Is anyone like this? Suggestions for dream suppression?

I absolutely hate entering REM / dreamland. It is stressful, imaginary, inconclusive, and most of the time I wake up more exhausted than rested. My brain is used to mmj to help suppress this mind state. I've taken a T-break from mmj since the covid outbreak and REM is re-emerging. My resting period is 8pm to 4:30am...

..and i get it, it is my brain trying to get through traumatic events and deal with radical situations. I do not think its fair for my subconscious to leave my waking mind with unresolved disturbing situations that end up triggering me irl.

I feel you. My dreams are less stressful when I'm more exhausted, so try to fit some exercise into your daily schedule. Try reading before bed instead of playing video games or watching television, I find this helps.
