live in a world where all the information is a google search away. I am really tempted to do another dose right now, but I think I will save it for tomorrow. DXM is a good buzz, it hits kinda different, like the kids say. More MDMA than psychedelics, for sure, but a good time. Highly recommend.
