It's been tiiiiiime since I posted here but I always love a good Soundcloud thread on /m/. To raise money to pay for better mastering on my upcoming release I decided to put out a pack of dubs for the grand total of £5. The description tells you how to get them if you're feeling the vibes.

Neat! I know it defeats the purpose of ambient, but with all those pings (first ones are weaker btw) I kept thinking of submarines and both the whoosh of propellers and the distant calls of whales.

Lol thanks. I just did it as a joke because of a post I saw from Netflix. One take, no editing or mixing afterwards.
I am working on a drum cover of Surripere on the Roland kit, as well as a game soundtrack using the kit on that, too.

Hey guys, hoping someone can judge my music.

>not exactly my soundcloud, but this is the place to have my music judged - so I was told. I'd appreciate a fresh ear on any of these tunes and look forward to feedback.

Here's my most recent project, started on it yesterday: https://app.box.com/s/3qh6desnbssg29d3ac0pc2dxitpu0pvm

I tried ambient atmospheric kinda stuff here: https://app.box.com/s/ee32aqi6v9ojkza397d200tm8ayje1ts

Here is acid houst/tech: https://app.box.com/s/otgcz21vuyi10h5ioezerhg2ydk1g7sc

The scarier ambient piece linked up top was made by glitching up pieces of this project, which was my second attempt at EDM: https://app.box.com/s/weibvrc8sokp8c3infis60dawkr5uzo4

Here was my first attempt at EDM style music - I still haven't really succeeded: https://app.box.com/s/1pzppk3znrtvcfqmcstlo2yuh9jm5u8h

And some techno on the minimal side: https://app.box.com/s/ietrb7wvnwnaxov41bqam3el7t5s9311

Thanks a lot... look forward to reading your feedback.

this is my my little clips of lo fi instrumentals that i archive before i make them finished tracks for my band but I'm not really even sure where any of my tunes could even be placed as far as genre is concerned.

I have been producing music for over a decade but haven't been sharing much.
I'm ready for a second opinion.

https://soundcloud.com/jonathan-nemo/saying-goodbye-in-a-minor

My father is currently dying of an inoperable 10cm cancer growth in one of his lungs, which has entangled major arteries and has affected the nerves which control his vocal cords. They can't seem to get his nutrition up, the man is almost a walking skeleton, and there's a bunch of other shit going on.

I flew home to visit him recently and came up with this song for him while I was there. I played it out using a MIDI keyboard connected to a grand sampler VST or somesuch, an acoustic/electric guitar fed into an 8-channel mixer, and I used FL Studio's generic hq drum samples for the percussion track.

Fuck cancer.

It's made primarily out of 12 oz mouse samples. and resliced breaks I'd sampled from breaks I made in LSDJ on a gameboy.
