This Rose render is literally mirroring what I said in the previous thread. SoulCalibur Ivy and Mad Moxxi are two of my favorite works of hers, and she actually took those poses and worked them into her OC. I also mentioned Ann from Persona 5, and here we have Rose in a tight red leather suit.

Seriously she stepped her game up hard with this month's batches; here's to hoping the rest is just as good, if not better!

Nothing new, every artist be it in art, music or movies use something called reference. Be it a part of song, lyrics, pose or setting. In russia the majority of pop stars literally copy music and replace the words, resell and nobody cares. That's why we have movies that look like copy/paste, and art that reminds us of a bikini model we saw online. Think artists actually pay someone if they used reference picture online? Well there you have it. Dude clearly can draw just doesn't bother making up a pose. Would be funny if she ended up doing a colab for fun with him, he seems to be a fan of hers ;D

Anyhoo, I'm not over-enthused by this pack. Dandon's art is always excellent, but the selection of characters just don't excite me. Tifa is fine, but I fear that Dandon might fall into narutopixxx's trap of focusing too much on one character.

Yes, sorry about that. It is quite convoluted and confusing. I think I once explained it, but I'm not surprised if it's hard to figure out.

Ok, so I looked at it and it turns out I must have accidentally moved the background folder to the right by a few pixels so that everything was misaligned. If you disable the 'background fixes' layer everything should work correctly with the default background. I have uploaded a new version in the link below.

Also, in case anyone doesn't know who to use the .xcf thing. If you want to change the colour of an item, click on the colour layer (normally called "_ Colour" or something similar) and then go to the top of the screen, click 'Colors' and then 'Colorize'. Here you can choose the colour with ease, ignore the brightness and normally it's best to have max saturation. It's best to have max saturation because it's much easier to choose the saturation by clicking the colour layer and sliding the opacity slider at the top of the layers window. finally, to change the brightness of the colour slide the opacity of the 'black', 'white' and sometimes 'grey' layers in the brightness folder.

That's pretty much it. you can change the opacity of any layer, but the quality of the results vary. it's mostly useful for makeup and colours.

Also, i don't know if anyone cares but I updated Akeno, Black Widow, Harley Quinn, KaiSa, Miss Minx, Pyra, Yennefer, and Elsa (2019). Mostly minor updates, some colour stuff and some random additions.
I won't even post a link because I know no one cares, but it's in the 2020 A folder which you can find at the top of this thread.

Also, another sorry to those expecting Rayne. basically i am not a huge fan of the design of the character, and i think dandon has trouble drawing characters from a top down view.

I would love to see Demona, but alas, she would be more appropriate for October.
The most obvious choice would be Pocahontas, the Disney version, for obvious reasons - and by that I mean she looks like the sort of girl who can carve a turkey.
Perhaps we'll see the Sorceress from He-Man, cause of all the feathers.

According to the rule34 site, Dandon fuga has already revealed the first of her next batch, Anna from Frozen. I would have preferred the Russian Snow queen (of fifties), or Miss Switch, or Sorceress (from He-Man), Kaguya Otsutuki, and some other winter characters I can't remember. I can't say more, because then that would be a list, which is apparently haram here.

Very sorry for taking so long. I just lost all interest in dandonfuga's stuff for about a week, dunno why. Anyway, I am continuing progress on the other ones. I decided to revisit one of my favourite old artworks by Dandon, Yoruichi from 2018. I've added some extra options like beach-related clothing, colours etc. etc. (bonus points if you can name the characters I stole the outfits from)

I can't remember the password to the 2018 Dandonfuga Google Drive, so I can't upload a new version of Yoruichi. So I've uploaded it to a different one. That old drive will be stuck like that forever because I have no idea what the password could be.

A few years ago I used to draw new clothing by hand but it would always look awful, so i determined the best way was to simply repurpose existing stuff. The full-body swimsuit is from beachqueen mercy in case anyone is wondering.

I didn't know it existed tbh. I just press CTRL+S to save and it saves on its own, then i upload that to google drive.

I'll try and do that in the future then. I'll keep an uncompressed version on my harddrive so i don't lose any quality incase i try and make future changes.

At first Bubble was a cool alternative to Pokemon's Bea since she couldn't drawn Bea due to the Nintendo DMCA she got, but now I'm already starting to get tired of Bubble, I mean, 5 artworks in just 2 months? I get that Dandon loves this kind of fit characters but how about using some of her other fit OCs like Aldelia or Avelyne? Rose and Neema are already starting to overstay their welcome too. I would love to see some more stuff with Rumi, Lilli and her Dandolls. Bring them back, Dandon!

Yeah, I'd have to agree... I thought this most recent batch was kinda shit. I like Dandon's art style the most (maybe tied with Sciamano) compared to other artist's style, but I feel like she could do certain characters more justice. Also her "base" work is kind of boring, and I like that with Smeagol's xcf files there's much more customisability.

I subbed to her for a few years and canceled about 1 year ago. I wish she would do fewer variations and more poses (reinforcing Smeagol's point.)

Also an actual different body type once in a while, instead of the ridiculously wide hips and huge breasts. I can't believe I'm saying it, but I grew tired of it.

Lol what? Those artworks you've mentioned can't even come close to her recent ones. Especially the OCs. The sex appeal has been increased at least 3x since then imo. How can you say it's gone when looking at characters like Bubble, Ghislaine, Judy, Neema etc. Sounds more like your own preference for something more simplistic, like Sakimichan's art. There are tons of other creators that suit your style, while Dandon is willing to grow and develop constantly. Imo her art has never been this good.
