Listening to some cafe del mar music at the moment. Pretty relaxing to be honest. It uplifts me a bit too and makes me think about everything I have and who I have by my side, people who truly care about me. I am starting to appreciate everything around me and the world itself. But, that's why I love this genre of music.

I don't know how I came upon this but I love it.

>The forth compilation of Frente Bolivarista is inspired on the sounds of Nomade Festival which happened in Halver/Germany on 2016. After a three day journey of a lot of fusion music into the woods, meeting dozens of great and insipiring people from all over the world we've decided to release a new compilation inspired on this beautiful exchange of knowledge.

>Frente Bolivarista represents nowadays more than 80 artists of distinct sound territories from all over the globe united by the joy of sharing good music.
Heard 1 or 2 of the previous volumes, quite good also.

Been listening to the new album Egowerk from The Faint. Used to listen to these guys all the time back in high school but I kind of dropped off of them a little bit after Fasciinatiion came out. New album is actually pretty good IMO. I think it strikes a good balance between the crunchier more melodic electronic-rock vibes of Danse Macabre/Wet from Birth and the more layered and deep kind of acidhead techno from Fasciinatiion, and the lyrics are pretty interesting and reflective of current social media culture without coming across as preachy or driving any point too hard.

Sometimes the future comes to me. I was listening to Nicki Minaj and just drifted in between a quick sleep and the energy of realism went below the threshold and when I came back up and opened my eyes I had a vision of Nicki Minaj's death in the future. She died at an early age and I'm sad. If she could keep in good health, she could change.
It was a double signal from early on today, I told someone about there death, and when listening to Nicki Minaj later on, a person was reading/studying me, causing the vision about Nicki's death to surface.

Interesting, there is soo much music that is so-undiscovered, so remarkable to many. There is the Library Of Congress, that preserves music, movies.

Interesting enough, Sonic Youth had Washing Machine. I used to look down at the girls shirts, a blie shirt with a washing machine on it, saying Sonic Youth.
But so mediocre, but discovered them later years. Not may favorite but, worth listening to every so often.

I've got my hands on the OK Computer sessions leak. I fucking love it to bits. It's so refreshing to hear some of my favorite songs of all time in their infancy. There are so many fragments of other albums outside of OK Computer and it really just shows how dedicated the band is to their work. Many of these songs wouldn't debut on studio albums for a decade or later. Hearing them in the style of the Bends is so alien but so raw and unedited which is totally uncharacteristic of the typically ultra pristine clean sound of their official studio releases. I'll leave links both to the sessions and to In Rainbows From the Basement below.

If you're a radiohead fan or even just passively enjoy their music you've got to give these a listen. I normally wouldn't post anything copy written since I'm not sure on this boards stance on that sort of things but these are both rare and unavailable so I figured there might be some leniency from the mods.

>I think "Aunt Suzie" is my favorite of his
of his solo stuff I mean anyways

C2B3, Praxis(1st iteration of the band), and Frankenstein Bros. will always be my favorite Buckethead collab projects

Someone here posted a link to this tune YEARS ago... Like probably 7 or 8+ years ago lol.

Returning the favor right now because it blew my mind back then and it just blew my mind again when I rediscovered it tonight.

A 10 minute synth jam that will take you on a god damn interstellar journey.

This is almost as bad as when Amoral changed from technical death metal to glam rock.

I get chills every time that synthesizer comes in around the 30 second mark. Saw them live on ecstasy and they did like a minute build up where you couldn't tell what the song was going to be and then there was a pause and then that came in and you could barely hear it how loud people were cheering.

Really need to get to a Peter Hook concert sometime
Good times. Miss the person I went with though, oh well.

That nostalgia tho. Mylo is the shit always gets me in a good mood, from that mysterious time just before dubstep formed as a band. The more I look back the more I realize 2009 was a great fuckin year for music all around

Reopened my dusty METAL-folder after years of electro-punk, hip-hop, various epic soundtracks and videogame-music again, and I still love it.

filled with something
that will set me free today
i feel i'm falling in my sleep
with no word to say

and as i'm driving
with the angels by my side
they tell me my friend
ain't your window open wide

please wake me
i wanna catch the liberty ship
please wake me
i wanna breathe the air so deep

Listening to Agalloch's Marrow of the Spirit, man such an incredible band, shame they split up. Glad I was able to see them live.
