Allantoin gives you dreams, apparently. I've taken allantoin for three days straight last week and it gave me very interesting dreams that I don't usually get. I don't get dreams unless I take substances which cause them and I certainly don't get them for nights in a row. It's been 5 or 6 days since I took the last dose of allantoin and I still get dreams which is amazing. My doses were small, between 0,5 and 1 gram once per day. Allantoin is usually used externally for skin conditions and stuff like that. Another substance that causes dreams is lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) in tincture form (no other form, extract, essential oil etc., caused dreams for me) and the I've noticed the first effects after 2 or 3 days of taking it. The lemon balm dreams are more faded but more fantasy themed than the allantoin dreams which are more realistic (sort of) and involve real people. I wonder if anyone else experimented with these substances or if someone is willing to try them and see if they get any results. Allantoin is really cheap and it would be cool if it is proven to be a powerful oneirogen.
