There is no avoiding this shit. Every few years we are finding that yet another substance we have surrounded ourselves with is slowly killing us. Think about it: leaded gasoline and asbestos, for example, were banned within 5 years of one another. We are constantly discovering that our society is basically built out of poison, and that's just in the US where we have extraordinarily low standards. We use tons of shit that practically all of Europe already banned years and years ago because we tell ourselves "its okay, its only a little bit" like a junkie relapsing on heroin.

Worrying about getting cancer from drinking in this scenario is like worrying about choking on a glass of water while in a sinking ship. You're fucked either way m8... so go down partying

Drinking Alcohol will kill you of other things before cancer does, my friend. Don't believe anything you hear from MSM either as, according to it, broccoli causes cancer too.

Nearly everything in the world kills you. Breathing oxidates your bones and makes them more brittle. Our bodies are meant to break down and there's no realistic way to replace the parts that are gone.

Yeah, booze is a real carcinogen. It's not like burnt toast or pickles or cured meat. Those are technically carcinogens, but it's hard to actually attribute any cancers to them. Booze, though? If you're a heavy drinker and get pancreatic cancer, it's pretty obvious that's from the booze.

If alkies didn't die violent deaths (fights, accidents, head trauma of all sorts), I'm sure the carcinogenic effect of booze would be a lot more apparent. >>281577 also this
