Broke a piece and for the life of me cannot fix it. It is a statue of an alien and it broke at the waistline. It looks like I could fix it by just bonding the two pieces together again but every bonding agent I try fails to hold it. There are a few chunks missing that would need to be filled but they are around the same thickness of a sewing needle so that shouldn't be difficult.Basically I'm asking for a bonding agent or other material I could use to connect the two halves. I've tried all of the instant glues that say okay for glass but they never hold. I've heard using melted gold like a solder could work but not sure where I could get gold filler that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. What have you used to repair glass in the past? This could be the wrong board but I didn't really see any others that it fit. >> Archie Hullerworth - Sat, 02 Jun 2018 08:10:59 EST cKYPPc0L No.38550 Reply >>38542if glue doesn't stick:it's not made for the materialit's due to user error... that includes not reading the instructions.it's not made for the stress or load. You need contact glue or superglue for glass, never some "instant" glue shit. Instant glue is not made to last. Some instant glues may also have problems with crystal glass, which is usually the glass type used for figurines. You can get super glue for glass or proper glass glue. Loctite makes one, but it's also still alot cheaper than gold. With contact glue you add a layer of glue to both surfaces and press them together. After that, the glue has to cure for ,usually, 24 hours. When everything is dry, you can carefully scrape off excess glue until everything looks good. Depending on the glue, you might have to engineer a contraption that can keep pressure on the seam or keep everything straight. I'd suggest making the repair step-wise; the If everything is done correctly with this type of glue, the seam will be nearly invisible. So over the past few weeks I have been trying to come up with a design and a plan to design a bong for a friend. My main method was to use Armor Etch and stencils, but the ones you can buy for Armor Etch become limited very quickly. I have been trying to create my own stencils out of hard card stock with a standard ink printer and cutting them out with an exacto blade. I have been playing with the idea of changing the material to viynl , but they don't exactly make them in A4 sheets you can print. I've done more than I thought I have could, but I'm left with the conundrum of there not being enough detailed material in designing the stencil, and what I do create, is very hard to trace the details with an exacto blade without compromising the card stock. I know of printers that will cut the design for you , such as a Cricuit printer but... I'm not sure I want to purchase one just for an one off occasion, but these printers get results. Like herehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AO2qNxalupQhttps://youtu.be/iSxaqiuemMARight now I have alot of materials for using armor etch including lettering stencils. What are good places to buy custom transparent stickers that are precut? What are some other methods to creating your own stencils to use for glassware? Is viynl and spay adhesive the best best for applying? Is there a spray adhesive that is better used in glassware?

To limited degrees. Not sure if these are made much anymore but acoustic ceilings, like the 70s 80s I guess. Was made of kinda like between sheet rock and pressed I would say like fiberglass insulation. These would have many holes in each square, assuming to take some of the energy out of sound as it travels. I assume the egg carton theory is to disperse sound evenly, rather than to directly slow or stop it. To keep it from reflecting. As it is dispersed, it looses energy. Minimal effect but the idea of dispersing sound is basically correct. Rather than having it reflect. Acoustics, like at a concert. You can have the best possible sound, depending on where you are, or sound that has reflected multiple directions. Maybe cancelling out much of the real time tones, frequencies. Kind of interesting. https://www.nde-ed.org/EducationResources/HighSchool/Sound/introsound.htm

Also cover the top of the bong if you didn't pull it all at once.6: Never cough, this method doesn't work if you have pussy lungs. Also tip for being sneaky, light a candle before your session and you can light your lighter without striking the wheel, eliminating the sound of it. Smoked for years indoors without a single smell, neither lingering or even while the session is at hand. Much more effective to keep the smoke contained and away from stuff you don't want smelling than to mask it or get it out.
