Hey as a fellow alchy I am always tryna hide the fact that I'm drinking in public . My hippy aunt gave me this water bottle for Christmas. Its made out of stainless steel and says not suitable for carbonated beverages which means the idea of putting beer in it just got thrown out the window. But what if I put rum, whiskey or vodka into it. Do you think it will be safe and not eat thru the metal. Id assume that it would work like a stainless steel flask

just wash it out regularly, those things can be frustrating to clean. i use a plastic water bottle that can go in the dishwasher when i get home. use a dark plastic bottle for darker alcohol.

I had one, great for the novelty but not as practical as a regular plastic water bottle. mine went in the trash when i was in line getting into a concert. security guards are looking for those.

I'd guess the main reason not to put carbonated stuff in it is because if you shake it it becomes pressurised and it the cap might explode off or it might warp the bottle. I put something carbonated into a plastic water bottle once and went to unscrew it at work to drink some and the cap flew out of my hand into the air and across the room. I'd be wary of putting especially liquor in plastic because that shit is going to leech into the liquor and drinking plastic is not good. Flasks are made of steel so probably fine, just don't store it in there for long periods

eventually. That is our job. You can use water bottle, water and vodka,
I would assume. But if you have say half pint, somebody may notice.

Flasks rock, and are best if you're in a social place where people won't raise an eyebrow at taking some nips, or may even join in themselves (like you said, skiing, or hiking, walks, concerts, etc.). If you're looking to properly booze, the 32-oz Big Gulp or its equivalent is a tried and true method. Fill it up like 3/4 way or less, then the rest with vodka, rum, etc. Bam, mobile and discrete drinking unit. But yeah, like >>286436 said, if you're drinking half a pint and over, people will tend to notice after awhile unless that's your baseline. As Julian from TPB always says, pacing yourself is key

So I'm not too big on drinking, but I have plenty of experience hiding other use in public, from smoking heroin monkey water off cigarettes I prepped the night before to sipping robotussin while talking to family, there is always away around the public eye and attitude is absolutely key.

I would try to incorporate something that would kinda mask the smell of my drink if I was attempting this.

And what do u guys do about the booze seeping out ur sweat and breath?? That's what always got me in trouble when I was very small and trying to hide my drinking.
