On it I feel giddy, hopeful, excited. Off it I'm indifferent to some degree, slightly anxious even. I don't experience withdrawals or anything, but I notice the absence of booze in my life. I tend to overdo it sometimes. Six beers and little bit of good bud keeps my troubled mind at ease.

>what do you like about booze
i like the effect of making me problem-free, non-anxious, non-paranoid, comfy, sleep well,

>fav drink
my fav drink is beer, because i can compulsively sip it. i love to sip-sip-sip. i'm so compulsive, i remember when i did cannabinoids, a few times i was like: "if i smoke some more now, i will overdose, i wish the effects would pass away so i can smoke some more right now". (while the whole purpose of smoking would be the effects normally). i can do this compulsive sipping with vodka or gin too, but then i get major blackouts and hellish withdrawals, so about half a year ago a started to stick to beer only.

i drink for 2-4 days nonstop, then stop for a 2-10 days break.

>on it
it makes me feel careles, it makes me feel like i'm actually a normal guy

>off it
it makes me feel like a dumb trash. mostly i engage in social interactions while drunk, that i deeply regret the next day or a few days later.

The right drink for this time of year. Very sweet.
Second glass - zues' gold
Dry didn't get too much info on it was ready to get the sweetness of autumn out of my mouth.
Tastes like a nutty white wine.

I'm taking a long break from drinking in 2020.

This year was hard for me, I drank more than I generally ever have due to a bad breakup, losing friends due to my anxiety issues and losing pets and family members.

I binge drank. I partied at bars. I drank and met many people. And yes, while it did help at first with my social anxiety and introversion issues it also made me feel worse overall 24/7. My friend would come over, we'd drink two big bottles of whiskey. Split a case of beer/Mike's Hard lemonades and then call it a day. I'd be belligerent, annoying, too talkative and sometimes just a loudmouth douche. When generally while sober or even high I'm way more chill. I didn't like that side of me. It made being around other drunks more tolerable but it also started making me feel like shit. I'd wake up, have a terrible migraine, heart pounding, room spinning, diarrhea, vomit on the floor from the night before, one time I fell and split open my kneecap and almost had to get stitches from a drunken night of buffoonery. And then I'd start drinking again at 11 AM. And feel like complete shit. And the cycle continues. Not to mention then being sober would be a miserable awkward experience.

Drinking can be fun in *moderation* but don't overdo it, mang. It ain't worth it. I'm taking a long ass break. I can't promise to stop forever cause I can't keep that promise but man I need to start taking breaks... it's just too hard on the body. (And mind)

Taking out the recycling has been an embarrassment for the last few years. Those glass bottles take up a lot of space in the bin and a few dozen beers and some fifths make the sound of a chandelier crash when they go down the chute.
Im trying to stick to aluminium and plastic 40 bottles but it all still adds up over time.

The booze is at fault to some degree as it alters your personality.
Railing horse has helped me cutting my drinking down about 99%. The withdrawals are much less painfull but a lil longer. it requires quite some strength (or laziness?) to withstand the temtation of becoming a full blown junkie. I'm comparing 2 years of dragonchasing with 10 of drinking so keep that in mind.

Hey guys im new to this board. Im from south florida 26 years old this happened when i was 24. The bottle I had was E&J Brandy 1.75ml.

I was drinkin in front porch of appartments i went back inside house to sit on couch n watch tv. Next thing i know i closed my eyes n when i ppen them up again i was locked up in jail for gun possesion n weed charge i have ccw license supposably i didnt have my wallet.( only reason why im still not locked up)

When i came to my senses in jail i was very thirsty for water and had bruises around me. In arms and back of head. Still felt kinda drunk

When i got out my dad told me he never saw the bottle, which makes me think during my blackout i mustve drank rest or threw it away.

This was 2nd time i entered jail, my dad told me dat security sed i was trying to sell drugs to everyone around area. I honest to god have no memory and would never do dat shit.

Ever since dat day i felt different in a real bad way like somethang was wrong with me mentally.

I feel like i talk weird now almost like it was hard to pronounce words.

Is it possible i had a alchol od and suffered some type of brain damage? During my black out i mustve drank the whole 1.75ml bottle of brandy

Or maybe the officers or corectional offiecers beat me to a pulp cuz i mustve ran my mouth alot to dem duing my blackout? Like i musve sed some shit to rly piss them off.

Im not suicidal at all, is it possible during my blackout i tried to commit suicide by drinking the whole bottle. I know my limit i have no clue why inwould do this.

The trial was over i was given not guilty but i feel like somethangs wrong with me like i came back mentally slower.

Is this all in my head /hooch/?

I looked on google about alcohol od and i was horrified by reading about sympthoms

I sometimes blacked out from drinking but never was it this bad.
