Melotonin is a common suppliment, I take this stuff to help me get to sleep, it occurs naturally in the brain but any drugstore or pharmacy has it, and it is naturally released when it gets dark out to trigger sleepieness as part of the cicadian rhytherm.

It gives me weird dreams. Like I'm psychically bonding with homeless people and the cosmic spirits are annoyed with me weird dreams.

Melatonin has helped me quite well in the past and I also experienced quite intense dreams while taking it. What I remember most about the melatonin dreams was the fact I had multiple memorable dreams each night and they were also quite social dreams, i.e. dreams where I'd meet loads of people.

Just a heads up though: you should definitely only use the melatonin prescribed by doctors. The supplement form of melatonin which does not require a prescription doesn't go through the same forms of testing and regulating and is highly unreliable with regards to quality and appropriate dosing.

Dude. Valerian drops. Tastes like ass that's been left to rot in the sun for three years but holy shit does it make dreaming vivid and intense.

Personally melatonin does the complete opposite effects on me. It doesn't make me drowsy at all but instead keeps me up for an entire 24+ hours at a time sometimes even as long as 36 to even 48 hours.

Took a supplement that had melotonin in it without knowing once. I bought that at a gas station and thought it was regular sleepy tea.

The following dream was just gibberish with spinning wheels and carnival music. And screaming, can't forget that part

0/10. Trying again with melotonin tonight.

Huh, I forgot I posted this.

Anyway, during the dream I was in a vivid college campus environment where some big guy in an undershirt and suspenders was trying to kill me. Trying again tonight

One night I couldn't fall asleep at all so at about 4 am I took 1mg of melatonin and ended up having this series of psychotic "half-lucid" dreams where I knew I was awake but thought the dreams manifested into reality and I could not control it. What's weirder is that I had flashbacks to completely uneventful memories I would not be able to remember on my own, like they were dug up from my mind. Kind of refreshing, but not a fun ride.
