Not calling, but yeah, used to be a huge problem.
Get overly social and all hyped up for human connection, send texts or messages on social media to aquaintances or old contacts not poked at for some time. Or folk never actually made contact with before, old crushes from some school you went to but never made a move or even spoke a word to.

Always was the worst part of the day after, the hangover is just there. But that fucking soul crushing shame of fuck, I made a damn fool of myself again. Even if it was taken well and I somehow successfully made plans, never was something I was actually down to spend the social effort on sober.

It took a damn long time, but finally got over it. Used to be every goddamn time. It's like a sigh of relief to check my phone the day after and realize, oh yeah, I wasn't a total fucko last night. No cringy desperate attempts of reaching out.

Used to, but realized that it was probably annoying so I stopped. The annoying thing is now they call me when I'm absolutely blitzed (not aware that I'm blackout drunk at 11 am on a Saturday morning) because I haven't contacted them in months...then they don't contact me at all after that...wonder why
