Stupid Question About Drug Tests

Got a DUI like an idiot and have to take the whizz quiz once a week every week. They test for the most common illegal drugs (THC, coke, PCP, opiates, etc.), but I don't remember them mentioning alcohol being included on the test. I'm not getting breathalyzed by the way. A coworker of mine who's going through the same shit says he's not getting tested for alcohol at all and that a urinalysis wouldn't pick up booze. What do you guys think? Should I stay sober or run the risky of whisky? Pic totally unrelated.

Did a drug test at the probation office not too long ago. I have a bad shy bladder so I had to do a saliva test. Only includes the 5 or 6 major drugs (THC, coke, meth, etc.), no alcohol lmao. I think I'm good, boys. Merry Christmas and enjoy the hooch. Just don't drink and drive or you're a dumb fucking Bill Cosby.

The only thing there is to do at my place is get drunk and watch TV/Movies. Watching anything while drinking is...a struggle. Can anyone recommend anything good TV Shows or movies that would be good viewing while having a sauced down attention span?

this should probably be stickied imo

anyways 10high is pretty good for a $13.00 1.5 liter bottle.

for wine cul-de-sac & Liberty Creek get it done for cheap without making you feel like a stomach full of blood.

for beer (not really my thing) i think Hamms is ok, and stag isnt bad.

Lets go guys, we all need to broaden our horizons

I actually wouldn't suggest memantine or any dissos to mix with booze.. my experience has been it just amplifies the negative effects of the alcohol without much euphoric gain..

I would say depending on what type of drunk you're aiming for, stimulants or physical depressants like a light muscle relaxer or codeine

But mixing stuff with booze isn't the safest route to getting fucked up... so just be careful please guys and dolls

Phenibut is awesome for it's own reasons but i wouldn't take it as an alcohol potentiator. Paracetamol thins your blood causing you to get a lot more drunk, or just don't eat.

Drinking on phenibut is not a good idea I know from experience. You'll be super dis-inhibited, and do like blacked out bartard shit. Then the hangover is way, ways worse and more vomit-y.

Phenibut is great with amphetamine, caffeine, and weed (or even all of those at once).
It's alright with LSD, but I think I prefer it better without.

Anyone else have to get crossfaded/completely shitfaced in order to enjoy what alcohol has to offer? I have a ridiculous natural tolerance and honestly it is a good deterrent from drinking booze at all, which I've stopped.

Hardline alcoholic here:

Was an alcoholic for many years. Ruined my friendships, relationships in general, etc.
I used to use other shit but I stopped all of that.
I never did like weed. Made me think to much about all the shit in my life that's fucked up. That's why I prefer alcohol. I drink to forget.

Lately I've been experimenting with pot. I ate a whole edible with no tolerance and basically greened out. I'm starting to prefer weed now. I had two drinks yesterday and stayed feeling sick. Basically, I'm learning to kind of let go of all that negative shit that has been weighing me down and live in the moment. Not to sound like a hippy or some shit. But, yeah. I can't even really drink anymore with out getting sick.

Weed and kratom seem to be treating me right. I'm on the hunt for magic mushrooms too. Cheers

You've discovered the downside to drugs. It's called addiction.

Smarminess aside, yes, it's going to compound until you either call it quits or let your addiction kill you slowly.

The more you abuse a drug the more it's going to fuck with your neurotransmitters. You're producing less dopamine and serotonin because the drug has been producing the majority of it, which your brain takes as a message to back off and let (x) drug provide instead. You need the drug to maintain a certain level of "happy chemicals". Abstaining causes a spike in irritability, depression, anxiety. Your brain will eventually level itself out, but you have to take the initiative and keep yourself sober until you reach a level of homeostasis.

A friend once told me about the idea that maybe a lot of us just have an oral fixation, we're so used to having the bottle in our hands and sipping/chugging.. to the point were its not even about the alcohol anymore..

Do you think if I just drank lots of water everytime I had urges I'll just feel way too bloated to drink, or is that just a childish idea?

I've been crossfading for 4 years now and this is my issue. If I smoke weed I instinctually find myself reaching for the bottle when cotton mouth kicks in, and if it's water I'm just like... eh. There will come a point where I'll have to stop both because one without the other does nothing for me anymore and prolonged use of both just fucks me up

I'm in an opposite but similar position. When I drink, I don't feel like I'm far enough from sobriety so I end up getting out my pipe and smoking just because it's the only way I have to get further from sobriety without chugging all the alcohol I have at 2 am.
Then I'm awake too long and I get a terrible headache the next day.

The muscles around my rib cage feel like they’re tight as can be, squishing my chest and making it seem tough to breathe. Been like this for a day after a heavy drinking sesssion on Sunday. Yesterday my legs were really sore but today they’re okay. Anybody else experience this? Wtf is going on? I’m on day 2 of a hangover…haven’t drank since Sunday. Advice? How do I get my chest not to feel so constricted?

Why do I not get the spins any more? When I was a younger less experienced alcoholic I used to get hardcore spins but now I don't get them at all. I just progressively get more and more blacked out. What's the deal? What changed? Is it just my brain chemistry from getting older now?

Jenny Hagglechidging - Mon, 15 Nov 2021 18:32:14 EST zSF2cUPE No.287049 Reply
Actually didn't know this, but according to https://scienceline.org/2011/02/why-does-my-head-spin-when-i%E2%80%99m-drunk/, "lood laced with alcohol has a different density than its teetotaling counterpart and thus distorts the shape of the inner ear. The swollen ear parts push on the tiny sensory hairs, deceiving the brain into producing the sense of motion, or spinning." As for why you don't get them anymore, I'd say your body has just acclimated to your drinking and you've suppressed those symptoms. E.g., I used to get hiccups all the time in my early drinking years, now I hardly ever get them. Just have innately learned how to suppress them

Stopped drinking everyday, no problem. Primarily to lose weight. But I still drink at social events of course

And it's still "Keep drinking until I pass out". Moderation is out of the question

But do you know any real tricks to make that go quicker?
I've heard about anti-histamines(benadryl) maybe doing that, but haven't tried yet. Going to try that this friday

A good one is to skip lunch on drinking day, so you're completely empty bellied by something like 15-16, then you do three dubbelbocks on top of that, something real rich and heavy. Then you feel pretty satisfied, cook up some nice dinner or something, the beer wont keep you full for long being liquid and all.

My best friend passed away a few days ago, he was an absolute alcy bastard like myself and also love his pills and coke etc. He was my closest friend growing up, we grew apart in the last 2-ish years because he just became so difficult to be around when he drank and he had such serious mental issues, and I had my own drinking issues and mental shit and life to get on with too, going to university and dealing with my own stuff and not really seeing much of him at all
Now I get a call to let me know he committed suicide and I'm completely overwhelmed and wracked with guilt for not being there for him these last couple years. I cried my eyes out like I haven't since I was a child. Me and him always said we'd be best friends forever
